softball

Posted Sunday June 5 2005, 1:19 am

ok so i just started playing softball last year. I'm not bad at all. The bad part is that my dad thinks i suck because he NEVER pays attention to me when i practice and i think hes only gone to 3 of my games. 4 tops. but then again, he goes to every single one of my little brothers games,he helps him practice ALL the time, and he lets my little brother pitch. One of the reasons why i like softball so much is because last year i was one of the best pitcher in my league. now that im in an older league, i have to pitch different but im still pitching really accurate and fast. My dad thinks im horrible and pitching and thinks i have NO CLUE what im doing because im not doing it like a stupid pitching video is telling me to do. I cant convince h...

Easy Kid Games For Camp

Posted Tuesday May 31 2005, 5:05 pm

So I have to get a pretty good long list of games we can play with our kiddos at camp. But I want some new games.. not the tradition tag or duck duck goose sort. Something they've maybe never played before. They're pretty young too..5 to 8 So I need something that they can all enjoy together. Preferably something not terribly messy either. lol Thanks to everyone who helps. I'll rate. :)

golf

Posted Sunday May 29 2005, 4:31 pm

ok, this is probably the dumbest of all questions-but i play golf a lot, and there is one true weakness in my game-sand bunkers-how do you hit it out of them without it going too far or too short (im not talking about sand far away, i am talking about sand around the green)

Skateboarding

Posted Saturday May 28 2005, 11:48 pm

Hi,
I'm new to skateboarding, and I'd like to have some tips. I know the basics of skating, what it means to skate "normal" or "goofy", how to turn and I'm working on the Ollie. But, I need help perfecting it. I'm nervous when trying to jump with the Ollie, and I'm still having trouble steering (a little bit). I can jump off my board, turn a 180 and land (I forgot what that's called), too. What would be a good next trick to learn, and how can I master the basic Ollie, and just skating around?

Thanks!

Trampolines

Posted Thursday May 26 2005, 10:57 pm

Hi, I've been trying to convince my mom to get a trampoline..FOREVER. She's finally considering it....but we need some help.

Where can you buy a trampoline from? (We need one with a net)

How much on average do they cost?

Do you have to set them up yourself, and if so is it difficult?

Have you had any bad experiences with trampolines?

Thanks!

I coulcn't understand them so I just stood there like an idiot while they yelled. Does anyone know what you're supposed to do after you hit the base and run back?
