I am 15 years old. Ever since I can remember, I have been unhappy - including my early childhood, which was filled by drunk and uncaring parents. I was sexually abused by my step brother for 2 years, and when I tried to tell my parents, they threatened to send me to a therapy session for 'false memories.' I grew up a quiet and introverted child, and I could never change my ways. I have always been filled with this guilt, sadness, and hatred, which led to me wanting to commit suicide. I hate speaking about my past. However, I want to learn how to open up and let people in - to trust them. I want to not worry about what they might think and to just move on. How do I do that?

MAJOR PROBLEMS: completely lost motivation in life

Every year just seems to get worse and worse, ever since 7th grade. That's when I started having problems with procrastination. Before that, it took me longer than normal to do work, too. I'd spend hours doing homework that would take others less than an hour. Now I'm 16 in 11th grade and this is the worst year yet. I am failing 6 out of 8 classes.. and I have so much make up work to do that I'm not even sure my teachers will accept but I have to do it anyways.. I don't know how I got myself in this situation. I had summer reading, but I put it off til last minute. My teacher said that only me and 1 other person in all of her classes didn't hand in a summer reading project. I am a junior in high school and a friend I have known since 1st grade has taken his life Monday night. Everyone believes it is due to bullying. Yet, my school is not doing any thing about it. Nothing. That makes me so incredibly mad. That just makes it look like it's okay for people to be bullied and have someone take their life.
