What to do about teen getting bullied?

HELP!My 16 yo son had 4 boys MUCH LARGER than him come to my house to beat him up. Luckily he wasn't home. They told him on the bus that's why they showed up. Now he won't ride the bus, doesn't want me to confront them or the parents. He said their finally leaving him alone (I don't know if he's telling me everything), and if I do it will get much worse. One boy who was a friend did this already and fought with him. It was put on the internet and he was mocked at school. I found this all out much after the fact. Now these boys want to fight him because my son called one of them fat playing online a wargame talking smack to eachother. In 5th grade I had a teacher who was so happy and cheerful about everything,(not that I'm not a happy person, I am, it's just that nobody is that happy every minute of every day!) she didn't really give us enough work (as in we didn't learn anything, and if we did it wasn't much), just straight up, she was a bad teacher. I don't think she even knew her job was teaching kids to not still leave her class knowing the same stuff they already did when they first came in. I mean, she's a TEACHER. I just feel like always shit. I want to talk to him so badly! Ya we never dated but it was more than that. There was little up and downs but this time he made me me kinda angry and he didn't text me back. So I just stopped talking to him, and obviously he didn't reply. Or call. The following saturday he talks to me and I mean by a text.. What am I doing. and ya I hated the hour he texted me. But it just happens to be the day I put a myspace status up saying. a guy just texted me asking me to prom and i dont know if anybody else will... But the thing is that this guy has kind of a stuttering prob, which isnt bad but my friends just kinda laughed and are like "well do you want to go?" And i dont really know. I want to go to prom, i really do!
But this is so complicated because people are gonna be talking and my friends will just laugh at me and i just feel bad.. i dont want to say no.
He isnt like "weird" he plays sports and has friends and stuff but still... idk. My OWN friends are kind of iffy about it.. HELP!

I don't know if I'm expecting "too much" from my roommate but I wish she could be more considerate about what she does and says. My biggest problem with her right now is the inordinate amount of noise she makes when I'm trying to sleep. I don't get much sleep at night because I'm up late studying and up early going to classes. When I take a valuable nap in the middle of the day, she claims she didn't realize and/or didn't see me. During those times and when I go to sleep before her/sleep in after she wakes up, she is so inconsiderate and loud. Some examples include leaving the door to the common room open - my suitemates are obnoxiously loud and it lets in a hefty amount of light and noise, bumps into my bed (it shakes it enough t...

Well my boyfriends friend likes me, and me and my boyfriend have been dating for a month and a half. I hung out last night with his friend and we smoked it wasn't just us my friend and his friend went too. Sometimes I tell him I love him, then again I do that to all his friends as in a friendly love cause I'm friends with all my bfs friends. And this morning I got a text from him saying he reallyl ikes me, expecting me to say something sweet in return but I said idk what to say cause I have a bf.. I really like my bf but in a way I like his friend. What do I do? His friends mad at me for not saying anything back cause he says I "flirt" a lot. Help? What do I dooo?

So here's my question... im a girl and im 16, but for some reason i am very nervous about doing things with this guy i like in school. We always talk about doing stuff and having sex. I asked this question before and i got an answer saying watch some porn videos... well i did and im still nervous because they are pro. How do I boost my seflesteem so i can actually do what i say i want to do? And im not looking for an answer that says do what's conftorable or if youre not ready dont do it. How can I stop being so clingy? I need to get over this. I don't know if it's because I can't trust guys or what. But I seem to always want attention from a guy I'm not with, a guy a like. When they give me attention I take it for granted and actually get annoyed when they talk to me all the time. I can understand myself. Women like me are confusing haha.

I like this guy and I've known him for about 6 years or so but just recently became friends with him.Unfortunately i fell for him. My friend liked him before and although he wasn't rude and blunt in telling her he didn't feel the same way their friendship deteriorated. They talk but no where near as much as before. Now I'm stuck in this situation i don't want to tell him I like him because it will ruin our friendship. The thing with him is not that's he's a player but he is just a nice guy to everyone.I don't think he knows how to just give hints when he dosnt like someone, in other words he sends mixed messages. We talk and text all the time but deep down I think I know he dosnt like me. Should I risk our friendship or stay quiet and try to grt over my feelings for him?

My "boss" is a senior VP at our company. I am really in a stand alone position and he has no idea what I do and couldn't even find the information on our intranet but brought old crap to yesterday's review. He hasn't spoken to me outside of simple meetings for 6 months but has clearly had a lot of conversations with a new employee who's been breathtakingly rude to me (demanding my office, whispering asides during our meetings, etc). He also expects me to do all the work but then encourages people to bypass me so I'm not perceived as the expert. Now he wants to mediate a meeting with this person but clearly he's not an unbiased mediator. We're a small company with a crappy/nonexistent HR function. The guy has worked for the c...

I've worked with this guy for years, we're both married. A few years ago my husband cheated on me. And less than a year later, this guy I've been working w/ starts to hang around me ALL The time for about six months. Nothing major happened, but we became close friends...too close, and not wanting to repeat my husband's mistakes with "the guy friend", I started pushing him away. My boss is more then 50yrs old and lives with his parents. He does not have a lot of social skills. I have caught him following me around the office and looking at what I am doing, like what mail I put in the outbox or who am I talking with or where I am going in general. His behavior is creepying me out. I can do my job without even talking or speaking with him for weeks and have tried to stay out of his way to see what would happen and it seems this makes his behavior worsen. I met this guy about 3 years ago. When we met we couldn't be more opposite. I was the gorgeous nerd, straight A's big family, with really strict parents. scared of this girl at school

i have a serious problem..
im a buff girl, im not skinny, but not chunky, and im pretty musculor. i used to be in a lot of fist fights and think i can beat everyone up and have that mentality that i was strong, and people were afraid of me.
until last year, my junior year of high school, i got beat up by a sophomore.. this girl completely caught me off guard and i was humiliated in front of my whole school.

gossip vs private converstion

I work in a department where most employee have been there 10 years of more, an new employee started and seems to have problems understanding that we have developed friendship and have private conversation that we do not feel we need to include them in. I do not feel that they have a understanding as to the difference of gossip and private conversation. Many times they have accuse us of gossiping; large egos!! How do we explain this clearly? It is getting old fast!
