First off call me ice. Anyway, i just LUV katy perry's songs! But i dont know how to convince my mom to let me buy a cd. Sometimes the cover art is a little strange,im fine with it but my mom would take one look at it and be like "Thats very innapropriate. You will not get that cd anytime soon!" How do i convince her to let me buy it?!

Suck at singing, but i really want to be a good singer

I've been writing songs recently, i really wanna sing my own songs, but i suck at singing. Me and my friends are making a band and whoever writes the song gets to choose who's gonna sing it. I really wanna sing but i don't know how to get better, practice doesn't seem to be enough.

First off, call me ice. Second off, I'm that same girl who.said she was ice and i already forgot what i asked last time! Anyway before i rudely interrupted myself, i play the french horn in band ( I'm the only one who plays this) and there is a solo concert thing coming up,and i think my teacher wants me to play at the concert she said i was doing really good on my song, but i don't really know if i should play at the concert. Should i? Should i not, not even risk humiliating myself in front of a professional JUDGE?! Bottom line: HELP!!!

Does anybody know what the instrumental song (at least I assume it's instrumental, that's all you hear on the commercial) on the trailor/commercial for Beauty and the Beast 3D? I tried looking on YouTube but none of the trailors I checked were the song.

I can't exactly remember the tune, or any words.
The song is sang by a black male, and the only instrument is a piano.
It's a gorgeous soulful song.
It's not Ordinary People by John Legend.
I thought the artist was John Legend but I've done a lot of searching and I don't think it's him.
Also, this song wasn't a very old one. Most likely from 2000+
ANY help is really appreciated. This has been driving me nuts.

I'm a HUGE fan of christina aguilera. I was browsing around on youtube and heard a song from christina called I will be.. I found out that this song isn't on any of her albums (i own all of her albums) and I found more songs that aren't released. If there is anyone who heard of these songs, can you please list a few that I can hear? Thanks!

My boyfriend says he wants to slow dance with me. While I've never slow danced before, I'd like to pick out some songs to dance to. I really enjoy artists like Jack Johnson, John Mayer, Matt Nathanson, and Jason Mraz.
I was thinking Angel by Jack Johnson, St. Patrick's Day by John Mayer, and A Beautiful Mess by Jason Mraz. Any other suggestions?

Normally I'm not a country music fan. But I heard a song and was so shocked that the lyrics were exactly how I was feeling! I'm starting to like country more and more.. But I'm not familiar with country songs or artists. Can a few people recommend songs or artists for me?
I'm mainly looking for songs about love (moving on, finding someone new, or waiting for someone) or about happy things like doing the things that make you smile or just partying and having a blast. But I'm up for anything really :) thanks!!!

Ok so I'm playing piano at my chorus concert. I'm playing imagine by John lennon and its the finale so it's got to end it a big bang. I'm technaclly composing it as my teacher says. I'm playing for over 2,000 people (parents, family, friends, the adminestration) I need help on makin it one of the best best performances of any chorus concert at my town. Need ideas

Ok so I was selected to play imagine by john lennon on piano for my chorus concert. Im super happy and honored to play this beautiful song. I'm super excited and have been getting alot of support from my family and friends. Though one of them has been super unsupportive of mi playing and said I'm gonna suck. I don't know what to do. I love music and I play piano guitar drums violin and recorder as well. Its my passion and I'm sad that some people are being unsupportive that I can't do it. I don't know what to do.

Does anybody know any songs by a FEMALE singer about being in love but people keep doubting that love? Like they keep insisting it won't last but the female singer says it will?

What do bands think about fangirls, who wait after the show to meet them?

Like to get stuff signed and what not. Do they automatically assume they're slutbags (who are trying to sleep with them haha) who don't care about their music? Or are they flattered by it, and see the person in a good light? like high school age girls.. 16, 17.. that sort of thing
I don't want to give a bad impression, and I know they're just regular people, but it's hard to not get excited about possibly meeting one of your favorite bands. But when actually meeting them it's not like I'm screaming and w/e, I try to be chill and just soak up the experience. Are bands annoyed by fans, who wait after, by their tour bus, to meet them? or what? Like relatively mainstream indie bands, specifically. Bands like MGMT.
