CURLING HAIR WITH FLAT IRON

OMG so my curler broke, and i really need my hair curled, but i want to do it myself, so how do you curl your hair with a flat iron? i youtubed it and wikihow.com but it just didnt work out as well as id hoped...actually it sucked. and it was terrible, like i had to shower to actually make my hair presentable. I need a step by step explanation and really detailed. thanks!

Hair lotion and leave in conditioner

What would be a good hair lotion to moisterize my hair everyday. There is this olive oil one at a drug store but i do not know if it would be good for my relaxed hair. It is really damaged and i need one with out mineral oil because they said it is bad for hair. also can use use leave in conditioner and hair lotion together? and how often shoud a person use protein treatments?

outfit for prom

15/f/uk, my prom is in a few weeks. I wanted a silver dress but couldn't find one and have a black one at the moment. If I keep the black dress, I'll need to customise it a bit and really accessorize to make it more interesting. I'm keen on the idea of red heels, and my dress will be quite short.
Can you think of different looks to go with a black dress, such as how to customise the dress, how to do my hair and makeup, what colour to paint my nails, what kind of tights, shoes, jewellery, hair accessories etc.?

Facial Piercing Healing

After a facial piercing heals, are you able to take it out for 8-10 hours a day, or do you have to leave it in almost constantly to keep it from closing? If you can do this, how long does it take for a piercing to get to the point where you can take it out for 8 hours at a time? If it is different for different piercings, answer for a "Monroe" please. i wanna appear taller

ok so im not exactly tall. I'm 16 and some 8th graders are taller then me :/ but then again they are really tall for their age.
erm so like what can i do to appear taller?
i know that i should have a good posture, but i mean how can i DRESS to appear tall? i already wear skinny jeans. my weight is normal, i dont have any fat dangling or anything like that :P

How to wear lipstick

This is dumb, but how are you supposed to wear lipstick?
Do you put something on your lips first, like a chapstick? I was thinking of doing that with some spf chapstick before i put on lipstick
Do you need lipliner? what does lipliner do...ive never understood
do you cover the lipstick with a gloss??
PLEASE dont tell me to experiment, that is so not what i need just TELL ME exactly what to do and what you do or would do

prom accessories?

ok so my school prom is coming up next week. i'm wearing a knee length dress that is black with an electric blue vertical stripe down the center. it has thick satin straps and makes an 'x' in the back. my heels are silver. my hair is up in a curly bun. i'm trying to figure out what accessories would go with this. i'm not a very girly girl, but i want to look really pretty. what kind of necklace, earrings, and/or bracelets should i wear? and what color should i paint my nails? (fingernails and toenails) i keep my nails really short, but i'm not sure if i'm supposed to paint them or what. and also what color corsage would look good with this outfit? my favorite flowers are red roses, but i didn't know if that would go with the dress or not. a...

so, I have this plain yellow t-shirt, and the thing is that it's slightly see through, so on the back you can see my bra.
I was just wondering whether I should wear a white or a yellow bra underneath it? I don't own a nude one...

First Impressions On Guys With Long Hair

This is more a question for the ladies, but men are perfectly welcome to answer it too.
I'm a guy (obviously) and I've had long hair since I was about 17 or so (I'm 23 now). From a personal standpoint I like having long hair but I'm beginning to wonder if people see something different than what I really am when they look at me. This is especially true of the women I've dated. I seem to attract the type of women who are the complete opposite of me. Myself I'm fairly deep into the conservative side of things, I'm religious, etc... Prom 2009

For prom I have picked out a multi-colored dress , is that okay? Because for most, alot of girls pick out one prom dress that is only one color. I want to stand out, but I'm kind of scared to wear this dress to prom. It is a prom dress though. So is it okay to wear a prom dress that is multi-colored or is it too over the top for prom?
(P.S.) This is not my prom, this is my boyfriends prom.

I want to get my hair cut to my shoulders and pretty blonde, it's blonde already but more blonde. But how blonde is too blonde? Because I know some people are like "that girl is such a blonde, and like wow look how bright her hair is" etc...

ok so my hair goes down to my waist, sometimes a little longer but i cut it 1 inch about every 5 weeks. my skin is really white and my hair is darkbrown/maroon ish but some say it's black too. (it's not haha) like most people say it suites me and most guys and my friends seem to like it , other girls always try to get me to cut it but probably cause theyre jealous. it's naturally straight but i like curling it to give it more volume. so my question is, do guys like long hair like that?
(i know that i'm the one who should be happy with it and i'm NOT gonna cut it just because some guy doesnt like it, it's just a question :]

I own alot of jackets. But my old abercrombie and fitch jacket got stretched out at the bottom. And I loveee it(: But its all stretched and is there anyway at all besides tying it up I can make it like un baggy? Thannnks!

Hair color.

I have been wanting to dye my hair a dark brown for a while now. But its split half and half on yes's and no's about if it will look good or not. My natural color is a dirty blonde.
