re-doing my room

i already posted before but i found the wall color i wanted so i just want to know if anyone knows of any cute accesories that would match a room in purple and gold. and, if you can find some cute purple or gold furniture or room decorations, or wallpaper. please give me links.
i'm into to the royal kind of look. like in the movie 'uptown girls', brittney murphy's bedroom in the very beginning. yeh, that's the kind of look i like, haha.

dorm room

i need help with my dorm room. it is pretty small, but i want a few things to spice it up. mainly these things will be on the walls because i won't be able to have a lot of furniture or anything in such a small space.
-i am a creative, artsy person that likes music, art, poetry, dance intellectual things
-i'm a huge girly girl
-my bedspread has blue and white colors in it so far but i dont want to confine myself to only shades of blue
-i am into tropical things
-i love black
i am kind of all over the place. thus, i dont know how to decorate my dorm!!!! pleaseee help

Any creative advice on how I can spice up the walls in an apartment?
I can't paint them and I'm going to put up pictures but I need something bigger.
I like bright, vibrant colors and I really want my apartment to reflect that.

air freshener

i bought one of the air fresheners that looks like a candle, you push it and it lights up in the glass bowl, it smells amazing, i loveee it. my friends had one on vacation and it made the house smell great, like the entire upstairs and even when you came into the living room at the bottom of the stairs!!!!! but mine, im lucky if i can smell it on the other side of my room. idk why its not getting through the whole room, when i leave my room i put it in the middle of my bed to try to get it to get in the entire room but it doesnt really help. and i need to sleep with a fan going at night and when i sleep with the ceiling fan on, forget about smelling the scent at all, the little smoke thats blows off the top gets blown the other way and do...

redoing disaster

im redoing my room. there is not much of summer left and i need my bedding before i can do the painting and picking of carpet color. i have looked litterally EVERYWHERE but i was wondering if you might know of any good places to find cute bedding. i want something cute and kind of bright but not overdone, not boring by any means though. and not too young looking, im seventeen. so yeah anyways please give me some suggestions, store names and even examples of what you like. thanks.

i know this might sound weird & / orr stalkerish, but i love looking at facebook pics of girls' inside their bedrooms to get some inspiration for my own bedroom.
as i am veryy interested in interior decorating, i have googled "youth bedrooms" and my absolutee favorite website is pbteen.com.
my question: besides books, are there any other sites LIKE pbteen? and trust me i've raided the internet of "teen bedrooms" / "youth bedrooms" etcc.

ok, well I just moved the furniture around in my room today.
I hate the color of my walls and I want to paint.
The thing is I want to do something crazy, but I have no idea what colors, and if I had colors I dont know what to do with them.
I dont know if I want some sort of design or what, I'm kind of stumped.
If anyone has any suggestions that would be lovely (:
the only thing i know is that I dont want pink or red.

artistic decor

I have these two plastic bags that my curtains came in that have the little plastic hooks at the top that hung on the hanger at the store. i want to recycle them to hang on my wall and use them in some type of artistic way that will match my room decor. i have this bedding, http://www.amazon.com/iRock-Bed-Bag-%252d-Twin/dp/B0012LY6I8/ref=combo_pack_i_1, my walls are the blue of the comforter, my curtains are the green, all trim is white, one wall is completely collaged in magazine cutouts, and another wall has pictures of my friends and i and some shelves with a few peices of my artwork on them. what can i do with they two bags (put stuff in them, ect., what ever you can think of) to hang on my walls that will look great and match my room?

Wasp Nest (AGAIN)!

I had a wasp nest above my back door a few weeks ago. So I knocked it down. Well guess what? They're rebuilding it. OMG! Wasp are pesky. How do I get rid of a Wasp nest that keeps coming back?

I have wanted to move for awhile now, same with my family. My mom got a new job closer to where we'd like to move so now we are getting more serious about it. I hate my school, I don't have many friends that I actually like besides like 2, I don't like the people at my school, a lot of my friends keep changing or doing bad stuff of moving, I don't like my sports team or my coach, and I'm just sick of it. None of my family likes there jobs either. I should be enjoying my high school years, not dreading it. Please give me tips on how to get my family motivated and how to start with getting the house on the market and sold! We have a lot of construction type things that need to be done, and only my dad can do them but hes not really motivated ...

lawn on wooden patio

I have a condo, it has a small patio area that was upgraded before I bought it into a wooden deck. So the wooden deck is not original. I needed a lawn for my dog on it so my boyfriend and I cut out a small section of the wood and planted sod. The wood is rotting on it and I will probably end up replacing all the wood anyway. When I cut out the section and put grass there did it bring the value of my condo down?

Bedroom color

Help! I'm redoing my room this summer and I have nooo idea what colors I want it to be. Whenever I think of a good color scheme, I change my mind.
I'm 16, female.. I want my room to have a happy, but yet calm and relaxing feeling. I love bright/light colors. I hate dark colors.
Please give me some suggestions, thanks! :)

Hey. Ok so like, last week or something, I put a question on here about a black and white room. I want to change my room when we move. Well, I had my heart set on doing black and white and some other color, but I totally forgot about my dresser! It's wood. And it wouldn't look good at ALL with black and white. So I'm now considering like, cheetah print. It would go good with my dresser. So does anyone know where I can find some animal print stuff like that. More cheetah than zebra or anything. And I'm 15/f. I would like pretty cute stuff that I can have fun with. And any other ideas are totally appreciated!! Thakns!!!!
Oh yeah, sorry if I'm too picky, but I don't really want like, pink or purple cheetah stuff. More like the black and brown kind. Thanks!

Black and White Room

Hey! So I'm a 15 year old girl. And I live in a smaller house. Not like super small, but small. Hehe. Anyways, after we redo our bathroom and fix carpet in one of our rooms, we intend on moving. Right now, my room is in a tropical theme. I realllyyyyy want to redo it, but if we move within a year or so, there's no point in redoing it now. If I do redo it, I want to do it in a black and white theme. I really like my tropical theme now, but I'm ready for something more sophisticated.
