About a month ago I went to this concert with my friend. It was an amazing concert and we met a huge group of boys there (like 10 of them). We found out they live in a town about thirty minutes away from where we live and we exchanged phone numbers. So I was texting a few of them but one guy and I really understood eachother and got a long great. We had deep conversations about drugs, religion, and we both thought it was awesome with could be so open with eachother. His name is Alec. not sure what catagory fit best, but, thats the best one i thought would work.
so, im having a little party for my camp friends because we don't get to see eachother a lot, and its for my 16th birthday. thing is, people are skipping other events to come, and i worried people won't have fun, and will regret ditching the other event for mine.
i have a wii, a finished basement, games, we are having a barbeque, movies, music, and a fairly big house. note everyone is sleeping over, including guys. is that enough to keep everyone busy? wgat do you guys think i can add to the 'to do' list? any suggestions? anything is appreciated! thanks!

whenever my friends and i hang out, they'll be talking and i'll listen. but then i'll try to talk about something that happened to me and they won't act like they're listening or they'll say something else that happened to them immediately after. it even happens with my boyfriend. its not like i'm quiet and awkward, these are people that i've known for years and years. how do i get people to listen to me? its causing me to be stressed and upset and i'm tired of feeling like no one.

i'm in my first year of college and sometimes, I tend to get a little stressed socially sometimes. There are girls in my classes and girls who are my friends that are just pretty, smart rays of sunshine who never have any problems talking to boys or making new friends. I get really jealous. I get really tense and anxious when i'm with a friend and another girl (or guy, especially a guy) comes up to us and starts talking to her and i get all these negative feelings at once (jealousy, anxiety) and just freeze up and can't even make an effort to socialize with the new person. I need help talking with a good friend of mine who has been in an emotionally abusive relationship for 10 months or so. The relationship has recently fallen apart and I want to help her understand that it was abusive.
While she was in it, whenever I tried to talk to her about it, she saw it as an attack and our friendship suffered. It never got to the point where I brought up abuse because I didn't want to lose her entirely. I kept stressing that the relationship wasn't healthy and she bought into that. Ok well here's the problem first I don't have any friends I don't hang out and my dog is my best friend .and you are probably thinking what the hell .but I think I am antisocial .I don't have nothing in comon with people .actualy people eritate me its like what people do doesn't make any since. Mk, I am in the marching band at my school. We have football games every Friday night. Tonight, this boy was being rude to my friend. So I told this boy I wasn't to happy with him and he said if he had a gun with him, he wouldn't be alive. Then a few minutes on the bus drive home, I saw that his bus buddy wasn't sitting in his seat so, I looked back at this boy and he looked so upset, he was sitting alone, his knees up, his arms wrapped around his legs and his head on his knees. I drink one or two drinks socially every 5-6 months or so. I rarely go out and never drink at home. I'm usually too busy with school and work and I don't really crave alcohol. Over a year ago I used to go out more to clubs and parties with friends so I naturally drank more than I do now (maybe twice every two months or so), but still not much especially when compared to most of my friends. So i'm in my first year of college and there's this group that I may go out with on saturday. There will probably be drinking and i'm really interested in trying it because I've never drank a sip of alcohol in my life. So, I'm a little socially awkward and uptight in many situations and I really admire the people in this group and would love to become good friends with them. This isn't the reason why I'm doing it but will drinking "loosen me up" a little? Will it sort of rid me of some of the inner tension I have when socializing?
