Track

I'm in track and I do the hurdles. And I made it to states ( i got 15.07)at the regular meet but when I practice i get like 17.00. And i have no clue why I don't do good at practice. Like a try and stuff like that but i dont know it's weird. Does anyone have advice to be better at hurdles or anything?<33Kate

my 11 year old sister wants to play a sport. She loves sports but she doesnt know which one is right for her. Please leave info on camps for summer, sport ideas, and why they rock and what type of people there for. Exclude basketball and soccer

I have a really athletic body and such. Ive always loved sports, I'm just not sure which one is right for me. Actually, I'm writing for my sister who is 11, and she needs help by picking one out, It's kinda late to start, but shes really interested. Please leave information about camps, sports you like, and why they are great. She wants to catch up in summer. Exclude Basketball soccer and volleyball

i have an 11 year old sister who asked me to write here. she has alaways been really atletic, but has never found a sport just for her. can you guys please write abouts sports you like, what type of people they are for, and some info on it. please exclude soccer and basketball

im selling this really nice toy machine deck (dark star wheels, ruckus trucks + some weird bearing i have never seen before called rocke) and i am not sure how much i should ask for it. what do u guys think would be reasonable?

Ive played volleyball for like 7 years. I played on a travel team for 4 years. Well my best friend startd playing volleyball last year. She's about 6'0 and coaches like her because shes soo tall. She played on the JV team last year. I'm not as tall..but i am still pretty good. Well the other day the varsity coach asked her to try out for vball and come to the varsity camp. I was shocked..our varsity team is like state champs..and she asked her to play! I know when ppl find out that shes made varsity and has only played for 1 yr and me playing vball for 7 is on JV again. How do i deal with this..i wish i played varsity..wat do i do?

dance team question

i'm auditioning for drill team officer, possibly head sergent and i need to choreograph to two songs. i need a song for a jazz routine and a prop routine (where u have a chair, ladder, cane, or some other prop incorperated into your dance) and i need help thinking of songs. i want the jazz routine to be very poppy and bouncy. kinda like cierra 1 2 step, but i don't want to use that song. but for the prop routine i still don't know what i want. suggestions for it are open. i rate high. i just want ideas and song titles, thanks for the oppinions.

I have a track meet friday, and last time i had one, i fell! and couldnt run for the rest of that meet. Well, like i said above, I have a Track Meet Friday, and I am soo scared!!! and I am so nervous, i have been since monday, no joke! and i have been thinking about it since then! i know it sounds crazy, but it sure is true!! SO, what are some things that i can do to distract myself from being nervous? I have a fear of falling too, i fell in the open 100M dash! and i have to do it again tomorrow, and also the open 200M dash! and i am fine w/ doing the 200, its the 100 i am nervous about. when i fell i dontknow what happened, and i only had scratches on my legs, not my hands or anything. so, i think i was breathing funny because i was nervou...

yeah, i know this is a kinda dumb question, and you moderators, go ahead and rate me low, but please just give me the chance to get a FEW answers...i cant find anything online!!!

ok, i play paintball and i had just recently gotten a sponser for our speedball team, its a local paintball feild named Fungunz. I was woundering from all people who play paintball or even sponser them: What should i expect from the sponser? What kinds of things do they expect from us?

Another question: i have a Tippmann 98 custom with a double trigger (which i plan to take off for speedball) and a velocity adjuster, does anyone know where i could get a response trigger for my tippmann for under $80?? please dont say "o yeah, go t...

Problems running

Okay, here's where it starts... about a month ago, I hurt my foot on a friend's trampoline. I think I hurt that tendon (sp?) at the bottom of my foot. It hurt so bad. Now my foot is fine, but if I walk long distances, it hurts really bad! It doesn't really do that if I run (Unless I run a lot in a short period of time). Could I have messed up my foot somehow? And if so, what can I do? Thank you in advance!

i play basketball and i was the third leading scorer last year on my team. number one rebounder and number one all around defensive player. but my dilema is i really want to play golf which means i cant play bbal couse htye over lap. i cant make a decision.

okay..im ending my freshman year. I realized theres one thing i know i could do for the rest of my life, thats play basketball. Now theres a real problem which is im only 5'4 and i dought ill get to much taller maybe 5'7 5'8 IF im lucky. Well this summer im gunna train for ball but STAY on JV so I can be with the same coach. Im talkin bout followin a strict diet all of that.

Do you just think im wastin my time? I mean I do live in a small town where hardly anyone gets noticed and i do have a height disadvantage.

New athelete

I'm a lacrosse player (female) and it is my first year. I just started to become athletic, and since I'm running so much, my toes/feet hurt a lot if I run a lot. Is there anything I can do to get used to running a lot so my feet don't hurt as much? Thanks so much!

okay im in track and im not the best runner and the only reason i joined is to get in shape for the summer well anyways my friends think they are getting shin splints and i might be getting them too how can you help this or make them go away and it is really tough on your shins cuz we do hurdles even though it is in middle school level but thanks.

Hi im Jess i love soccer very much and i enjoy it until my coaches ruin it. If i make one little mistake they yell alot. I hate when they do that because im having a great time until they come along and ruin it what can i do to avoid their annoyance to me. thx i rate high
