Trouble Learning

I've asked questions similar to this before, but I figured I'd be a bit more specific and ask a little different this time.
I'm in 10th grade, was in a very small private until 5th grade when I started being home schooled(same curriculum).
Half my family, including my mom, have been diagnosed with dyslexia. When I was in kindergarten, My mom noticed that I was showing signs of dyslexia but never took me in to be tested because I live in the middle of nowhere and the only one who could test me is 5 hours away and retired.
So I've always known I was, at least mildly, dyslexic.
I struggled a bit in 1st through 4th-ish grade with it but I dealt with it and it wasn't much of a problem. I like ...

Hi I just wanted to ask should I go to college if I already know what I want to do and it doesn't involve college? And my family is forcing me to go to become a teacher nurse or doctor and I don't want to do that... What should I do?...

Ok so basically...good news!...i have moved up to top set in english!!!(english as in literacy not the language) and for those of you that dont know what sets are. In my school ther are different subjects and for those subjects there are 4 different classes (called sets) and in each one there are about 20-30 people from the same year group. Set 4 is for people who may have a disability or find the subject very difficult. Set 3 is for people who have slightly lower grades than average. Set 2 is just average/normal. And set 1 is the highest set for people who get highest grades in that subject. I am in set 2 for all subjects except religious studies and now english :) i am in set one for both of them. And i really want to stay in top set for ...

A freaky weirdo who hangs around without an ID and tried to abduct two kids after school lives unpunished near my school, and I don't wanna go to school any more, what if he's stalking me, or tries to harm me? I'm only 10 and I don't wanna die or be tortured and raped! We have cops and all parents and teachers have been alerted of this, but I wanna hide and never go to my school again! What should I do?

Cheap school supplies

Hello Advicenators,
I teach elementary students in a poor community school system and end up buying a lot of school supplies for my kids. Now, I am not complaining, but it has reached the point that I will have to say no to a tear stricken child who can't afford basic supplies, or I am going to starve to death.
Is there a place that I can buy school supplies in bulk, or just more cheaply than I have been?
Any advice is appreciated.

learning about government

So, we've been learning about government in school, and the three types of government, and we had used a country for an example of each type: Canada,parliamentary, Cuba, dictatorship, and democracy, why not USA, best country on Earth (if you disagree, don't mention it, it seems that when I write a little thing that doesn't matter everyone goes into outrage about it and ignore my ACTUAL question)and we were watching an interesting video about life in Cuba, and for some reason everyone's always shouting something about some sort of revolution. I don't know much about revolutions except America had one to earn freedom. If a Cuban did something like that, then wouldn't they be jailed or killed? So, what is the Cuban revolution? What is it for? ...

I don't know what school to go to

Ok I won't say the names of these school, but one will be School A, and I went to school a for 6 years and it was ok, then I left and went to School B for a year and loved it. I made so many friends, but I had to annually do a public speaking project, and it scared me so much I decided to go back to School A. Now I need to decide where to go next year. I have friends at both schools and I like School B better but I'm soooo scared of Public speaking there. What do I do? If anyone can help I would be sooo grateful and give advice in return!!

I'm sorry, shallow jerk who thinks she's better than everyone else because pathetic losers worship her,I don't need to have the “queen b" notice,I only put the B, standing for something, say I'm cool, and have approval by others. I prefer my 5-8 real friends, than 45-69 friends who really don't like me. I read the blurb for a middle school guide, just for some help, but found out it was just about how to be popular. Please, people, what is the point? What is your deal? I'm not saying that if a popular girl who seems nice offers to sit with me at lunch, I'll say no, in fact, I'll say yes. But why try so hard with bitches who don't want you?

simplifying complex fractions

Hi! Is there a way to make complex fractions simple enough that even *I* can understand them? LOL! You may have guessed math isn't my strong suit, yet I have to pass this class. Can anyone explain the process?

Tomorrow I have my oral mocks, and I didn't really revise because I have so many mocks. I planned to revise today, but I think I spoke too loud or something. After 1+ hours I already lost my voice, so I can't revise now. What should I do?

I'm In middle school and I just got my progress report and I have a D in that class. The end of the marking period is in 3 days. I barely understand the class and my friends are really distracting even when I try to listen. I want to talk to my teacher about it but he isn't the nicest of teachers. He'll probably just ignore me. I have kno idea what to do or how to do it in only 3 days :(
Btw I only have one missing paper the rest are bad quiz and class work grades

school makes me feel trapped

I am a high school senior and I cannot imagine any more of this hell. Sitting in a classroom being lectured about irrelevant information is not in any way fulfilling or satisfying to me. The idea that I am stuck going to class every day for the next portion of my life is almost too much for me to handle. The "core curriculum" sounds like death and I do not want to spend the entirety of my young life being lectured and assigned readings over western civilization in the precolombian times.
I thought this feeling would end once I graduated HS but I know now that is not going to be the case.
I want to go out and make a difference in someone's life. I want to travel, photograph, listen to music, meet people, and just ma...

Ok I have to do a project in school on "Moose Disease". The problem is im not sure if it is the actual disease on moose or if there is another disease that is on humans. The reason i wonder this is the projects are in disorders or diseases mostly on humans so i dont know if there is some other disease. So i was wondering if anyone knows of moose disease on humans or anything else of moose disease or if it is just a disease that affects moose. Thanks for your help and have a nice day:).

I didn't finish my book club homework and I accidentally left the book “Number the Stars" at school and now it's Saturday,I teared up the questions I didn't do and decided to say my sister did it, but now I'm afraid my teacher will want me to tell her the answers, so please, quickly, tell me if you read the book: How does mamma divert the soldiers from opening the casket? A represents a counting number. What does A equal if:
A+A=1
A+A=3
If you won't give me the actual answer at least tell me how to solve it. I'm in 5th grade, and I'm in a high math group. Me, nor my parents and my friend who's also stumped on this problem can't solve it.
