babysitting my cousin

I was babysitting my cousin all last week becouse my cousin died so that my other cousin could go to her brothers funeral and she paid me $20.00 and i tried not to take it but she insisted that i did so i took the money and now i feel guilty what should i do?

i just got my first real babysitting job.. i have babysat family and stuff but i have never gotten paid.
I have to watch two kids.. a one year old boy and four year old girl. and i was wondering what anyone who babysits gets paid. i just want to know if I am getting paid well or if i am getting screwed.
soo if any babysitters want to tell me how much they get paid, or what parents pay that would be great. thanks in advanced!

I have been babysitting for my step mom's home daycaring service for 2 summers now. A couple of weeks ago I told her that I would work for her. Last week an offer came to my doorstep, someone my sister works for neeeded a baysitter. My step mom gives me $12 and day while the other #30 - $40 a day. I am going to high school next year and I am planning to save my money for college. I told my step mom that I can work for her the days that I am off and she got upset. My dad said that I should have stuck with my step mom... but this isn't all for me... this is for my furture of dreaming to go to vet college and become a vet... Now my dad wants to talk to me... what should I do???

I will be around kids all summer be babysitting and sometimes I dont really want to play but i do enjoy it. and i am adult that look like a 14 year old i am cool with it. thing sometimes i like do my own things let them know they do what they want to do and i am cool with they want hang out with me but let them know i am not really a kid kid lol. but i don't mind but how i show that i am cool with it but not in a immture way,

hi, ok i love babies! people always want me too babysit their kids all the time. i do always babysit them. but some of them dont pay at all. so the question is how do i get them to start paying?:)

So I'm taking a babysitters course, and the last lesson is tomorrow. I basically am good at everything, the price, how to babysit, etc. But the problem, is . . . How do I babysit little kids? In my house? Their house? My parents are pretty strict about going to peoples houses, same with our house. It can't be too far either. I really wanna make money because I'm pretty low on cash. Where do I babysit them? and if it helps, I live in BC.

but I dont know exactly what to put on it or what to say
should i put that we are going to split the money and put how much we would wanna charge?
or do the parents of the children do that?

Okay, my next door neighbors have two kids. They are 5 and 9 years old. No offence to them, but I really don't like them. They are really annoying. Whenever we have a day off from school on like snow days or random hollidays where we don't have school on friday or thursday, they ALWAYS ask me to babysit. I have babysat for them like 10 times and I hate it. It keeps getting worse and worse. And it's not even that I don't like them, it's that I don't even want to be there and the day seems to get longer and longer since I have to babysit all day. We are not having school this Friday and I think that they are going to come over and ask me to babysit soon. Can anyone think of a good excuse to say if you dont want to babysit because i don't want...

how much to charge?

my boyfriend wants to become a nanny starting this summer...he is from california so things are little bit more high payed there...he doesnt know how much to charge...he found a family with a 2 year old and 4 year old and both are enrolled at a daycare. he would work 10 hour days, mon-fri and the kids would be at school mon, wed, and fridays till 12:30... how much should he charge every two weeks as a set salary? please only answer if you have experience with this type of thing :) thanks!

I am 15 years old and I have 3 nephews and I have 2 neices and 1 on the way so I have babysitting experience my 1 nephue has special needs and needs meds and stuff so I can deal with that. I want to know if you guys think I am able to babysit and I think if people would hire me thank you.

I volunteer at an elementry school...

I'm fourteen years old, and I volunteer at the elementry school, with the after school children.
Lots of them seem really attached to me, but I'm worried they think of me more as there playmate... When I tell them to go stand in line, they won't listen to me, only the adults.
I want to be there friend, I love kids. But, I also need them to listen to me. :)
Any advice is great. And thanks in advanced.

Well, me and my friends babysit, and the kis is the wrost you could possibly ask for. If he is not in the room and you cjange the channel he comes in and thorws the biggest fit, and if you don't give him wah the wants he has a temper tantrum. How do we stop him from being so untamed???

I babysit 3 kids sometimes. The mom loves me, im serious. She buys me things, etc. But, what can I do to get the kids to like me. There are 2 girls and a boy. The boy is 7 and really into the army. The next oldest is a 4 year old. And the baby is 2, and boy does she act like a baby. If you tell her dont do something, like dont touch the lamp, she smile and pretend to touch it. Its funny, but after a while.... So, i am accepting any advice.

i really like this family im babysitting for they pay me $5 an hour. i relly want them to keep using me what can i do to make them like me.me and their child get along great they're always saying how much she likes me babysitting her what can i do to get them to like me even more?

I'm 13/f, turning 14 in June. I've never really baby sat before, like as an actual job. But I'm good with kids, and I think the safety of a child is first priority, I love kids so I'd never want anything to happen to a child. Well, me and my friend decided that tomorrow we were going to put flyers around her neighborhood (full of little kids). But could anyone give me any advice? How do you actually get the job? Do you need to write up a little resume, or talk to the person before you babysit? And how much should I ask for? I really want to get a new iPod touch and some other things by the end of the summer hopefully if I start now. Any other tips for emergencies? What's a best way to get the child to calm down? What if I don't know what to...
