Im 13 and my parents wont let me have a cell phone. They say its just because ill lose it. Is that completely unfair or completely fair?

i'm looking into buying a new phone. i want something that plays music, has a good battery life. i'm looking into the htc amaze. can you tell me what type of phone u have and how you like it. also how much is the bill for the month. thanks.

Evo or iPhone

Hey, I am a Sprint user and for as long as I have had a phone, all of sprint's sucked. On October 14th, the iPhone 4s is coming out. I had just gotten my HTC Evo 4g, I like the big screen, I like the applications, the kick stand and the amazing 8 megapixel camera. The only thing I HATE about the Evo is the battery, it lasts for so little time, if I play games, it lasts shorter. For anyone who might be reading this who has the iPhone, please let me know if the battery lasts a long time. I am going to Vienna, Austria for 11 days in March, so I would have had my Evo for 6 months by then. My dad was ready for an upgrade and I wasn't when I wanted the Evo, so I took his. By March, I would be ready for my upgrade meaning the iPhone should be able...

How do at&t 4g phones work, exactly?

im about to go and upgrade my phone. im getting a smart phone,and i know that to have one, i'll have to pay a data plan, which im fine with. but i've heard that i would have to pay even more to have a 4g phone.
is this true?
im buying the phone online, but will i have to pay an activation fee or have to pay the data plan right then when i take the phone to the store to activate it?

Evo 4G Messaging: Getting iPhone smileys on my android phone

Lately, I have been obsessed with the fun smileys that the iphone has. I was able to get them by downloading ChompSMS and emoji. I love using them and haven't had a problem yet but I am debating on turning the notifications off on my native messaging because everytime I get a text, it tells me twice because I have two messaging systems. Is that okay to do? If chomp stops working for some reason, I will still be able to go back to my native messaging source, right?

HELP!!! IPHONE 3G Water Damage!!!

Ok my iphone 3g fell out of my pocket into a bucket of water! it was in there for all of three seconds. I stuck it in rice about five hours later cuz i was at school. Now about 12 hours later its turning on and the brightness is screwed. How bad of damage could i have. Everything seems to work fine. I just cant get it to turn off with out automaticly turning back on. Also I dont want my parents to know they will flip!

blackberry picture issues

Hey i have a Blackberry Curve and when i take a picture and save it, then go into media- pictures, its not there i have to highlight the picture button click the "blackberry menu" button then go to explore-device memory-home-user-pictures and i can find it in there with the rest of my pictures. It's just a hassle, does anybody know why it's not showing up in actual pictures folder. That i have to explore and go through all the steps to find it. Thanks for the help everyone.

I want to buy an iPhone 5 and sell my iPhone 4. I don't want to sell my current phone until I have a new one in my hand. When will be the best time to sell / buy the iPhone? How much will the iPhone 4 be worth when the iPhone 5 comes out? It's $400 on Amazon for a used one and mine is brand new.

TextPlus outside of US

I'm in Europe for vacation over the summer, but I live in the US. I have the Iphone 4. My phone still works internationally, but i'm not using it as much because it is really expensive. I haven't talked to some of my friends in a while and would really love to talk to them. I got the app TextPlus which allows you to text other numbers for free (so it claims). I am just really confused on how this all works.. I'm outside of the US- will it cost me money to text using the app?
My dad tried to explain it to me but i'm still confused. He said as long as i have WiFi, I can use it and it won't cost money. But he said if I don't have WiFi (and something about data roaming???) then it will be expensive.

Can I store more than one backup of my iPhone 4?

As far as I know, iTunes only stores (or gives me access to) one backup for an iPhone - the latest one.
Right now, though, my phone's being really glitchy and I was wondering if there was any way to keep multiple backups of it. I really don't want to lose everything that I have on it now, but I also want to see what would happen if I completely reset the phone and started anew.

How do I get a new iPhone?

I have an iPhone 4 that came in the mail July 16th or 17th of last year, so the warranty should still be good.
Lately, the home button has been a little off. Sometimes, it doesn't respond and I have to press it three or four times to actually work.
Also, there's been a few minor issues with the camera (the flash didn't work at all one day, then resumed working).
Are any of these grounds for a replacement iPhone?
If so, how do I get a new one? Do I need a receipt or can they just look up my model number or somethign to see when I bought it? Do I go to the apple store or AT&T store? Also, I probably won't be able to prove that these problems happened, because the camera malfunctions sporadically, as does the home button.

well since im a guy who likes phones i bought the lg optimus t and thought i loved it until i realized it really sucks(3.2" touch screen , 600 MHz processer and just really old) so i looked online and saw the samsung indulge and love it so does anyone know how i can get a samsung indulge for trading in a lg optimus please i love it so much (me and my gf have a understanding about that)

My aunt keeps getting Facebook messages on her phone from people she doesn't know. She's told them they have the wrong number but it doesn't stop. She doesn't have a Facebook. How do we get this to stop? Thank you answerers
