Singing in a microphone

Whenever I sing, I sound.. pretty good i guess. But with a microphone, I really hate my voice. I think it sounds different--- yes, different in a bad way. What wrong? What can i do to still sound the same? i mean the microphone is there just to make the voice louder.. not change how it's SUPPOSE to sound.
Please.. any advice?

I loathe silence. I cannot sleep if it is quiet.
I used to have my TV on at a low volume, and it was usually on the news, but then my TV broke, and the with the new one, there isn't a sleeptimer.
What are some soothing artists to sleep to? Nothing nature, please.
But some calming indie instrumental songs or artists.

How do you learn how todance? Can you give me a story about your experience??? i reallly want to learn how because all i do is sing (but im no THAT goo) i wanna learn how do you knowhow to have a soft body annd good dancing with the body
also!! How do you know how to do dance moves? AND those really hard ons!!!

umm on the radio i heard this song.
the first 2 lines are "i never made it as a wise man,

and in the chorus its like
"this is hoe you remind me of who i realy am, its not like you to say sorry"etc.

I just got a new Ipod, and i want more songs on it!
The genres I like are Hip-Hop, Rock, Pop, Punk, Rap.
(I hate classic and country)

Why does everyone dance like a whore at PROM!?

Basically, I am a 17 year old girl and prom is coming up soon.....it seems like all that girls and guys do these days is grind, but I don't really get what the point of grinding is or why thats the only way we dance.....anyhow: do you have any tips or advice for me.....because I'm really shy and don't necessarily want to be all up on a guy....if ya feel me....
