advice
hey so, we just got round tickets anywhere in the U.S. we live in NY, and go to FL & Cali all the time so those arent an option.
we really want to go to puerto rico, or any pther pleace tropical in the US, (not hawaii, bc jet blue doesnt fly there)
any suggestions? or commentary on PR? thanks. ;]
New Mexico isn't tropical but i hear it is a ton of fun! My mom went to a resort there and had a blast. If you are into nature and things, i've been to yellowstone and grand canyon they are a blast. Las Vegas is a ton of fun too. I went when i was like 10 maybe but i still had a blast. its good for any age. hope i helped!

If you could desing a ring(like jewlery) for any purpose, what would it be like?
I'd make this my wedding ring:
a simple gold band with mine and my partners name on it, with our birthstones in it
For a best friends ring, like if you were 21 and you and this girl were best friends since like 3rd grade i would design something like this:
a white gold band with both of our birthstones on it, and on the back have best friends forever engraved. i sorta stole the idea from my moms ring which has both mine and my brother's birthstone on it.

I babysit my little brother all the time who is three and now my neighbor asked me to babysit her two boys who are 9 and 12 and I'm nervous cause I've never babysat that age group so I'm nervous. Any tips, hints, or ideas on what to do?
Thanks!
oh nine and twelve, you lucked out! if they are anything like what i babysit, they will pretty much leave you alone. if theyre both boys, sit down and watch a movie with them. they will probably just do their own thing. ask them if they are into video games and stuff, and maybe offer to play some with them. dont stress over it, i'm sure they will be a lot easier than the three year old you are used to. if you have anymore questions, let me know!

How can you tell if someone is being a good friend? and what does exacly "being there for them" means?
A good friend can be different for everyone. a good friend for me will always stick up for me in anything, whether it be a fight or anything. In my perspective a good friend isn't twofaced, and doesnt change personalities and talk about me behind my back. BEing there for someone, is being there for that other person to talk to about anything, and the person "being there" is always by your side. i hope i helped

Hey. I'm thirteen/female and my friend Jill invited me to go to her birthday party. I moved away from the town she lives in when I was in fourth grade, but I go to these parties every year. See, this year, I want to go, and see all my old friends, but I'm nervous about meeting the new people Jill has become friends with. What should I do? And it's a sleepover party, and calling to go home at a sleepover would be kinda, idk, just like, not our age type thing to do. Should I go and see if I have a good time [ I usually do], or not go and save myself possible nervousness?
GO AND HAVE FUN!! =] trust me my absolute best friend moved like 2 years ago, and her way of tellingus was a note and on the way home from school the last day i was balling. anyway, i know what thats like, and i didn't want to meet her friends either, because all she talked about was this one girl Jenna. So what i did was i tried talking to my old best friends friends, and i really did like them. I dont talk to them much but at least i got to meet them
my advice is to go to the party. worst casinerio you don't like her friends, but its worth a shot. the same type of people are attracted to the other same type of people..personality wise. so if she found you, she probably found people that you might like. go and have fun!
hope i helped, and let me know what you decide to do!

I don't get what scrunching hair is, can someone explain it to me? What do you do? Many people say they scrunch their hair, curl?
Scrunchy hair gives your hair a "wet curl" look. It makes your hair look like its wet with (depending on how curly their hair is) wavy/curly. Its simple to do, and easiest when you do it right out of the shower.
1. Once you get out of the shower, make sure you have gel and mousse (it works better with both)and possibly hairspray
2. rub one of them in your hands and spread it throughout your hair.
3. do step 2 with the other product
4. take a comb with very thick, seperated brushes and comb carefully through your hair
5. if needed, hairspray your hair as well
6. wait until your hair dries, but it should still look wet ;-)
hope i helped!

This is the first time our spring dance is a "fling" rather than a "formal". So this time the attire is casual. I know I'm gonna wear jean capris, but I don't know what to wear on top. I have a lot of tee shirts and stuff, but i dont know. My mom wants me to be kinda dressy, but then they wont let me in. So im madd lost. Any suggestions?
Well, if you kinda want to get dressed up, jean capris are perfect. I would also try maybe a tee shirt ( something like this, with or with out stripes http://www.aeropostale.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2518387&cp=2284058.2254170&clickid=cat_leftnav_txt&parentPage=family )and a cami underneath it. Or even a normal tee shirt, with a cami barely showing under it to make it look like layers. i hope i helped!

the top of my hair where my scalp is it starting to feel real gross, like gressy or like i have gel in it and i dont! after i take a shower i blow dry and straighten it and then it feels all gross at the top while the bottom is soft and silky, its been doing this for 3 days and its pissing me off! what do i do?
Well, if you wash your hair every day, its a problem. Technically, you're supposed to wash it everyday (I wash my hair everyday too but i hear it can make it greasy :-x) Also, if you use conditioner, make sure you rinse it out a lot. I mainly worry about rinsing the top of my head, near my scalp, and make sure i dont feel any grease in the shower. Also, dont go too long without washing it (like about 3-4 days tops) because that can make it worse. hope i helped

okay, so normally i forget to take my eyeliner/ mascara off my eyes when i go to sleep. so i just go over it in the morning if im not showering.
is this bad? is it dangerous to my eyes??
thanks!
Oh i do that all of the time...and its not a good habit. I dont believe its good for you eyes. The way i get out of that habit, is by showering every night, instead of in the morning. I leave the face wash in the shower and wash my face as well. That way i dont worry about getting too tired to wash my face before i go to bed. Hope i helped!
