Teachers are talking behind back and telling my mom incorrect things?

Okay, so I'm a young teen and male. I have what's known as rumination disorder. It's not a choice eating disorder like anorexia/bulimia; it's where food involuntarily comes up. It's been listed on my health form.
And yet the nurse sent my mom an email saying I haven't been eating but "one bite" of my lunch which is a load of crap because I eat all of my crackers and sometimes cookies if my mom packs them. She also said that I go into the bathroom with food in my mouth. Uhhhh...no? I don't even use the bathrooms at school, the only hall pass I've used all year was to go to my locker.
I know they're just concerned about me but I'm ticked that they went to my mom first and are apparently having some so...

I have this Case Programming Assignment, Im having trouble with. It's in VS Express 2013 Net Framework. I have to make where a user puts in the dog's age, then the program displays the dogs age and the age in human years. when the user puts in the dogs age 9. the label says Your dog is 9 years old and 63 in people years.
Its been a week and I can't for the life of me figure it out!! would be most grateful!

how to teach a six year old English as a second language...

Hello Forum,
I have a student who I am teaching English as a second language. His first language is spanish. He doesn't speak, write or read English. How can I teach this child English? I tried the Callan Method and that really didn't works since he can't really read the words on the board. What method can I use to teach him how to read and pronounce the alphabet?

how come They don't teach self defense in school

This is something we will actually need! Soccer and jump rope may be fun, but defense is important. We could be threatened on the street, challenged,etc. Us girls need it the most. We are in risk of rape, domestic violence,etc. In gym boys do wrestling for a unit while girls do yoga. I have 3 arguments against that
1. Downward dog isn't gonna protect you from sexual harassment.
2. Girls need to know how to fight more whether society likes it or not, since we can't rely on natural strength
3. It won't even help boys defend themselves because say they are being jumped, by 3 or more guys 1 on 1 combat will be useless and you'll need to do more then to hold them down for 3 seconds to be able to get away and alert the cops...

too stressed about a class

I signed up for a film analysis class because I thought it would be fun and it sounded interesting. I have already missed the first class because I signed up late and I have missed out on so much work. I read through the syllabus and it is a lore more intense than I imagined. There is about 100 pages of reading to do before each class and the professor seems very strict. And most of the people taking it are cinematography majors, which I am not. Unfortunately it is after the add/drop term, so I cannot just easily drop it. What should I do??? Stick with it, or withdrawal?

Am I being childish for wearing a Minnie Mouse backpack in the 8th grdae?

HI! I'm going to the 8th grade in 3 days. A while ago my sister & my parents went school shopping. I've seen this nice & very cute Minnie mouse backpack. I wanted it badly, so my dad bought it for me. Before he bought it though he said (this look childish. Are you sure you want this? Your too old for this). I didn't care, I still wanted the bag. But just this night I had a conversation with my very best friend. I told her about my book bag. And she said ( what grade are you in?! A Minnie mouse bag, really? Your not in kindergarten) That's when I really had second thoughts. But I really like the bag. I thinks its adorable. Am I being too worried of what people are thinking about me? I just need someone's advice. Please Help!

Hello, I am 19, female and a junior in college. At the end of my sophomore year, my best friend and roommate of two years, decided that she wanted to go for a higher housing position and be an SSC which means she would be the leader of a dorm building for freshman students. She got the position and that meant she had her own room, plus I have a job at home that I like. So, I decided since she was going to be on her own that I would commute and work more hours at home while saving money from the costs it takes to live at college and the meal plan. Now, I've been working at this job for a year and everything is changing, I am getting so sick of the job and my best friend could no longer hold her position as an SSC because her gpa did not meet...

how do I help to improve my brothers difficulties?

Ok, so, my brother will be going to middle school very very soon, so I really need help to help him improve his difficulties within 2 months. He really has a lot :
- immaturity
- reading comprehension
- keeping his concentration
- writing (formulating his phrases)
- getting ideas
- perseverance
...
He's very smart, but when it comes to school, its as if he erases all the strategies he has in his head and everything. I think its principally beacause of the language. In our school, our main language if french, which im not so good in my self.
I just want him to improve. So, can somebody please give me some activities or games or whatever that'll help him improve but at the same time having fun... after all, it is summer.

I want to become a exchange student, how do I do it?

I am Canadian and I want to become a exchange student. I want to go to either 1) United States (preferably L.A., New York, Boston) 2)Europe (England, perhaps France) 3) Australia. I want to go for maybe a whole school year. My parents suggest I go to the school guidance counselor to ask what places they recommend and how it works as soon as school starts which I will. Though what is the process of becoming a exchange student, the criteria needed? are the hosting families thoroughly checked out? also is it likely I get to choose where I want to go? I do a lot of research and I don't know if their is many who will send me from canada to the United States. The US is my first option, which companies send me to US? thanks

i cheated and im scared!

I did the dumbest thing and cheated on my exam and got caught, we were allowed to bring an outline of our essay for the exam but i also brought an extra piece of paper. When our teacher entered the class and checked our papers i hid mine and he didnt see it. After a while the substitute noticed me with an extra piece of paper and after the exam she said she wanted to hand in all my papers. I just lied to my father everything went well. I'm not scared to get suspended but im scared to disappoint my father..What should i do? I have 2 more days of school and then the whole summer with him until i go to boarding school! Help please..
P.S im in 8th grade

Hi i came from philippines so my language is tagalog.I am sooo very confused about the English grammar especially the present,past and future tense. For example: is,was,been,drink,drank,drunk,ring,rang,rung,sing,sang,sung,swim,swam,swum.etc. And many many more. I think i am going to memorize all of these to make my grammar correct right? Hmm i haven't known people who can teach me on how to speak in english face to face and someone to talked with. All of my friends are tagalog language and they are not good in speaking in english fast too! It takes a minute or an hour every word and if they don't know how to use the grammar well they just forget about it! And say "my nose bleeds" hahaha. Can you give me some an advice to make my English speaking becomes faster?

Ok so I'm just gonna summarize everything.
1. There's someone that texted my ex's girlfriend something really foul and she thinks it was me.
2. I barely know her so why would she accuse me.
3. She's stupid for not analyzing the situation and jumping into conclusions and start a fight.
4. She recently posted a status that really offended me. I was tagged in the post.
5. She's really popular so I don't know how to deal with her.
6. But she's only strong when there are a lot of people with her.
7. She's stupid for not finding out who it really was texting her.

I am devastated right now. I'm about to graduate college this weekend and I feel absolutely heartbroken. I love this school, the people, my teachers, the program so much, it is everything to me. At home I've always had a bad relationship with my parents and I don't really have close friends. My one best friend will be away for the whole year next year so I won't get to spend time with him.
Every time I return home for breaks I am miserable at home and am always in a war with my parents. The feeling of being home brings back so many bad memories. I don't know how to control this. When I'm not in school I have no outlet to apply the skills I'm good at. When I'm home for break I'm always comforted by the fact that I will return back to...

Procrastination

I have a serious problem with procrastination.
Sometimes I'll clean the whole house rather than touch a project or assignment that needs to be finished. I feel as if I physically cannot do the work. I know I need to do the work, I want to do the work, but I can't. I don't want to sound as if I'm whining, and I know I have to 'suck it up and just do it' but I was wondering if there was a way I could ease into it and not make every project so daunting? I'm stuck in this perpetual state of stress which does not motivate me to do my work and rather discourages me more than anything. As days pass by I alternate between seriously stressed anxiety and just not caring at all. Any advice would be appreicated. I want to start forming goo...
