WHERE ARE THE JOBS THAT ARE EASY TO GET INTO? Posted Thursday June 1 2006, 9:08 pm
I'm a young, stay-at-home mom, with a 3 year old daughter, who's in day care, and I have another child on the way. I am dying to get some sort of job before this baby comes, but no one will hire me due to being inexperienced. Does anyone know any good work at home jobs or any good jobs, in which don't require any beforehand experience?

I am a restaurant manager and personal licence holder. the restaurant is changing ownership and i have been given no written notice and the new employer wont tell me his plans. I am also working 80 to 90 hours a week as the owner is at his other restaurant and i have to be there to open close and cash up, I am the only first aider and hold a personnal licence for supervising the premises so do it because i have no choice. I have increased turnover by £100,000 am praised by all the customers but the owner tells people he is selling because the trade is not good because of me yet and he has given the new employer a kind of apraisal on each member of staff and in mine it does not give a good opinion. Jobs..ehh Posted Thursday May 18 2006, 6:42 pm
Alright, to start out I'm fifteen years old and looking for a job. I have applied at these two places, either of which I would really like to work at. One of them isn't hiring anymore I don't think but I am supposed to call back tonight to check. The other restaraunt, I talked to a girl who works there (she's also 15) and she is quitting this weekend, so I'm pretty sure there will be a position open. The thing is, I went in to pick up the application two days ago and I talked to the stand-in manager who wasn't sure if they were hiring (it would be bus work, btw) but he told me the manager would be in all day Friday. So I filled out the application and I think I am going to stop by the restaraunt after school tomorrow. The thing is, I'm nerv...

Aromatherapy/Color Therapy Posted Thursday May 18 2006, 12:57 pm
I'm interested in becoming a color and aroma therapist. I've seen a lot of online programs, but I don't know how accredited they are. Wouldn't some sort of hands-on school always be better? Or does it really matter? Unfortunately I live in a small town, far from any of the schools I've read about. Should I just forget it because I wouldn't be able to get the best possible aroma/color therapy education out there? Because I don't live in or anywhere near LA or NYC?

What can I do? Posted Wednesday May 17 2006, 5:28 pm
I have no idea what I want to do with my life! I am able to see all of the possibilities for failure or success in a situation. I love theatre, music, and sports. My grade point average is a 4.0 on a 4.0 scale. I have an exceptional ability to get people to do what I want them to; I have many friends and even more loyal acquaintances. It is quite easy for me to gain the trust of others and get them on my side in an argument. I really want to help people and would enjoy volunteering in a third world or war-ridden country. I was thinking maybe I could go into public or international relations. Does anyone know of a job that utilizes my people and persuasion skills?
Thank you.
