My natural hair color is red, but i've been dying my hair blonde for almost a year now. Any way I went to the salon and decided to go darker, so now my hair is a chesnut brown. My hair color keeps fading out though and it's almost gone back to my natural color...I want to dye my hair blonde without visiting the salon, do you think I will be able to do that without damaging it badly? I know dying it damages it any way...but I mean to the point where it looks dry and brittle... (link)
yes its possible to dye your hair blonde at home... its actually really easy, it just takes a while. theres a few options that you can do:

option 1:
you can buy this thing called "oops". it will remove all of the chestnut color out of your hair and lighten it at the same time. you can then dye your hair with what ever shade of blonde you want with at home hair dye (this is what my frind does and her hair isnt damaged at all )

option 2:
this one requres less steps..... you can buy a frost and go dye... its supposed to be used to make highlights in your hair but you can put it all over your hair and it will dye your hair a pretty shade of blonde. the longer you leave it ob the lighter your hair will be.. (this is what i recently did and my hair didnt get damaged)

i hope this helps! if you have any questions email me :)

blessings!
