I'm 17/f and and I am having trouble finding a new job in my area. I have cashier/phone/front counter and customer service experience, so I was hoping i could get a new job with those skills, just not quite sure where. I want to work at a laid back place, nothing involving TOO many people. I prefer not to work at any typical teen place like.. food places, grocery stores, or movies. I want more of an office job, but im not sure what businesses hire people my age. I can type pretty fast (140+ wpm) and i know more about computers than most people. Any suggestions?

Im applying for a new job and it asks me my reason for leaving my last job. The reason I left was because I wanted to move onto something else, possibly higher paying and something better. How would I word that?

i'm turning 16 soon and i was wondering what are some jobs that hire 16 yr olds that arnt too public...lol i mean like not mcdonalds where everyone goes. thanks =)

babysitting

Is there any way of convincing my mom to let me babysit? She says she wants me to wait awhile. She said she would consider it though. Anyway, I would be babysitting with my friend. So she may be more comfortable about that. So how can I convince her to let me? And any ideas about how I could spread my services (if she says yes)?

i need some suggestions on how to earn some extra money. I don't really like to babysit but i do anyway and thats not really cuttin' it. I really want to buy a few new things, but i don't know how i can pay for it all! any suggestions?

when i get older i would like to become a model. many of my friends have told me that they think im pretty and i dont mean to sound conceited but i think im kinda pretty. im 5'5, i have brown hair and brown eyes.i love attention!!!!does anyone know of any good modeling websites that i can send my pics in to?thank you!!!!any ideas or comments are greatly appreciated.

i want to become a doctor that delivers babies when im older but at age 16 i need a starting out job to make money. i want to work at jambe juice or cold stone or someting to earn a little cash. but i dont think those are the bestjobs for me if i want to be that kind of doctor. what should my starting out job be? i rate really high

work permits

Hey. Does anyone know where you would get a work permit? I know I could get one at my school, but since it's summer, I couldn't get one because school is closed obviously and no one is working. I'm seventeen years old, and I got a job at the UPS store, but I need a work permit and don't know how to get one since school it out. Thanks!

I've worked for Walgreens for 3 years, for my third year I transferred to a different store close to my school, I haven't had much respect from my boss but I keep trying to make things work.
I got an internship in my field for monday-fridays, so I told my boss @ walgreens that I still want to work saturdays and sundays were ok but I want a day off since summer classes were starting. He said it'd be no problem and that I won't have to work any sundays.
My boss has been scheduling me full weekends for almost over a month now, between my internship and walgreens I haven't had a day off in 5 weeks! I got other responsibilites too such as school, budgeting money, laundry, etc. I have been trying to talk to my boss ...

ok my boyfriend was recently caught making out with my best friend...well me and my bf wanted a private relationship to avoid other people knowing, he wanted it for some reason and now i know why! he's been cheating on me for my best friend! i am so hurt, you have NO IDEA! and i know it's not my friends fault but its so awkward being with her now..please what do i do! Hi, we are 13 and we need a job, so we can get money so we can buy our own clothes because our parents make us pay for our clothes because they think that we are mature enough to earn our own money, but in reality, we dont know how to get money. Please give us ideas for jobs. Please dont tell us to talk to our parents because thats dumb and if you havent thought about it yet, we have tried that so dont be stupid. PLEASE HELP!! WE RATE HIGH!!

BASICALLY- just go online and look for jobs that pay well and the benifets are good alos, make it a job that has hours between 6:30 am to 5:45 pm

I love both fashion and also writing, and I was wondering if a good job choice for me would be the assisting editor of a magazine such as Teen People, Vogue, Seventeen, or another magazine resembling such. What work would I have to do before I can reach the editor job? What college majors would I have to take?
