Would you share with me your words of wisdom? I'm 20 and I just want to hear from anyone the important lessons in life they have learned so far.
It could be about work, love life, spirituality, money matters, passions, dealing with problems, beauty routine/secrets, etc. thanks!

Mormons

I don't mean to bash the religion, but I'm sick of it. I live in Utah, so I'm surrounded by it. And everyone is always bringing up that the religion should be more a part of the school. Well, I don't believe in any of it. Personally, I think their religion was just founded on Joseph Smith trying to steal other men's wives and get away with it. And they have a class here. How do they get away with having a religiously oriented class in a public school, isn't that infringing on the separation of church and state clause? My question is how do I deal with all of this religion when I don't want it, especially since all the guys that I could date are mormon?

Right I have a christian friend who is like really serious about it, and I some times feel like she is constantly trying to convert me when I've told her that I'm not like her i'm not like a church go-er and it's just i've been bruoght up in a different way to her. I don't want to offend her but can any one suggest ways of making it clear that i don't believe half of what she's saying. (Thanks alot, i rate high!)

Arite everyone, i was able to last about a week with out looking at porn but just like 20 minutes ago, i cracked and i couldnt handle it. a week is probably the longest time ive ever been able to do it. But i still need help

ok strange stuff has been happening to me I see like some thing happen in my head then they actually come true and soem times I will cry for know reason and then some thing later that day or week some thing really really sad happend weather its on tv or at home and then I told my friend that my cat might die becuz she was really sick and I promise 5 minutes later the vet called to tell us she died I think I am becomeing a freak

Lately I've been getting headaches and when I close my eyes trying to get them to go away, I see things. Like there's some kind of movie playing on my eyelids. I saw my friend failing her history test and it actually happened word for word. I tried to talk to my friend about it and she thought I was joking around. I'm really scared. I don't want to be a freak. The headaches keep coming and I keep seeing things and I want it to stop.
What should I do and does this happen to anybody else?

I give up. I dont deserve gods love. I am not worthy enough for it. He gives me a gift and i dont use it. I fail one class, i am a porn addict. I give up i dont deserve god anymore. I dont even deserve to live, i, i really dont care. i am not good enough. I am not as loyal to him as i should be. i dont deserve him at all. im done. Please give advice or a way to end it all

In the aftermath of the tsunami, the eternal theological question is again posed: what sort of God permits the slaughter of blameless humanity on such a scale?
On the abundant available evidence does it not seem that, if there is or was a God, it is now malevolent, mad or dead?
No, religious nutters please - this is a serious question I'm posing.

a friend from school died about 3 weeks ago from cancer. now one of my close friends has cancer too. its making me so incredibly frustrated and upset and angry and so worried about my friend all at the same time. i need someone spiritual to please give me a new outlook on all of this, because right now i can't stop praying and questioning why the hell things like this happen.
