My best friend keeps lying to me

I really love hanging out with her, she's like my only friend, but I'm tired of the lies. First she lies about a boyfriend that is clearly not good for her (never met, doesn't know much about it, he is out of the country until later this year), she chats online to tons of people she doesn't know and I can tell you for a fact it's having a bad influence on her. She tells me her sister is going to call (I know her sister), but I know it's not her sister because she leaves my bedroom and goes down the hall to another room and shuts the door. She tells me she doesn't drink but I know she's been so drunk off her a** she was sick for two days. Do I have a right to be super upset? Should I stop being friends with her? Also, I'm almost 19 and she's almost 20.

Best Friend/Love of My Life

I'm 15 and last year my head teachers son an I got really close from when we went to Thailand. He is a year younger than me and from after that point we were inseparable. I started to have feelings for him so he told me he was going on a date and I got jealous and said something mean about the girl. I apologised immediately but then after that he kept on ignoring my texts and didn't want to meet up with me any more. Eventually, he told me to leave him alone but I didn't really think it would be permanent as I had other things on my mind. When I realised I missed him I tried to contact him over and over again but he just shut me down until he finally told me that he wanted nothing to do with m...

my attitude depends on the kind of people getting along with me or people i get along with...
but sometimes it irritates me and just thought
"why do i have to be not myself when dealing with these people? what will i get for faking myself...?
i'm tired faking my smile and holding back my thoughts and my real feelings. why can't i just be myself?"
what should i do?

However lately I've had a lot on my mind.. For one my dad's health is getting worse everyday and there's no hope of him getting better because everything is a big joke to him... He just found out he had diabetes. My sis has cancer and 5 babies... My mom is as stressed as I am and she works 50-60 hours a week so she's not really here for me to talk to about stuff. I'm in college and I work part time and that's my only outlet.. I don't have tons of friends, but I'm just in over my head... Help, I need somebody.. HELP, not just anybody!!

Friend is being rude

ok so i came back from a school field trip yesterday and when we got there she started being a little rude to me. As the day went on she got worse. When we got back to school she was completely ignoring me. Then today I came to school with a majpr sunburn from yesterday. When i got to school she wouldnt stop hitting it. I told her to stop many, many times but she would just ignore me and hurt me more. Later on today she was eavesdropping on me and my friend and i was saying how my sunburn on my left shoulder hurts really bed so she comes and hits me x3 harder. I snap on her and start crying but she continues hitting me. Can anybody give me any advice. She has been my best friend for almost 3 years now. Thanks by the way im 12 years old and a girl she is also 12 but 1 month younger.

Boy best friend.

I have a boy best friend, he has been my best friend for the last 3 years. We've in secondary school now and he's known this girl like a year and half.. and they've recently become close. now apparently they're 'best friends'.. I feel hurt, I feel replaced and I feel like I'm second best. I know this sounds childish but I do feel hurt. this girl isn't even nice, he's going to end up getting hurt and she's done this to me before with my life long best friend who I rarely see anymore. I don't want to say anything to him about it because I know he'll tell her what I say. I love him, he's like a brother to me and I can't let him go. He means to much to me. I just wish that I wasn't always second choice.

My best friend told me he doesn't want to be friends anymore. We have been involved like we made out and gone to second base. But then he went to San Antonio. I had a really big crush on him for the longest time. Then he tells me about this girl Jessica whom he likes and use to work with. And i tell him about this guy ii met named Shawn and i try to be a good sport, and tell him i am happy for him, but i was mad. Then he says to call him, and i did, but he doesn't answer, then he calls me back. He tells me i am special to him and i am like his twin, because we're so alike in many ways. Well the next day we had a phone conversation about how I went to someone's house and got high with them, and i was scared, and he seemed to be understanding...

My friend is still in high school, she's gotten into smoking and she's always been a bit dramatic, but it's not too much of a problem. Her parents basically treat her like crap and her mom has proven that she cares more about their dog then my friend, who has really bad emotional problems. They don't have much money either. Well, about a year ago, my friend fell for this guy and she adores him. I personally don't favor him... He's on a restraining order, he gets high/drunk, takes her to illegal parts, he's seriously bipolar, he takes medications. The list goes on, but she can't stand to be away from him and I think that's finally driven him crazy because he told her he was moving out...

How to make new friends?

I am an adult, married for 18 years, work full time, and have my own business, and a family which requires the rest of my time during the week. However, there are some Saturday or Sunday afternoons I would like to meet up with friends for coffee, a movie or other outing.
I only have two friends, and they are busy like me, but I try to make time for them, but they don't reciprocate. In fact, one of them is just plain rude about not returning calls and such, I am very irritated. I don't have time to volunteer or join any groups, clubs etc. So in light of this info, how would one make new friends?

Okay, I'm having an movie night on the 18th and my boyfriend and I have been planning this for about a week. We're really excited to get our gang of friends together again to just hang out, but recently, one of our friends, D, got a new boyfriend after she broke up with her awesome one about two months ago. concerned about my best friends

so my two best friends are turning into sluts. every weekend we go out together and they sleep with a different guy. sometimes they don't even use protection. they're getting an awful reputation. they're also sleeping with guys who have girlfriends. i've talked to them about it and they just say they know what they're doing and that they're careful. i'm really concerned about them because they have always been there for me and are the nicest and best friends i could ever ask for (don't really feel like elaborating but they really are true friends). I just don't know what to do :/ I also don't want people to think I'm a slut because I'm best friends with them (even though I'm a virgin hah).

well, i'm not a very shy person i'm actual rather popular who gets along with basically everyone. i don't mean that to sound cocky.
I am ALWAYS under the assumption that I'm intruding or imposing or just plain irritating the people that I am around or talking to. I'm always apologizing. This applies mostly to upperclassmen it seems. I think I just overthink things way to much..
what can I do about this?

hi , i've been trying to find a good soong to sing in the talent show for my school with my bestfriend & we just can't because almost all the songs that are duets are for a couple & we are most definetly not a couple , as a matter a fact we are both femals .. so i was wondering if you could please give me some ideas on what song to sing thats a good duet about friendship or a good song about life , something that people wont fall asleep to (perferably ab upbeat song or if not something that will give people goosbumps , but noyhing boring .. pleaaase ) while listening to it . thaaanks (:

Well my friend Is lieing alot to me and asking me for money and say you pay me back never has. She always says that shes going to get some thing like before she said she's getting an ipad and iPhone when she isnt. Im really sick of it. And before she asked me for money so far i have given her about $20;00 or more in the last month and says she'll pay me back but never has. In class she always copies me with worksheets, projects and even the way i dress and do my hair! She copied me in a project and said that she did it first when i did and i had to do it all over again. And she gets all the attention when she copies me me im so sick of it. I know these are really not big problems but im really sick of it! I need help for her not to do it no more. :)

My best friend and I have been friends since 2nd grade (we are now 21). We stayed friends through the years, even when I moved to a different state for 6 years. I moved back to the same state as her in August. We are still best friends but I have noticed a lot is different. Since I moved back, she has had 2 different boyfriends. The first one, she would always blow me off for him. Now the second one is a bigger issue. Although I am not the one dating him I dont understand what she wants with him anymore. overcoming shyness

I'm shy and it bothers me. I'm not shy around ppl I'm comfortable with. I get quiet when I'm tired or annoyed. also if I'm not comfortable with u. I feel like I bore certain ppl. Yet they don't know me really and I just don't open up. It's hard to. So any advice
