Stomach feels like it is tearing. Posted Saturday January 12 2013, 6:04 pm
I was in a bad car accident 15 years ago and they had to do a lot inside my stomach so I have a big scar there. A couple of years ago I had my tubes tied and they cut my bowels and they had to fix them. But anyways I have been having this really bad pain on the left side of my belly button, it feels like my stomach is tearing. I have had 2 CAT scans and they can't find anything wrong. Can anyone help me?? I feel like everyone just thinks I am making it up because they can't find anything.

I'm suffering from PCOS (Polycystic ovarian syndrome) and I'm very determined to lost weight.
This disease has caused me to be overweight my entire life and I'm getting sick of not being happy with myself.
What I want to know is what are good workouts to start with at home? I've been to a gym before and didn't enjoy it. I'm not much of a people person and I would feel more comfortable doing workouts at home.
If possible, can someone help me set up a schedule of some sort? I greatly appreciate the help!

I am 16 and i want to start exercising to build muscles. I am a twig and want a more in shape body. Plus I want to be healthier. Is there a way to exercise and not loose weight and gain muscle for a younger person. I am not super athletic so a little bit easier stuff please. thanks in advance!

I'm a sophomore in college and I'm finding it very difficult to motivate myself to work out and eat healthy. I'm 5'3 and a little over 100 lbs, so it's not that I'm trying to lose weight. But I know that I am not in shape. I never stick to a work out routine and I find it really hard to eat healthy because 1) healthy food isn't cheap! and 2) it's easier to grab fast food because it's cheap and doesn't require any meal planning. Sometimes I'll see pics of girls with really toned abs or legs and I'll workout for maybe 3 days then I quit. Also, I don't really know how to get into a healthy eating routine because I don't know what foods to buy that are cheap, healthy, and will last me a while so that I'm not constantly buyin...

So I'll be going to uni in about 8 months time.
Mentally, I'm ready-I'm very mature for my age and am bright enough to pass all my exams.
Phisically though I don't look old enough. I look about 15 or even 14 on some days. The thing is, my physique is petite. So I'm about 5 foot 5 but very thin. How can I look older,because I don't want my young looks stopping me from getting invited anywhere at uni. What should I wear to make me look older? Thanks

25, f. It's getting to be cold over here. I'm stubborn, and running is my cure-all, and I usually run 2-4 miles at a time. I'm going to be running this winter.
The asthma calms down after a few cold jogs, but what drives me crazy is the way my nose runs like a faucet. THEN I have trouble breathing.
Is there any way that anyone knows to make it stop, or at least more manageable?

I keep getting judged by my weight. I'm 12, F, and today this REALLLLLLY skinny girl compared me and my best friend.. "She's so skinny.. But like you're so big" I don't think I'm like obese or overweight, but I just hate how I look and I'm starting to think of getting anorexia.
I shouldn't loose weight just because other people want me to or other people compare me, but I want to do this for myself. I'm hopeing I get the new Wii U for Christmas so I can play Your Shape: Fitness Evolved. I know that'll help me lose weight!
Speaking of that, my brother has a Wii and I've been playing Wii Sports Resort but then yesterday he said I couldn't play it anymore.. I can bribe him, but I don't know what to do i...

I used to be skinny, active and in shape. When I was 16 my dad passed away the night before my brother was on trial for something he didn't do. Two days later, my brother was convicted to 15 years in prison and he is innocent. It's been 3 years and I've gained 70 lbs. I've tried every diet out there. I've also tried taking phentermine. My brother lost alot of weight on it, but it made me really sick. I really believe I'm gaining due to stress. Does anyone have any good weight loss (diet and excercise) plans that have worked for you? P.S. I have a broken bone in my foot, so my range of excersise is limited. Thank you so much.

How do I become more motivated to exercising? Posted Wednesday November 28 2012, 1:26 pm
I'm a very laid back person, completely lazy with myself. I don't feel like taking walks or riding my bicycle because I'm alone when I do that. The only way I want to exercise is if I had a buddy to go with.. no one is available though. And the only thing I have at home are dumbells to lift, and my mother has a small gym area where she works with machines like treadmills and other things for muscles.
But maybe I should just try to take walks/ride my bike by myself? I'm really lazy with that though.
Is there another way/another exercise that I can do inside the house that will get my heart beating and going, make me breathe a little hard?

Hi, I am male/23, 213 lbs.
I was 243 lbs 3 months back and lost around 30lbs in 3 months. I am a wide framed guy with fair amount of muscle but a thick layer of fat over it.i am eggetarian.
I do cardio in the morning and weights in the eve. Niw I am kind of stuck on 213lbs for almost 20 days so I was th8nking may be its time to start intermittent fastin. But thw problem is if I start my 8 hour window at 11 o'clock then I wont be able to pump my usual protein after weights in the eve that is boiled white eggs at 9 after gym. So can I skip breakfast and start my window at 1 meaning no meal after morning cardio or is there some way to do this better way.

I am 5ft 1in and weigh 128.6lbs. My BMI says I am overweight and I do believe so. My stomach sticks out, I have large thighs, and went curved over to the side you can see fat rolls. I am really short for my age which makes me seem larger than I am. I've always been self concious and have gone to the extremes to lose weight (consuming 75 calories a day and burning off 200-500 calories per day.) and I have a personal trainer who I see once or twice a week. I do not eat bad very often and I still don't eat much because I got used to 75cal a day. My dad was verbally abusive growing up. He said me and my sister were fat and that we would die alone because nobody lives fat people. He forced her to run on the treadmill every morning because he tho...

hi, okaay so im 13 and a female,im really nice and pretty(not to sound self concieded)and i have exactly what i want all around me. Unfortunatly, kids in my school are all picky about what u wear and how fat you are. i have a boyfriend. and i have over 225 friends. i'm one of the more social (popular) kids in school, but for the first time today i was called fat. it bothers me so much now that, i cant wear anything but yoga pants without feeling fat. i hardly ever eat, but when i do its soup salads chicken and healthy stuff. i'm not anorexic, i eat 3 meals a day, i just dont eat anything in between. it keeps getting to me, and now i wonder alot more often, why i have such a good boyfriend, so many good friends, etc...i dont know...

Please help me on how I can lose weight. I'm tired of being fat and I need to lose it NOW. I don't need gestures on how I can just "not eat desserts" or anything like that. Just please tell me how I can lose weight. Please name the excersize and how many calories burned (I don't play sports. Just excersizing please). I can't go to a doctor or my PE teacher or my mom or anything like that. I don't want my mom to think even more that i'm fat. And my mom will have to go with me to the doctor. And my PE teacher hates me. So please help me before I starve myself (I don't need a gesture on that. If I can't find any excersize, that's what i'm going to do no matter what)...

Hi.. I'm 12 years old, female.
So yesterday, I got done eating and I asked my OWN dad for some gum. Then, he said "It's all 'candy candy candy gum gum gum' with you. " That's when I just wanted to cry.
And that's not all. Kids at school call me names too. I told them and all they did was tell them to stop - they didn't!! I told them again and they said "Well they should express their facts and opinions". I told my mom and she didn't care. They can't move me to another school.
I've been counting my calories for over a year now. On the app I had, I set it for 1200 calories I eat.. I may drop it down to just 1000.

Hi! So I'm at a young age (11-13.. Hint hint). And I hate my body so i've been wanting to get anorexic, but I decided that wasn't a good idea. So I decided I should get into excersizing.
I did a little research and there are excersize routines that makes you get muscle (which makes you look heavier) and I don't want that. I just want to lose weight.
What are some excersize routines to make me lose weight and not gain muscle?
(Telling me to not worry won't do anything.. I'm now teaumatized. Just please help :(. )

Sorry this will be kind of long. I was on multiple anti-depressants for about 6 months after a tramatic event that unfortunately happened to me. I wanted to get off of them so I took a pill to slowly get off the anti-depressants. After going off them I realized I gained 20 pounds in a month. I was concerned because that did not seem normal to me I was a size 3 and I am 5"6, I went from 135 pounds to 158 pounds and a size 11.
