my 4 year old is for lack of a better term a terrible child. he randomly screams loudly for no reason, he tries to steal things when we go ANYWHERE, he abuses our animals, his baby (7 month old) brother and me. my husband and i argue everyday over my son and his bad behavior is getting to be a problem in our marriage. he lies for no reason about things he doesnt have to lie about. he calls me names, curses at me and hits me in the face. he refuses to listen and almost always does the opposite of what is told or asked of him. we have tried everything. he gets verbal warnings, time outs, toys or favorite things taken away, soap in his mouth, even spankings. its embarrassing to take him places and im afraid that if his terrible behavior contin...

Our 16 girl wants to date a 20 year old man who dropped out of High School, doesn't have a job, lives with his mother and is not very intelligent. Our girl is in middle college and gets straight A's.
This all started 3 weeks ago. She lied about his age and the nature of the relationship. One week in we discovered the truth and decided that we had to intervene. After speaking with both of them about how it was not only an immoral, but possibly illegal relationship, he was quick to point out the legal age of consent in our state is 16. Addressing my elders

My parents are strict and I have always been required to answer them with yes sir, no sir, yes ma'am, and no ma'am. I am required to answer all adults this way and some of my friends think it is weird and they have been teasing me about it. I have talked to my dad and he will not let me off the hook when it comes to respect and manners. He will not let me just say yes or no I have to keep using sir and ma'am even though my friends never have to with their parents. Any ideas on what I should do?

I'm not entirely sure where to begin. I'm a guy and I'm bisexual. There's a good start. I knew I was, well probably forever. Just the whole facing-reality part was taking a while. I'm now sure of how I feel and who I am. My question is how do I tell my family? My Mother is semi-understanding. She works at a college with many gay people. She accepts them, but still makes remarks and doesn't like to see them touching, kissing, etc. My oldest brother is very against gays. He thinks Lesbians are "okay". hey guys my folks am the eldest one in my family and my folks want me to get married to the girl they choose but i am not ready for it yet i want to study for my boards which is very time consuming as my younger siblings are very much eager to get married and i am sort of a hinderence for their marriage as i come from a orthodox family where the eldest one is supposed to get married first its been really bothering me a lot ...and i am sort of really depressed about it and have absoulutely no clue what to do about it .i respect my parents very much and dont like to hurt them either .

Brothers over-protection

I am a seven year old boy from Pakistan. I have a problem. I have four brothers. One is twenty six, other is twenty four, other is twenty two and the last is twenty one. The problem is that they all mollycoddle me. Not that I mind, but sometimes, it really exasperates me. I have no problem when they hug me (which they do a lot)but they sometimes treat me like a baby, like they won't let me stay up late (we share the same room)and make me eat mounds of food because they think I am 'peaky'. And thats not the only case. I am a real bookworm and Im always reading fiction books. This they disapprove. They want me to go out, socialise and play etc etc. I told them I would go out when I want to but they just laugh at me, as if Im two years old. It really drives me mad.

Okay, I just got the HTC Evo, 2 weeks ago. I want to get the iPhone 4S in March of next year when I will have my Evo for about 6 and a half months, just in time for my trip across the world. It's only going to be about $100 because my contract would be up and since it would be up, I would get a discount. So, I told my mom that I would like to get the iPhone in March and she freaked out calling me spoiled, I just got a new phone, I don't need another. I am talking six months away AND I will pay for the iPhone with my own money! This is what grinds my gears, my brother smokes weed, he buys it all the time thus leading him to be broke constantly. Haunted house with brother?

Never been to one of those haunted houses theme parks ever and i never planned on it either until my brother called me today and told me i was going, like forcing me. I find it very rude, but then again i kind of understand why he wants me to go out because i barely leave the house now a days because i am homeschooled. Thing is I'm not a fan of horror and i have a sleep paralysis disorder. Where i suffer from hallucinations when i sleep, basically from stress or something real scary i saw. I can overcome it though, its not a big deal, but should i just go anyways? Just to do something different for a change or just drop it? Because something is telling me i should go if not ill regret it?

I am married since 5 years, my son has ADHD, I got married after I had my kids, my son dose stupid stuff all the time, taking stuff to school tells lies and I get a call from school almost every week. My husban told me that I am a bad mother and that I should do somthing more than just yelling at my son and telling him he is not allowed to watch tv or play games, and now he told me rather I get him strained out or he moves out, I am not from this country I left everything behind and we hear in the us since 1 year and now all that, I don't know what to do anymore please help me

Okay, so I love my husband and my girl more than anything else in this world. And I hope he does the same too. But sometimes, he just goes way too far. I mean when we were dating, he never used to let me go anywhere without him or used to get into fights over me for normal stuff like if a guy used to tease me on the street or something like that. At first, I used to think it was kinda cute.. But with time this got really annoying. We got into so many fights for this reason. If I asked him that I needed my space too, he was like "yeah.. use that typical line on me as well.. you don't love me anymore."

Well my mom is my best friend but sometimes she can be really mean and i don't know why. I mean it's been like this for quite a while, like over a month now, i mean she's 42 and maybe it's the hormones or something but she gets really irrated and she calls me names like patheic or loser, and i really hate when people call me names and when my mom does it it hurts tiwce as much i don't want our friendship to be ruined but i don't know what i should do i mean when ever i tell her to stop being mean she always yells at me saying that i'm the one being childish what should i do?

So a few months ago, i found a prescription for my mom for valtrex this cream that's for herpes, shingles, and other things. I asked my therapist because i panicked and she told me it could have been for shingles, what adults get if they didn't have chicken pox when they were younger, so i let it go. Well recently i found another prescription that was written to my mo about a month ago for zovirax. And on it said 15 gm ointment, apply to lesion for 7 days and now i am starting to wonder what is going on? i don't want o jump to conclusions again, but i am worried about her. Okay so first of all, some of you are going to think that I'm a b**** for saying this forgive me. I'm 20 years old and my sister is 26, most people say that at age 26 your brain is fully developed. OK. This is what eating me(making me mad and sad).
