Pesuading my parents to let me get my ears pierced

I would Love to get my ears pierced. I live in the UK, and i'm 11. I am allowed to get my ears pierced at 13, and that has come out of years of begging, responsibility and high grades. My mum has 5 piercigs, and loves all of them. I can't understand why she won't let me get them doe. Please help!

excruciating pain in my stomach on the right

Hi my name is Ciara I'm 21 and for about the past 6-8 months every one day out of the months I experience excruciating pain in my stomach on the right side right by my ribs and hurts so bad my back aches at the same time it makes it impossible to lay down sleep at all I'm not sure what I should do. I do however have back problems already and probably eat a lot of spicy food what can be causing this and should I seek a doctor soon

My breasts are sore after binding

I'm bigender and recently started binding, but realized that after i removed the binder (after roughly 8 hours of wearing it) my breasts were a little bit sore for the rest of the day. Is this normal? (It was my first time binding with a proper binder) Maybe i ordered a size too small? (Although i'm 99% sure i measured correctly and did as the website i ordered from told me to) I'm using a gc2b XS binder

Should I Feel Bad About Wanting to Change Churches?

I'm 27 years old and I've been a member of the same church since I was born. I never really considered changing churches until a couple of years ago, but even then I keep thinking I'm gonna move soon, so I figured that there was no point.
Until a couple of years ago, we'd had the same pastor all of my life. We called him Brother Don and he was wonderful. He was a good pastor and although he didn't condone certain things, he taught us not to judge or condemn people who did those things. He loved all of us and he taught us to love each other and love everyone else we come in contact with as well. He treated everyone in the church like family and he gave awesome sermons.

Pregnant?

I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend about two months ago. When it was time for my period to come a few weeks later, it was a day late and not as heavy as it usually was. But I didn't worry about it because I still had a period. Keep in mind I am on birth control. I don't take it at the same time everyday but I do take it everyday. So now it's month #2, time for Mother Nature. I am two days late and have barely spotted. Could this mean that I am pregnant or does this sometimes happen? I have been on the pill for 5 years now and my menstrual cycle is always like clockwork. Please someone advise me on what could be going on. Thank you in advance!

Seperator Fell out Day Before Braces

Get jumpy when its very sunny?

I know people on here are unlikely to be medical professionals, but I just wanted some ideas as to what this could be:
When I'm out and about on a very sunny day and I close my eyes to protect them from the extreme light, I experience mini fits. They only last seconds, but the more I close my eyes in situations like this, the more mini fits I get.
If I have like 5 or more of such fits I tend to, for about ten seconds...forget what I'm doing, where I am, etc...
The solutions I have found is to try not to close my eyes when its extra sunny. But I always have to experience a mini fit to remember to close my eyes to not get anymore-if that makes sense.

What are the side affects to caffeine?

im a lover of coffee and caffeine. One day I tried to consume as much caffeine as possible so that I would have energy that day. I had one energy bar, a cream soda, and two cups of coffee to get a lot of caffeine. After all that, I was really energized for a while, but that I felt like crashing and was talking sluggish and walking funny. After that, I ended up having some emotional problems. Got irritated and started crying for no reason. I know this happens when consuming so much caffeine, but I was just curious to know what the caffeine did to me to cause me to be an emotional wreck. I looked on the Internet to try to find answers, but all I could find was that it can leave you with anxiety. Anyone know the answer?

I can go months between periods...

I'm a 17 year old female and i have been concerned with my menstrual cycles. i started my period in 5th grade, and ever since I've started having a period, its been so unregulated. I can go months without a period. When im on my period, it will only last about a week or so. I never keep track of my period because i never knew how long or how off i was supposed to be. I talked to my mom about it, and she sounds like she understands, but has not done anything about it. It concerns me because i dont think this is normal lol

I WEIGH A LOT BUT I DONT LOOK IT?!

Okay. 1) I have EDS type 3 makes it hard for me to lose weight because of my loose joints. Hard to exercise. 2) I'm 5'8" 3) I weigh 210 4) I was doing the Atkins diet for 2 months. I lose about 20 lbs.
I am well portioned and instead of looking like I weigh that much, I look about 150.
I've been hitting the gym 3 days a week since January.
I have lots of muscle in my legs, and some in my arms...

I'm a 22 year old guy and I was with a girl who claimed she has herpes. Although she didn't specify which kind, I'm sure she meant genital herpes, not oral, as she stated she had sores around her vagina area. Anyway, we kissed. She didn't have any sores or anything on her mouth, and I'd just like to know if I can somehow get herpes from kissing her? She claimed that she doesn't have oral herpes, which I know can be spread through kissing. I didn't do anything else with her, and I'm still a virgin. Any advice will help. Thank you.

Adderall fears

For the past two years I've been on 30mg of Adderall XR a day and it's made a lot of positive changes in my life. For some reason I'm starting to feel bad about being dependent on this substance. It's an addictive drug and I'm paranoid that it will harm my long-term health. I know I will have to be off of it eventually, so should I try to get off of it sooner than later? My concern is that the longer I stay on it, the more my whole life will depend on it. I'm scared that when I go off it my life will completely collapse and and it will force me to reset everything, including my personality.The medicine has helped me to be more in touch with my surroundings, which has given me life-changing social confidence. so this girl i met , starting kissing me violently and after 1 day my upper lip is getting bigger and their is a pimple in it. whenever i press it , blood comes out and sometimes white fluid. I got a cream from a pharmacy , i put it 5 times a day but (today is day 1 ) im not seeing any results ??!!

Hey,
I practice my innstruments for about 4 hrs. a day. My guitar for an hour, my bass for 2 and my key boards for an hr. Playing music is what I love to do more than anything, but I've noticed in the past month after I practice my wrist really hurt. I get like this peorcing pain in and my arms grow numb and weaker than normal. My freinds say I may need to cut back on my playing time alot. And mabey take a break. I really don't want to I love playing music more than anything in the world. Dose some one know any way to releive these symptoms. My wrists are still hurting and the last time I played was more than 3 hrs. ago.

So I am bleeding and I don't know why. I f*ngered myself and in the middle of it I looked down and blood. I'm scared. The bleeding is slowing down now. It's not my period I know that. Should I tell my mom? I'm only 14. This is my first time bleeding like this. I started in the 4th grade. My boyfriend knows and he is worried. I nearly repainted the toilet. What should I do? What was it? Did I pop my cherry?
