lyrics, your opinion

First off: I am by NO means a song writer! I admit that now.
Ok, I wrote a pretty corny song for my mom on mother's day. Seeing how corny it was, just made me want to do better. I just now put pen to paper and came up with this. I want your HONOST opinion. I tried to think about how it would actually sound as a song, but self critisism has always been tough for me. I want your 100%, completely honost, first-thing-that-you-think comments. Also, help on improving? I'm learning to play the guitar by the way, which is kind of my inspiration for song-writing. ANYWAY, here it is:
Going nowhere fast
time stands still
push away the past
try no to feel
you're not worth the effort

16 f, okay so i recently made a demo of my songs and also karaoke songs. i want to add them to my MYSPACE music page becuase hopefully im an up coming artist. so i want to make my page background with a picture of me you know like all the other celebrites have? is it possible? and is okay if i put the karaoke there sung by me i dont want to be sued or anything? i would also appreciate to take the time to ask you guys to request me and listen to my songs i have uploaded, and tell me what you think. www.myspace.com/kittymusiic thanks soo much!!! what are some good rock/metal/emo/whatever songs that are easy to play on the guiar for a beginner.
even if the easy part is in the middle of the song.

Dance Team Music

I'm on the Varsity dance team at my school, and we need a song to go with one of our routines since we're no longer allowed to compete with our old song since it was used by other teams.
It needs to be upbeat, with music changes ( as in beat) but it can't be all techno. please help! any suggestions would be great!

im not to familiar with the lyrics of this song, but i know the tune. It's by a woman, it's got a really pretty sounding piano playing along with violins and maybe some more stuff.
I dont think these lyrics are right at all, but something like this:
".....i will dry all of your tears,
......from all of these years."
and so on... It's a very beautiful/ id say emotional song. pleae help? thanks.

like im 15 and i still dont have it how long should i wait
coz i know some friends that sings too and now theyre like 18 and they have reall NICE vibrato and i remember when they were still 13 14 they had a flat voice

There's this song out on the radio right now and i don't know the name or anything about itt... you think it would be called summertime because thats what the chorus is. at another point it goes "the water was cold but your body was hot" or something of the sort. any ideas??

cute is what we aim for
