Incense/Herbs

My boyfriend is 21.
My boyfriend has recently bought something from the tobacco store, and I am very concerned about it. It's in a pouch, and it looks like marijuana, more or less. On the cover it says it's incense, and it's called lotus flower, or something like that. On the back it says it is not meant for human consuption, but my boyfriend has been smoking it and claims it gives him a 15 or 20 minute high. I know it is wrong, obviously. So that's not what I am asking. What I am asking is what is the short and long term consequences of doing this? He thinks it's better than smoking marijuana, but I really beg to differ.

slang terms from a british novel

i'm writing a paper on slang terms from a british novel we read. one word i found was "tussle" and when i look it up it says it means a fight. but the sentence in the book was along the lines of "apart from being alone for 3 years i had a drunken tussle with a guy here or there" and thats a girl speaking so i assumed it meant that she would hook-up with guys not fight them. any idea? any british people who know what it means?

Why do you I feel really lost and unstable???
For the past year and a half or so, Ive been going in and out of jobs...Ive had really bad luck finding a job that I really enjoy doing and settling into it.. I'm smart, creative, ambitious, intelligent and full of enthusiasm and nothing seems to be working for me... Because of this I'm obviously finding that I don't have any sort of routine in place as I don't have any money and I'm genuinely confused in what direction I'm going into... My energy has been very low and my partner is always criticizing me on this.. sometimes he's not the best when it comes to laying it down to me nicely and supportively and instead says it in a critical sort of way, which then makes me defensive a...

This may be a bit long, Bare with me.
As long as I could remember I've always had trouble showing emotions, When someone gives me a gift I don't really know how to show appreciation or say thank you in a way I appreciate it. When someone hurts themselves, I have this nasty tendency to laugh...not because I think it's funny but I don't know how to react. If someone greets me with a hello..I act awkward and smile and say "Hi" under my breath which most of the time you can't even hear it. In a crowded area, I'm always the one to sit nearest to the door looking for a way out and I would prefer not to talk to people and I have friends but most of the time I don't really feel like seeing them instead I'd rather ju...

i naturally have a hoarse voice often, usually in the mornings and sometimes even in the afternoons. My throat often feels dry and even when it's not, I often have a hoarse voice.
How do I prevent my voice from getting hoarse and low??

Drivers license.

Okay, so, on my drivers license it says that it expires on my birthday because I'll be 18. Well, here's the thing. I'm going to be moving out and renting a house within the end of the summer FOR SURE. I know what house it is and every thing. So my question is am I going to need to put down my soon-to-be address on my license or my current one? and if I need to put my current one, when do I need to go back to change my address on my new license?

weirdness when i'm drunk

i'm 17/f and whenever i drink with someone, i kiss them. i don't know where this comes from, but it always happens. i was at my boyfriend's house drinking, and we made out but i thought nothing of it since we've been together for a while. then i was at my close friend's house and kissed her, which was pretty odd, but i just figured it was because we were close and i felt lonely. but then the other night a friend that i had recently started hanging out with came over and we got drunk and i kissed her. not only does this weird me out because its with whomever i'm with at the moment, but also because i'm not bisexual or lesbian. does anyone know where this behavior might come from, or is it just regular drunk behavior? thanks

I met this guy a few days ago, Joey. we have a lot in common. He's my friend's ex, Lucy. He has a girlfriend. I had a dream that we were outside of our schools and we ran up to each other and I jumped on him and we were just staring at each other and our faces were hella close and we were both smiling and I remember feeling butterflies in my stomach. Then we walked into our class. One of mine and lucys mutual friends was there and she was hella mad at me. She started saying how She was gonna tell Lucy then Joey came up and put his arms around me and we kissed and then I woke up but I woke up in a really good mood and I really miss him now :/

During the summer, I watched a Lifetime movie that I really like.
It was about a woman who moved into her recently murders famous aunts home. She then soon desicoverd clues to her aunts murder. Along the way she makes friends with her neighbor across the street and I believe they end up dating at the end.
During this she spends her days fixing up her aunts home. While at night the murderer sneeks around her home and vandilizes things.
I could have sworn Brittney Murphy played the girl in this movie.
But I couldn't find anything of it in her bioghraphy.
Anyone know this movie?
Anyway, eventually she realizes the murder was a neighbor down the street

this might be hard to follow.

well my computer recently crashed and we lost all the itunes files. when i redownloaded itunes on the new computer and plugged my ipod in, only the songs i had purchased showed up in the library. however i have alot of songs that i got from cds and what not so i was wondering if i plug my ipod in again will it put the rest of the songs into the library? or will it put the library of songs i have now onto my ipod and i will lose all the unpurchased songs? pleaseeee help meee. it would really mean alot

Outgoing and Successful

Alright... here's the deal. I am an 18 year old girl who just had her last day of high school. I am going to college in the fall. I have a major issue...a problem with myself i guess you could say.
My mother is so completely outgoing and talkative while my father is very quiet and often too nice. Being their daughter I am a little like both, but I am much more like my father. And I hate it.
I have moments, mostly when I am out of school on the street or at random parties where I am very outgoing and talk to people and make great first impressions. Certain people at school that know me think I am so outgoing and open and out there. So I know I have that in me, I just don't know why it hides more than it comes ...
