Usually, when a Scholarship Application or a University asks for a one page essay, is it implied as double spaced or not?

How can I better prepare myself for college?

Hi. I am 14 and I'm homeschooled. I am a getting more and more nervous about college each day. I keep thinking "What if I'm not prepared?" or "I'm scared." I dont know how to keep calm and prepare myself. Please Help! Thanks.

i want to go to comm. college for a year then transfer to a university but does it look bad to the university that ive been to community college? like-- would they think i didnt get into a university?

im in grade 11 , im 16. ive wanted to be a vet since grade 7 , but it seems so boring ya know , now i think and research careers, i look at exiting jobs , or so i think , ive looked at pilots, airforce , army , cop , i want to go to university but what courses do i take if idont no wat i want to do in life? How do i find out wat to do? is there a rush? i just dont want to pick a career spend 10 years of schooling and hate the evryday stuff ya no, i also dont no wat im good at honestly, i have no hobbies i like to hang out with friends , tv , ect... i feel like i have no talent, wat should i do?

My sister is in 11th grade and she needs answers to some of these questions. She's taking physics and I never did so I was no help to her. If you guys know how to do these could you please reply? Thanks!
1. If you average 62mi/hr how long will it take you to make a trip that is 85 miles long?

2.You get pushed in the hall and drop your books. It falls for .35 seconds. How high did you drop it from?

class vs ap test

In college...
1. If you pass a class but fail the AP exam, which is calculated in your GPA? Do you have to retake the AP exam?
2. If you fail a class but pass the AP exam, which is calculated in your GPA? Do you have to retake the class?
3. If you get a B in a class and a C on the AP exam, which is calculated in your GPA?

where can i get a list of classes required to take in hs to get into college. im looking for a general list but im mainly looking at penn state. i want to become a kindergarden teacher which basically means after my junior year i really dont need sciences but my mom wants me to check anyways to make sure i dont screw myself over with stuff like that!

what are typically the required classes of college? (like how many maths, histories, englishes, and sciences do you have to take to graduate?)
also, does college care if you "skip around" with your classes? for example, taking only a math class and 2 electives one semester? basically can you take any class whenever you want lol

I am so confused about what I want with my life. Well, I know a little. For one, I want to finish high school (of course). After that I just don't know. I LOVE romance languages, and want to become fluent in all of them (Spanish, Italian, French, Romanian, Latin, Portuguese) as well as German and Arabic. Languages are like my hobby, my life. So maybe I can become a professional translator or something.
College is a big factor though. My life has really changed this year, along with my thoughts. I don't know if I want to go to college. I've taken some AP classes, and if college is anything like them, then that's just too much stress to deal with as well as maintaining relationships and keeping a steady job. I know that college...

i have a final coming up in my college physics class and we are allowed a page of notes (both sides) rather than writting it up myself im trying to find a kind of quick reference guide online, but everytime i try to search for one im taken to different amazon.com type of sites trying to sell me a book. would anyone know where i can find one?

Contemplating what field of medicine to pursue

Hi! I recently got out of the military. I want to start my schooling, but don't what to major in. I know a job in the medical field would give me great satisfaction. Of course there are so many jobs and specialties to choose from. I want to ultimately pursue a career as a dermatologist. Because the schooling is extensive, and standard for grades high, it can be intimidating. I considered a registered nursing degree. This is a popular profession nowadays and the programs are VERY competetive. I don't know what to do.

I'm a junior in high school, and to tell you the truth, I want to get through college as quickly and easily as possible, mainly because 1 I have a job and 2 I want to really start my life. In order to do this, what kind of classes should I take? What kind of college should I go to? Any other tips?
*I am not made of money so don't recommend top universities or anything please
