teams and meeting people

i wasn't sure what category to put this under, but i think school is a good one. you see, i got all worked up about high school because i thought that it would be what i saw in the movies. i don't have any brothers or sisters and my cousin, who's like a sister, because she lives across the street from me, was homeschooled. So, the only vision that I got to see of school and such was in the movies and the television shows. So, like every little kid, that's what I always thought. I was just thinking though, I'm almost finished with high school. I'm going to be a senior now and I was just thinking about how high school wasn't what I thought it would be. what are some super easy pictures/paintings, etc. of things i could draw that can look really good drawn by someone with very little talent and not too much time. if you can include pics/examples that would be great

Tutor tips

Ok, I've been chosen by this teacher to help tutor this girl who's having trouble with spanish. I'm in highschool by the way, so anyways does anyone have any tips on what should I do? I never tutored before so I'm kind of nervous that I might not be of any good help.

ACT :[

Alright, so I took the ACT today, and it was horrible. I mean, everything about it was bad. I ran out of time(so I had to guess) on every section, and the math portion was crazy hard, and I can't focus at all. I have friends in pre-calculus right now (I'll be in it next year), and they said that half the stuff on it they didn't even know what do. I bought a computer disk set for practice with the ACT and SAT, but haven't used it much cause I've been busy. But I was wondering, does anyone know any tricks to help he read faster AND comprehend the info that I read. Because that was what made me probably get most of them wrong. Any other helpful hints will be appreciated considering I'll have to retake it again anyways. :[

I'm maybe interested of going to that school in london.. but will they accept people from america? well i was born in london, and my parents are afrcan.. and even though i lived about 5 years there in england, that was years ago. i've been living in america since i was six actually. and like is it really expensive to school there? is it a great experience? would they let me in? would it be hard for like vacations to come over to america and back again (if its a boarding school, though my aunt lives in england so maybe i could live with her). some people say im pretty good at singing and drawing pictures so idk maybe i could use that to get in? and do the people get to go to these fancy places... like the Brit Awards (omg is that where that ...

Pediatric Nursing in IA, COLLEGE

ok well im still in highschool and i graduate in 2010 but im trying to get ahead of the game and get things figured out now and not have to worry so much about it when the time comes. Because ive never planned ahead and its left me with a bad life so far well not bad but not amazing so im trying this and hoping it works....
anyway im hoping to go to a college in Iowa cuz thats where i live where i can learn to become a pediatric nurse.
i need to know all the steps i will have to go through to get there.

and maybe mention a college in IOWA that has what iwould like to major in and become
i would also like to get the highest amount of schooling to make things better for me in the long ...

Okay. so in school one day i was feeling really bad so i asked to go to the nurse. well i really went to my locker cuase i had advil in my locker. Well my teacher went to the nurse and freaking asked her if i went. I am in some deep dodo. I made up this lie and my friends told me to forge a signature. And i am not doing this. So i am writing a note to him telling him the truth. I really dont want to get in trouble cuase i didnt mean to do anything wrong. help!

math teacher

lately ive been having trouble with my math teacher. First off, he has an attitude and could seem to careless wether I pass or not. I try to ask questions, but sometimes he won't call on me or will make me wait for longer then ten minutes. On a progress report he said I needed to seek extra help, but getting him to stop and work with me in a helpful way is very difficult. Those are all things I could work around, I suppose, but it gets worse. Once when answering a question, he wasn't happy with my tone of voice (i wasn't cheery enough for math class?) and wanted me to have a better attitude and made me re say the question. He gives inprofessional comments like today when I was in a bad mood about the work I was doing (was not acting innapro...

egg crash car

i need to make a car for physics which we will be crashing. we will get graded based on if our car survived or not.
any ideas? i tried lookin online but found very little. our car is supposed o have seats, seatbelts, leg room, and doors that can open. we also need to have a crumple zone. please give my any ideas or sites i can go on, please

what does Latin from Greek mean? Like for example, i could tell that the word "chrysanthemum" is Greek because of the "CH", but how come in M-W.COM It says that it is "Etymology:
Latin, from Greek chrysanthemon,"
So like what does the from mean "LATIN from GREEK"??? Wat the... i thought it was plain greek!?!?!??!

so i have to construct a scene from a book. i choose to pick faking 19. im going to do a boardwalk scene(like at the beach with a ferris wheel and cute little shops). im just not quite sure how to do that? like should it be in a shoe box? im not sure any advice would be great.
