i just broke up with my boyfriend and i realized how pathetic i was, i devoted my whole life to him and became so codependent. now im deciding to grow from this and become more independent. what are some songs that have to do with being independent and finding myself? music helps keep me inspired =]

Ok so I heard this song and I really liked it. The problem is that I didn't catch the name or the artist, and I only know some of the words. The only part I remember is "elvis will you teach me how to play? Jesus will you teach me how to pray?" And even then I'm not sure if those are even right!! I'm really sorry if it will be hard to find but I greatly appreciate any answers as to who sings it and what it is called. Thanks so muchh!!
