Gaining weight

I am about 15 pounds underweight. I am 13 years old 4'10'' and 70 pounds. I know that bad, I'm don't have any eating disorders or nothing. I just have a very high metabolism and have a slender body shape (most women in my family on my moms side are bulit like that). I don't want to gain weight fast. I know it takes like a month to gain about 3 pounds or something. But I just want to know are there any diets that can help me gain about 1-3 pounds each month?

I have the worst relationship with food right now. This past summer, I was very strict with myself about what I ate. I hardly ever ate any kind of dessert, and I counted calories closely. Now, ever since Thanksgiving about, I binge all the time. I eat a bunch of Christmas cookies and icecream and candy and stuff. I try to tell myself to go back to normal, but I just turn into a different person when I get near food. What could be causing this? How can I get control of my life again? I know this is unhealthy, but I can't do it by myself.

Gaining a few pounds and eating well...

I'm 22/F.. I've always been thin, and a slow-eater. I have never been mindful of my weight or body image. I eat what I want, trying to have good nutrition, of course, but never skip on anything I might crave, like chocolate or ice cream.. I'm 5'6 and weigh about 117 (the last time I checked). This is considered normal for my body type, but i could afford to gain a few pounds. I know a lot of women want the opposite, but not me. Is there anyone who knows how I can gain a couple extra pounds/build more muscle while staying healthy? I do yoga fairly regularly and try to maintain a good diet, though it's sometimes difficult since I'm a student. Thanks!

ALTOIDS CAFFAINE'D ME!!

is it supposed to do that? my teacher recommended us having altoids to help us concentrate an such, and i got some like yesterday and finished the pack like a couple mins ago, lol. i was awake till 3 doing homework, and the altoids just kept me going.. it was like caffaine maybe, but idk i just could really concentrate and not feel tired at all except for one of my eyes which kinda hurt.. and had this thick red line on it. now the line is gone tho.. but i should
probably sleep early this night... but is the altoids supposed to do that? its the real pepperminty kind. and i woke up for school at like 7:30, too. also in school, i had a couple altoids and i didnt feel tired either.. i mean, i kinda did, but not like "im so tired i'...

why aren't I hungry?

Yesterday, all I ate was cereal, an apple, shrimp crackers, a few mints, and a bag of jelly beans. How come I haven't been hungry since then?? now its the next day at like 12pm.. geez, is this like super unhealthy? Im going to eat breakfast now, but idk why im not like starving or anything.

okay, i'm not overweight, but just a bit underweight considering im like 5-10 lbs away from average. i eat pretty much whatever i want with some restrictions. i'm not on a diet, but im on like a semi-diet, eating fruits and veggies for lunch and not really snacks. i'm 5'9, female, and i weigh around 145 lbs. i just ate a part of a muffin and i hate myself for it. whenever i eat some kind of dessert or something, i feel like crying and i just want to throw it all up. i am not bulimic or anything, but i'm starting to believe i have some kind of mental eating disorder. i just feel horrible when i eat anything like that and it really bothers me. i just want to throw it up and sometimes i even start crying after i eat it. can someone please help...

Okay im looking to go on a diet. like not one where you dont eat and stuff but like a programmed one like theres the atkins diet cranberry juice diet grapefruit diet. i love to eat fruit and i searched google for diferent diets and i didnt get any good ones i dont like that whole slimfast diet or south beach diet i like ones where i dont have to buy there food. can someone please tell me some or send links i rate high. =]

Ok so a lot of people tell me i am too thin. I've done those online calculators and they say i am, but you can't really trust those things because they don't take in to consideration a lot of important factors, you know. My Friend Is Bullimic

My Name is Felicia I am a Girl, and I am 14. The other day my friend, i'll use the name Mary to protect her identity, told me she had a secret to tell me, and that I couldn't tell anyone. I agreed, she told me she was bullimic, and that she had been for a year. I am so worried about her. It has gotten so bad, that now she refuses to eat anything. I love this girl to death, and don't want her to get hurt, but I also want to remain her friend. If you could please help me...it would be nice. I need to know if I should tell someone, and risk losing our friendship, or not tell someone, and let something bad happen to her. HELP PLEASE!!!

Fasting Help?

Okay, so I'm going to need to fast for a long period of time to get a bunch of blood work done, ect. (I'm getting cholesterol tests, which is why I cant eat the days of the tests) so I was wondering if there are any ways to get my mind off food. I'm huge on eating many snacks during the day, so this will be hard for me. If any of you have any effective tecniques or anything, please help me out. =D.

i have been fasting for a week now....i tried eating again but with just a few spoonfulls i felt full, but i at it anyways and that's what made me get sick. so every little thing i try to eat makes me sick and it won't stay in me.....why is this?

living on water

I've been pretty ill for about a week or so and haven't been able to eat, I've lived on tap water for the whole week and havn't eaten anything else. I've drunken about 1 1/2 to 2 litres per day, maybe a bit more. What will happen to me? Anything bad? What can it do? I'm scared but I can't bring myself to eat anything else...

can't eat that much food

Ok, I'm 14 and last night when I weighed myself I was 106...and that was with everything I ate (which I didn't eat much) I'm really worried because everytime I get hungry, I'm not as soon as I see food, or when I eat food, I'll get full after ONE BITE! My mom said that if I don't eat more soon she'll take me to a hospital...and I don't want that. So I've been forcing myself to eat...but the bad part of that is that everytime I force myself to eat...it hurts my stomach and makes me feel like I'm going to throw up...can anyone tell my easy foods to eat? I really need y'alls advice(and just saying something...I don't want to lose weight, I want to gain it...and I ain't one of those girls' who starves herself, so dont go thinking that alright?)

Fat

I'm about 5'5
and I weigh about 145-147 pounds.
Im not THAT fat[im muscular] but I do eat alot, but i eat alot of healthy things.
And I know how to loose weight but I always end up eating to much and then feeling guilty about it.
When I Do follow a good eating habit , I would eat a peanut butter and bananas and slim fast for breakfast, yogurt pretzels and raisins for lunch, broccoli and chicken for dinner, then yogurt and apples for snack.
How much weight would I be able to loose a week by that>?

losing a LITTLE weight

hey, i am 5'7'' and 125 lbs.
i know im not overweight i just want to look more toned in my abs, lower stomach and thighs. maybe loose a few pounds like 5. but i don't wanna go on a major diet. im willing to go on a mild diet for a little while but not like ATKINS! also i do crunches but what are some other good exersizes to help me look more toned. thanks so much in advance!

not eating enough

15/f. i'm 5'3" and weight about 105 or maybe just a few pounds more. i know that on some days i don't eat enough but then on some days i just splurge and eat a whole lot of junk food. i can't seem to stick to eating healthy. also if i eat just a little more than usual then the next day my stomach will be a little bigger than the day before. what can i do to prevent this? i already do about 150 cruches and 100 bicycles a day and then run on my treadmill for 30 mintures about 2-3 times a week at like 5.5-5 mph.

here is a basic meal for a day:

BREAKFAST: one quaker breakfast bar in strawberry (about 130 calories)

LUNCH: a turkey and low fat cheese sandwhich on white bread (i think wheat bread t...

ok i've been trying to cut back for the past 2 weeks. i wouldn't really say it was an actual DIET per say, but i guess it is. for breakfast i've been having a bowl of special k & for lunch i've been having a mix of things. usually gram crackers carrots dole peaches apple/apple sauce & yoplay yogurt. i mix those things up each day. i have a bottle of water with it also. for dinner, i try cutting back. i eat whatever my parents make, because i don't want to waste food. so lets say they make steak & potatos. i'll have a small piece of steak and 1 sweet potato. stuff like that. even if they have bbq and fries. ill take the bbq without the roll and a few fries. i've cut out my snacks & have not aten past 7 pm. also, i'm on an ank...
