Q: right so my freind peirced her ear with a third hole by herself using a needle yesterday. it looks fine today. i want a belly button peircin, but my mom will never let me. should i ask my freind to do it for me? what are some safety measures i should take?

There are many risks of getting any sort of piercing done by anyone that is not a professional. Your friend's ear may look fine today, but without the proper care and liquids to treat the new piercing, the hole could get infected. Belly button rings are tricky to puncture. My friend pierced hers herself and she ended up getting an infection a few days later. I think that you should just wait until you turn 18 and let that be your "outrageous" thing, but then again, you might not even want it by 18. However, if you are planning on doing it no matter what, don't only think of the posotives, think of the consequences, for example, an infection, your mother getting mad with you. Just remember, it is always up to what YOU want. I just hope I helped.

Q: I'm a 17 year old dude. I've got hair growing everywhere on my chest (NOT gross thick like in 40 yr old virgin or anything), just a lot of testosterone.
Anyway, do girls prefer unshaved or shaved chests?
If I shave my chest and stomach, what about my underamrs?
I don't think shaving legs and arms is good idea. I mean, I'm a Texan and shaving my body is hard enough.
What about, down there? That region. Shaved or unshaved. (I'm trying to stay 'young person' friendly with this question).

You know, It really just depends on the girl. Some girls prefer Shaved chests and some like hair. I personally like when there is no hair on the chest, but armpit hair is fine. If you do decide to shave your chest, make sure that you shave all the time so that, when you're at the beach for example, you don't accidentally bump into someone and practically cut them with the little spikes of hair from not shaving in a while :). That "region" is really all up to the girl. I think that you should go by what feels comfortable to you. I hope I helped.

Q: Whenever i try to click on a folder or file on my desktop, such as "My Computer", it doesnt do anyhting, even when i right click and press Open. It temporarily shows the timer sign with the arrow, but thats it. I also cannot open a folder from the start menu. However, i still have access to the internet when i click on it. When i restart the computer, i once again have access to the folders, however, after a while the same problem occurs. Is there a problem with my computer and there somehting i can do about this?

Q: I've never been a big fan of my nose and I've always thought that if I got plastic surgery, I would look a million times better. I don't want anything huge - just that little bump that some people have in the middle of their nose removed and straightened - but my parents are both against it because of the risks. What kinds of risks are there, exactly, with very minor plastic surgery like this? I understand that it could possibly go wrong but if I go to a surgeon that I KNOW is a good surgeon, wouldn't that eliminate that risk?

No matter what surgeon you go to, there are always going to be slight risks. Even though you are just planning on a small procedure, the risks of something happening are just as great as if it were a major surgery. I have a friend that is just like you and dislikes her nose, but like her, you should learn to like your nose. Everyone has different traits about themselves that they might not like personally, but to other people, your nose might just be the thing that makes you more beautiful. If you are really interested in plastic surgery that much, try calling a plastic surgeon's office and talking to them about the risks of the procedure. I hope that I have helped.
