Stuck in the Shadows

I'm very overshadowed by my best friend. She's a very flirtatious, outgoing, redheaded vixen and everyone wants to be friends with her. Now, I don't mind it so much, I'm happy that she is well liked by people, but it's the fact that I seem to be getting less and less attention from her every time she meets somebody new. Especially guys. Every guy she meets has had a crush on her. (Except, thankfully, my CURRENT boyfriend...note that I said CURRENT..ex-boyfriends are another story) And often times she has crushes on them, but she still has to complain about them liking her. Party

I am having my 17th birthday party in like a week or so and I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas for games, thing to do, etc. Here are something that might help I want the party theme to be pink and silver and the guys can wear red and grey, I have a pool table, big living room. Any ideas will help or you can tell me something about one of your good partys and I can get an idea from that? thanks and there is another problem how can I tell my mom to stay upstairs since guys are going to be there I don't know if she will trust me and I don't want her to be there cause I mean I am going to be 17 she should be able to trust me and I know that everyone will feel really uncomfortable if my mom keeps watching or checking up on us so what c...

well i broke up with my boyfriend in may and now i go to the same school with him and he still wants to be with me i dont even want to be friends with him and now he has a classes next to my locker and i see him everyday i dont want to talk to him and i told him i like another guy and he insists that we should get back together but i told him i dont like him at all and now he doesnt stop bugging me what do i do. or what can i do

four day vacation

i went on vacation for four days without talking to any of my friends except for one for 45 minutes... well im bak and they feel like strangers to me. when 8th grade ends we wont be in high school together and we oviously wont last... right nowi could almost kill myself becuz its coming up too soon... and the vacation and coming bak makes me realize how much i dont like the fact that we wont keep in touch and be as good of friends.

This year i started a new school and made a really good friend. We do a sport together so we became pretty close fast. Well I am switing back to my old school cause i'm really unhappy at the one i am at now. Well i have to tell my new friend that i'm not goin to be goin to school with her anymore. What should i do cause i dont want to hurt her feelings but i need to tell her.

party planning

My friend and I are trying to plan a party. The thing is, I know that at most parties, not much goes on. I mean, you eat, and then when the going gets slow, someone gets everyone to start dancing. I'm not a big fan of dancing, so I'm trying to figure out what I could do besides that. I'm not saying I'm completely opposed to it happening, I just don't want to spend an hour trying to avoid the swaying mass congregated in my living room.
Soooo...if anyone has any ideas on fun things that I could plan (that aren't too corny, I need them to be things that a bunch of sixteen-year-olds would agree to doing) I'd love to hear them! Thank you!
(by the way, it's a holiday party, so anything Christmas/Hanukkah themed would be appreciated)

Fading Friendships

I have some friends that I used to know really well that I would talk to all the time, and we could talk about almost anything with each other; well not so anymore. And it seemed like all of a sudden we didnt talk. What happened and why? Is there anything I can do to reverse this?

Well here's the thing, my best friend(23) has just recently gotten engaged. She has asked me(19) to be her maid of honor and I have said yes. But come to find out she has been lying to this guy(20) the whole time they've been together. I didn't realize what she's been doing until all of us started to hang out with each other. He's really nice and really loves her. But I don't believe she feels the same about him. She is what you would call a user. If you have something that she could benefit from she attaches to you and try's to get you for all you have. Ok I got dumped by my boyfriend and he started being nasty to me then we made friends and we're both over eachother now he's going out with his other ex and It didn't bother me at first but on friday we were swimming at school and they were really flirting with eachother and holding hands I felt a jelious but I thought I was over him so now I'm really confused because I don't know if I still like him but whenever I see him I just keep looking at him and thinking why did he dump me because he never told me why and I still wonder why if you can help me then please tell me what to do?

Ok, I am definatly NOT the type of person who gets jelous over the dumbest things. But right now I am. My best friend found love. Yes, she is actually kinda young,but she (I can tell) is in love. She talks about him the way a fiance would talk about her future husband. It makes me feel like no one acutually likes me. likes or loves me. How can I tell if someone loves me? Boys at my school won't go and admit it. So are there signs? Plus my friend is spending ALL her time with him. Or if shes not with him...she TALKING ABOUT him. I HAVE told her that it would be nice not to talk about him (in a nice way) and she said she wouldn't do it as much but she is! help

ok so recently, in the past few months, ive turned into a bit of a bitch. i honestly dont know why. i get annoyed a lot easier. most of the time, i get jealous really easy. like for example, my friend found out that i had a advice column, so he decided he wanted one. well i got really mad because its my "thing" and i wanted it to myself. im selfish and im whiney. i dont know why im starting to be like this. i also started doing drugs, becoming more "sexual", looking at porn, being belemic, and a lot of stuff that i know will ruin my life. i cant stop. im losing all my friends, and ive already lost a lot of them. i just dont know what to do.

ok , heres the thing , i got mad at my friend and now shes pissed at me and then i thought i should call her but i got no answer . anyway that part doesnt matter much cuz heres the important part , i got mad at my other friend for like using me to send notes to the many guys she likes cuz i like kno all the guys in my skool . ( or at least in the 7th and 8th grades ) and so the other day she wrote a note to a guy and asked me to give it to him so me and my friends went and like wrote stuff on it like the girls name , phone number and ect. and me and my other friends are going to put it in his band locker . does this make me sound like a bad friend or someone whos really angry ? should i send it or not ? im confused

the reason i lied to them is b'cuz i really wanna be as cool as them...they're good lookin' they're famous...and i'm ugly..and infamous..and since i got this cool and gud lookin boyfriend...i began to lie more and more...i kept hiding my real identity and became "the big fat liar"...the more i felt being treated so friendly the more i felt being used..i just dunno why...my therapist says that it was just my conscience..
