Best Small Business Credit Cards

Posted Monday May 21 2012, 3:53 am

What is the best credit card to get when you are starting your own small business? I had no IDEA there were so many until I started looking around and it seems like every big card issuer has their own special small business card with different features and fees.

I am so confused! I just need someone to say: "This one rocks! Get THIS one for your new business."

Can anyone do that for me? :)

Thank you in advance.

Short Sale Lease Option

Posted Monday May 21 2012, 12:37 am

I was looking at a place today and the realtor showing the place mentions something about a term I never heard before. I just smiled and nodded because I didn't want to look stupid, but now I come to you and ask: Can anyone tell me what is a short sale lease option? I know what the words mean on their own, but even when I look it up I don't understand what the real estate sites are talking about!

Can anyone help me?

Posted Sunday May 6 2012, 8:35 pm

What is a balance transfer fee? I mean how does it work, exactly? If I transfer from one credit card to another one for a better interest rate, then there is a fee? How much is it, and does it come out of the balance I am transferring, or do I have to pay the fee up front?

Ex in debt and so we must all suffer?

Posted Thursday April 12 2012, 7:21 pm

My long term boyfriend hasn't been able to get a divorce or move out of his old house with his ex because money is tight and we have all just been 'getting by'.
We just found out that his ex has maxed out 6 credit cards so she can't pay for her half of the bills. I am on JSA and don't get much as I still live at my parent's but pay quite a bit of rent.
I need to know if my boyfriend will be expected to pay off her debt when the marriage is officially at an end? I do not know much about credit cards as I do not have one and never have had one in my life and don't think I would be allowed one as I am always in my overdraft.

How can I raise money?

Posted Sunday January 29 2012, 3:22 pm

I'm looking to buy a horse and I'm 13. I have an online job but it takes sooo much time just to get a dollar from that. I've seen books online about how kids can raise like $1000 a week or so. I already do chores and my parents aren't willing to pay me for them. Nobody in my neighborhood has someone I can baby sit. And I've tried putting up signs for mowing and raking lawns but they got vandelized. Any ideas? Preferably something that wont take up too much time. Thanks!

websites for budgeting?

Posted Monday January 9 2012, 7:39 pm

Hi, I'm struggling with money a lot and I suck at making budgets and all that.. is there any website that will be able to help me? I don't want anything too complicated just something really simple where I can input the different expenses and bills that I pay a month and it calculate for me how much Id be able to save and what I will have left for spending money.

I have a silly little part time job so like I said I dont want anything too complicated.. I dont have a huge amount of expenses but I'm finding it hard to balance between my bills, saving, and spending money and I just need some help.

Thank you.

Kmart closings and Sears store closings -- More info please!

Posted Wednesday December 28 2011, 10:27 pm

I heard on the news that sears and k-mart are closing a bunch of stores, but which stores are going to close?

Does anyone know the locations that sears and kmart are going to close? Like a list of stores that are closing or something?

Also! If I have a sears credit card does that mean that my sears card won't be any good anymore?

What about sears or Kmart gift cards? Are the gift cards still good even if you bought them at a store that is going to close?

Thank you!

My Bank Statement says yes, the cash machine/atm says no.

Posted Tuesday December 13 2011, 6:18 pm

I am 20/F on benefit living at home, I want to pay housekeeping out of it but the cash machine says I have reached my personal limit and haven't any funds. However my bank statement says I have money paid in from the benefit office and have paid off my overdraft.

How can I access my money? Also would like to do some last minute shopping for loved ones before Christmas as used my last bit on small gifts for my family and partner.

Small Claims on permanent record?

Posted Monday November 14 2011, 4:35 pm

I'm sueing my ex for the $300 he never repaid me (we have a contract with a due date, etc.) But my question is that when I win this case, will it go on his permanent record that he was sued in small claims for failing to repay a debt of $300? Will this affect him later down the road with credit scores and background searches, etc? Just wondering!

Thank you
