k so im going into year nine now and iv kinda liked this girl scince the begining of year 8. shes now one of my best friends and im still in love with her i think. out of my 4 best friends only one of them knows and she definatly would never tell anyone. but loving her has kinda been on and of. Some days I really want to kiss her and tell her I love her, but then others Im happy just talking to her and hugging her. And also, I think she might know im inlove with her cos she hates me at the moment ( if you want the whole story- http://www.advicenators.com/qview.php?q=584995) so yeah she doesn’t let me hug her any more and stuff. And I don’t know wheather to tell her or not?

Roommates at college

I moved into a 4 bedroom apartment this year for college. I have my own bedroom and 3 roommates. The roommates have been living here for a long time and are good friends. They are 3-4 years older than me, which makes it hard to relate to them. I get along with them just fine. I go out with my other friends that are my age and when I come to the apartment, all I want to do is sit in my room and relax by myself. Should I feel bad that I'm not spending more time with them? I mean, we go out to dinner every once in a while and say hi in passing, but I don't feel like sitting with them in the living room when I could be sleeping or doing my homework...

i have a friend who is a year younger than me. We have been best friends for the last 3 years. i love her to death but she's turned into such a bitch. I mean we fight about everything because she just downright rude! she got saved about 2 years ago, and now she is a christian. And i started going to church with her because i wanted to. But after a while i saw what it was doing to her. She started listening to only Christian music, she didn't watch certain movies like twilight and harry potter. fair warning this is sorta long. sorry, but please please read it. i'm desperate. i rewrote it zillions of times to make it a bearable length to read. also i will leave out some details to remain totally anonymous.
Here's the background on the situation. I'm 17 and a girl, my best friend, also a girl, just turned 20. we've only known each other for about two years and until last week we never lived closer than 2 lay-overs and 5 hours in a plane away from each other. the timing that we met was perfect because we needed each other in that moment. we became best friends in no time, we told each other we loved each other and were sisters till the end.

How Early Should You Send Birthday Cards?

How early is it to send out someone a birthday card? I sent someone a birthday a card this week, but their birthday is not until the end of this month and the person probably wont be getting it until next week. Any advice on this would be great, thanks.

19/F. This is the third time this week I'm crying myself to sleep :/
If it weren't for work or school...I'd have nothing to do! I just feel really sad. I have some friends and they're all nice people, but none of them "get me". I just don't feel a connection with any of them.
I'm a friendly person and I'm not socially awkward (promise). However, I'm not a super social person. I'd much rather hang around with a few people I already know then continuously meet random people. What can I do to change my situation?

I am 15, girl. I am having my birthday this month and I had a few plans with certain friends that weekend before my party and it was all set, we knew exactly what we were gonna do.. and my best friend (boy) bailed. So, I asked if he would be able to come to my party still and he said yea why not and then he said he doesn't know when he is going to come home from where he was going to be that weekend and I got so mad. In the last several months, I have discovered true happiness and am on a quest of self-improvement. I have come to realize that one of my best friends for years is one of, if not, the, most negative person I have ever met. I love and support her, but I have come to realize that I need new friends who are positive like me. I feel the need to associate myself with positive people.

Concerned about friends health.

My best friend last year went on a crazy diet, when she started she weighed 200 pounds. By the following year (April of this year) she weighed 70 and came close to sowing. Doctors estimated she would have only had 2 days to live if she didn't come in. Now, after she's been out of the hospital, she has gained a significant amount of weight. She told me there goal weight for her was 110-120. She probably weights around 150-155 now. She tells me how she eats all night and then when she starts she can't stop. I don't know if I should say something or just keep my mouth shut and let her gain more weight. Being underweight isn't healthy, but neither is being overweight. I've been friends with this guy for 3 years and now that I have a boyfriend he's jealous. The thing is before i had a boyfriend we really liked eachother. Alright. I am a 16 year old girl as is my best friend but he is a boy. We are juniors and we have been friends since we were 7ish/8ish. He's the best. loosing a best friend

ive been friend with Rachel for 4 years (since freshman year of highschool) she use to be a quiet nerdy kinda of girl and i took her in and she started to smoke weed and become her own person.
senior year we smoekd every day tofetehr and left school so much i smoked literlly evry day and it was so fun. we had the best adventures and obviously the worst of time sometimes.
our weed-phase leaked into the summer and we were smoking a lot but arguing more and getting on each others nrerve more and more.

lack of emotions

I recently began to realize that I really don't feel much emotions. When I do though, it is usually anger for a short period of time. Or I will feel stress, but nothing more really. Is there a term or word for this? How do I feel again? Is there a reason I may be feeling this?

Alright, I have one of those movie friendships. Everyone thinks my friend and I are going to fall in love, get together, get married one day and live happily ever after. We see each other everyday for practice but now we're gonna hang out outside of school and we finally found time and we are hanging out the 21st and 22nd. My really good friend is a boy and I am a girl. We have known each other since third grade. We are both 16 and in eleventh now. Everyone thinks we like each other, I guess because we talk and laugh a lot and we have a lot in common, because we're best friends, ya know. One thing that makes me believe them is, he likes playing guitar and singing. He plays his guitar for me but he won't sing in front of me, I just can't make him do it. My best friend has been kicked out of her apartment twice now coz she has been caught with her roommates stuff. I just found out a while ago and I was trying to contact her but her cell is off and she is not responding to my e-mails. I'm really worried about her, she is suffering some family problem and I suspect she has an OCD. Her boyfriend is no help either. He just won't talk to us and her parents seems not to care.
