I'm 17 and my friend is 18 and I told her I was pregnant and now she's scared and she started crying. She's threaten to kill me if I have a baby. What can I do to calm her down ?

How can I comfort a friend when she's sad ?

Last night I played a sad country song for my best friend. It was about a little girl who's father was drunk and killed her mom or something like that I forget what it's called but my friend likes sad songs and when I played it she started crying her eyes out. She hardly ever cries at sad songs. I didn't know what to do so I just walked away and left her crying. What should I have done to comfort her ?

I am going to be maid of honour for my best friends wedding and we have been planning it for the last two months. I love her dearly but she is now going through hell. Her Fiance is ex army and we have recently found out he went awol and they have caught up with him. She wont be seeing him for over a year and is left on her own with 2 children. I want to do something amazing for her to take her mind off the wedding and to make her understand how much I love her and am here for her. The kids are going away for a week and I want to do something amazing for her. We are both 25 years old. What can I do? Please help!

Hi. i have a friend who's gay and in our circle of friends, he's particularly close with me. however lately i noticed that he loves hugging too much and i'm quite uncomfortable with it. i enjoy hugs but this friend of mine hugs on an extreme level, like once he hugs me it's hard to get away from him. and he clings around me a lot. so now i'm keeping a cold distance away from him and i am aware that he notices it because he no longer hugs me. but i feel quite sad, i don't want him to misunderstand that i hate him or anything. should i tell him or not? will it clear up the tension?

My childhood best friend wants nothing to do with me, and I can't stand caring for her and she doesn't even care if I'm alive. For example, the other day I emailed her congrats on her graduation and received not even a thank you, however she was quick to reply and reunite with the old group of friends we use to share, I even feel left out of that group now...I just don't know what is wrong with me. (side note: people often tell me I am kind and fun to be around so I'm even more confused! I am completely open to suggestions on how to improve as an individual.)

I'm a 16 year old girl and my best friend is also the same. A month ago we got into a very big fight. It was mostly my fault, I lied to her about a few little things and made a big fit over the fact that she had told someone else I lied. So my so called best friend has been telling her boyfriend everything that I've been telling her, And I've told her a lot. We've been friends for about two years and they have been in a really bad relationship for over a year now.
Now i found out because her boyfriend yelled at me and messaged me all the things he could use against me. It didn't really matter to me because it just doesn't bother me. She's been so scared of me. When I came into her bedroom she didn't want to look at me she hid her face into her pillow and cried. I don't think I did anything to hurt her. I've never had a real best friend untill now, I've been best friends with my friend Tiffany for about 3 years and we're like sister's. For some reason I get jeloues and depressed because she hangs out with other people and doesn't invite me. But when I do that she gets mad that I ditched her or whatever.
