birth control

So I'm on birth control, have been for the past three years. The reason I'm on it is to regulate my period and reduce cramps. Also, I've been sexually active as well so that's the reason I'm still on it.
Well not to gross anyone out, but ever since I got put on birth control my discharge has been super thick, and according to my boyfriend, tastes sour. So I want to do a little experiment and see if this all goes away if I stop taking my birth control. I won't be seeing my boyfriend all summer, so I don't see why not.
First of all, is it okay to just suddenly stop taking your pills? I'm only three pills into my new pack.
Also, once I see my boyfriend again, I will have to go back on birth control...

when something bad happens, i dont just get over it, i really stay mad for atleast an hour or longer. i'll end up taking my anger out on someone not physically just verbally. or sometimes i'll just shut off my phone and not answer any calls or texts, even from my boyfriend, even if HE wasnt the one that pissed me off. i heard about serax and prozac. my mom deffinitly would not let me take those from the doctor she believes in holding your breath and i cant do it. my other optiion is xanax and im young obviously i know i can get this without a percription. helppppp?

Will my period be over in time?

ok, so I usually start my period around the 22nd I didn't start until today, I go to mexico in 9 days, my mom said it should be over by then but I was wandering since I started so late will my period last longer? or do you think it'll be over by the 11th?

Athritis, prematurely?

Hello.
I'm 17 years old and my mother and I think that I may have arthritis. My finger joints (the ones directly above the knuckles) are sometimes in pain. The pain is sharp and comes on suddenly. I can avoid the pain by bending the affected finger but as soon as I extend the finger, the pain hits again. It usually lasts only minutes but can last longer (maybe an hour?).
It might help to say that my father's mother had arthritis, when she was older though, and that my father has somewhat deformed toes (they are kind of twisted here and there). My mom also had joint pain related to calcium-deficiency from her anemia as a child, but that might be unrelated.
I'm also fairly certain that I eat a ba...

hair health

i used to blow dry & straighten my hair everyday, so the ends of my hair got to be pretty bad. but now i wear my hair curly everyday, and i use mousse and hair spray in it & then blow dry it some. i'm also trying to grow my hair out, so i havent gotten it cut in a while. what are some tips to make my hair healthier and grow faster?

I cut my gums! How do I help them heal fast?

I think that i cut my gum above one of my teeth on the top of my mouth. its like my third tooh from the middle. my gum is red and it hurts, but only by that tooth.
is there anything i can do to help it heal? anything besidse using salt water? is there anything like an antibiotic ointment for your skin that can be used on your gums? I don't want something just to numb it, i want it to heal!

not sure about the discharge

So I always have this discharge coming from my vagial area, and I am not sure what it is from. It makes me smell and that makes me self concious. I don't have any STD's so I know it isn't anything dealing with that. Someone please tell me whats wrong with me...

minor acne!

hi so i have minor acne. just some really small bumps on my forehead and cheeks and some blackheads on my nose and chin that never seem to go away no matter what i do. what's a good acne product that i can use to help get rid of these tiny bumps and blackheads but not irritate or dry out my skin? help! thank you:)

I'm 13 and just started my period a couple of months ago. I decided to wear tampons because I'm in swim team and I had no other choice. I took my a couple of my mother's w/o her knowing (I never got the nerve to tell her I had started). The tampons she had were the big ones. But I had no choice. But a couple of weeks ago I got diarrhea and I was extremely dizzy. I had heard about TSS and was really freaked out. What do you guys think it is?

I cut my hair myself you see..and than I want to a professional beautician and she fixed it and made it look a litte better. Now I miss my old hair haha Is there any way to get your hair to grow longer? My friend Ashley, she has very long hair she tells me if you brush it out a lot, very well it will grow longer? I really don't know >.< Any ideas? Tips? Sites? Also a tip I learned for nice hair is by washing your hair with warm water than running cold water on it, it really works! Any other tips? Thanks!

so.. i put my first tampon in for the first time last night and i didn't really know how but i figured it out. i slept in it.. which was about eight to nine hours.. i woke up and went to the bathroom and i tried to take it out.. it didn't and so i went to the bathroom and it still didn't.. what do i do? is it because i stopped my period maybe? all i know is that it REALLY hurts when i try to take it out :(

i NEED to get rid of a cold sore FAST! i have one day so please answer this asap! i have an interview that it needs to be gone for. i don't have time to go to the doctor and get "speacial cold sore cream" i tried abreva for like a week but it didn't work. i think it showed up because i was stressed. i i tried campho-phenique, aftershave, and now neosporin. any advice? im 14 if that's in any case important? haha thanks!

Sensitive stomach??

18/f. Ok soo, about 3 years ago, in the summer for a week straight, I had really bad stomach pains. I did not throw up or even have like diarreha. But i remember feeling nauseous abs just a sour stomach. Since then, I've had a hard time eating certain foods. At first, it was just very spicy foods, but now it's just like pizza. For awhile I would take Tylenol like any time my stomach hurt just a little. So, after that I thought the whole thing was in my head, so still never went to the doctor. I've stopped taking Tylenol and i'm still getting the stomach pains.
It's not cramps, and I don't do drugs or take any medication. I've also stayed the same consistent weight.
So does anyone know what this is or has experienced it?

Difference between bikini zone & vaginal area

Ok so I hate having pubic hair lol it's just a personal preferance thing...so usually I shave it but I can't shave it every day and it grows back uncomfortably. So yeah, I bought this stuff called "Nair hair remover" because it sounds like it would be easier then shaving. I was reading the instructions and it said it can be used on the 'bikini area' but not around the 'vaginal area'. I'm so confused, I always thought they were the same thing o.o also, it seems to be SO specific about how you can't leave any part of this stuff on your skin...what will happen if I do on accident? I'm kind of too intimidated to use this stuff just yet...anyways, thanks!
