should i quit?

so i babysit this six year old 3 times a week.
he lies to me all the time about what he can and can't do.
one day he told me something he could do and his mother got mad at me.
i can tell she really doesn't like me now, but she has no one else to babysit for her.
her and her husband both smoke a lot.
when i come home from her house i REEK of ciggarette smoke.
it's disgusting.
i have to scrub myself in the shower to make the smell go away.
but it's still stuck in my jacket, so i smell it everyday.
one day i had my boyfriend pick me up and he was gagging on the smell.
the mother and her husband are both getting new jobs and i'm also afraid i'm going to have later hours, whi...

Babysitting a 2 year old that cries non-stop!

alright. so i babysit this two year old. the second his mom left he started screaming and it took me like 20394823 minutes to get him to stop crying. it was terrible. the only thing that makes him stop crying is when he watches the movie 'cars' and i couldnt get the tv to work. hes only two and he cant really talk yet (late developer i guess?) but anyways what else could i do to make him stop crying? ive tried distracting him with toys and stuff.

what kinds of games can a 12, 6, 4 ages old i think play (it is like they are old, then young, and then one in between) i need help asap i am going in a few hours and this is my FIRST time!!!!! help!!!

ok so i babysit probably like at least once a week and i cuss so sometimes when im babysitting i cuss on accident and then the kid like keeps repeating it and i dont know how to stop!!!

Babysitting Rate Too High?

I am a 16 year old girl who has taken a babysitting course a few years ago and is certified in CPR. I don't have a lot of experience. I have only babysitted once before, not counting my younger sister. I babysat for a family that had a two year old and a ten year old.
Now I am babysitting for a family that has three kids: A three year old, and two 18 month olds. I only babysit for an hour or so, and the 18 month olds are napping, so unless they wake up, the only major responsiblility is the three-year-old.
My question is, is $10.00 an hour too much? I didn't ask for that much, the parents just gave it to me. I feel bad accepting it because even though I don't just watch TV when I'm babysitting, I play wi...

Fees on babysiting a lot of kids

I babysitt for a small group at our church. What I do is, the parents, have the bible study upstairs, and I watch the kids downstairs. I do not have any help. I usually babysitt 13-17 kids each time. The age ranges from about 18 months two 8 yrs. Most of the kids are in the 3-5 ranges, with a few 6-8 yr olds, and two babies.
I babysitt for usually an hour and a half to two hours. I get paid around $30-$35. Is that too much? Too little?

i babysit a 6 year old girl and her 12 year old brother. the boy doesn't need much attention he pretty much stays to himself while i play with the 6 year old. one day i went to the boy's room and walked in and saw him masturbating. i was shocked and said sorry and he looked absolutly scared beyond belief but now whenever i'm babysitting i can hear him in his room doing it. i don't know if i should say something or try to ignore it.

Starting A Babysitting Business With My Best Friend

My best friend and I are thinking of starting a babysitting business, since we're both certified in CPR and First Aid, and have taken a bunch of babysitting courses, too.
We were wondering how we could go about this.
Like what should we charge, should we baby-sit together, or on our own, how should we advertise, .etc.

(it's kinda ong and confusing, but please help me)I babysit 1 kid at my house he's 6 years old! He is alot of work and eats alot i mean ALOT!we had dinner once and he had a plate full of mac and cheese,a plate of corn,a plate of chicken and fries! he is also very stuborn!he dosnet listen to the rules i set and makes mess's ,dosnt clean it up and he digs through my stuff and ask if he can have it!And he's family is very rich but i only get $2 an hour.the other dayi babysat him for 7 hours and i got 5 hours worth!how can i ask for more without sounding like a brat!

ok, I'm 13 and I babysit for this lady who has three kids. One is autistic. She pays me $10. Not an hour. The whole 4-6 hours I babysit. It doesn't seem fair to me but I hate to say something because she is a close friend of my mom and has done many things for our family. Her family doesn't have a whole lot of money either. what should i do?
