ok..i really screwed up, i know. heres my story. my BEST friend was going out with this guy for like 4 months, then they broke up for no particular reason, just that it wasnt really working out. but i became sort of friends with him while they were together. all my other friends said during the time they were together that the way he looked at me was as if he liked me and all that. i took no notice because i didnt want my to hurt my friend. once they broke up... and about 2 months later he called me and asked me if he could come over. i said yes. we rented some movies and watched them. then we started fooling around and one thing led to another and we were all over each other and making out! we didnt have sex though. he left and i felt enor...

I was talking to this girl from my class on the phone today and I realized that she is pretty cool and I want to be friends with her. The thing is that she is not very popular and I'm afraid that if I start hanging out with her, my other friends won't want to hang with me and might diss me. Am I being shallow or stupid? And what should I do?

I think this guy is really hot. He's in 11th grade and very preppy, I'm in 9th and well... average. We've never spoken or acknowledged each other, but I figured that it would be cool to become friends with him or make an attempt. Should I try to approach him to be FRIENDS ONLY (I don't want to date him. I mean he's really hot but it's no way possible.) but I'm not sure if he may be creeped out. If I should try to approach him, how should I do it? All of my friends say go and talk to him and become friends, so does my little sister, but I'm really shy and I'm scared that someone as hot as him might not want to be friends with someone as average as me. So I'll be "rejected" in a sense. Advice? Realise we've never talked, we have mad...

i've been seeing my girlfriend for 2 years now and we've always been open about everything but lately she's been acting differently i'll reach out to touch her and she'll jump like she thinks i'm going to hit her and the other night i noticed that she had bruises on her stomach and i hugged her and she acted like i hurt her i think that someone has hitting her and she's afraid to tell me i just don't understand it because she has always told me everything how do i find out if she is being hit and how do i help her if she is being abused?

My friends and I are trying to get this one boy from my classical music class to start to appreciate rock music and rap music, pop music etc. He isn't responding to most of it and is giving answers to rap music like, "You don't know what he's saying!!" Is there an easy way to introduce him to this type of music?

can someone help me? my friends always say how sad they are and depressed bc they are alone and don't have a bf, or they say how their life sucks when they have one. Or they just brag on how much they love him...and ect...and it pisses me off...bc my life is worst then all their's compared basically...and my friend always saying how she is fighting and getting dention (sp?) amd shit and it annoys me...bc its her choice to get into fights not mine...and also i never had a bf...im not allowed till im 16 which is next year...and they always say how their parents never let them do things..when mine are much more strict then theirs..and my life is much worse then theirs or just as bad...and i dont have a bf to courage me to stay strong like they do!! plz help me :-(

My good friend is really mad at me I asked her what she thought of one of our guy friends and I thought she said she liked him. But we were in the hallway and I guess I didnt hear right. I told this guy friend because he likes her somewhat. well it turned out that i was wrong and he told her that i told him and she immed me and was cursing me out and stuff. I tired to explain to her that i missunderstood and that i was sorry. She then told me that even if she had i had no right to tell him and that she wont ever tell me anything again. She wont even talk to me. I feel really bad about the whole thing. What shud I do?

ok well i started to like my best friend, and i was talking to him one day, and he asked me who i liked and i couldnt lie so i said it was him. acctaully, i asked him who he thought it was and he said he thought it was him, so i said it was. ever since then we've still talked and stuff, and things only feel a little different. today, i told him i didnt like him anymore. he asked me why and asked if it was because i liked someone else.. while in my head i was thinking aww i imed him back and said no, its because its screwing everything up between us. then i got booted off. but i dont know what to do, i wanna stop liking him but i cant!

ok, i have a friend who has been getting beat by her parents since she could walk maybe even before that but because of it she's been doing drugs, cutting, she doesn't eat, she can't sleep, she drinks and smokes she just does anything to get away from it she's been in and out of hospitals her whole life because she's hurt herself or because her dad has hurt her I think he's even raped her. I have this friend (we'll call her Rachel) that was my best friend for years, and another best friend that we used to hang out with all the time, and we were a trio. Now, Rachel is getting on my other friend's nerves a lot, and she is ignoring Rachel all the time. Rachel is getting to be a little annoying for me too, but I try to handle it because I don't want to get Rachel all angry at me. Rachel isn't really my best friend any more, but I don't want to hurt her feelings. Sometimes I find myself making up lies to get out of hanging with Rach, and it makes me feel terrible. Im 13, and im in 8th grade. Theres this girl, her name is Ashley. She is VERY annoying and she constantly follows me and thinks im her best friend. Shes not my best friend! I have 3 best friends and she is tearing us apart becasuse whenever I leave her for them, she gets mad, and I can't even talk to them without her there! I don't know how to get rid of her because I really want me and my best friends to hang out again without her! I know it's mean but I dont have a choice and shes very geeky and nobody really likes her! my friend ran away from home because her dad hits her and no one would help her and now the cops are out looking for her but she's afraid of going back to her house because her dad hurts her a lot he's put her in the hospital a couple times. she asked me not tell anyone where she is but now she's been staying with a druggie so she's been doing drugs and i don't want to see her get caught up in that again. how can i help her?

Im actually starting to hang out with the people ive wanted to for about two years. I talk to them online and at school. They have a group of 4 people and if I join, it would feel weird becasue it seems to me like i would be brakng into their group when they might not want anymore friends in it. Im best friends with someone who is close with them and the only time i hang out with their group is when that best friend of mine asks us all to. I want to plan something on my own and i have talked to one of the girls about it she said it would be fun but how do i know if she says that to everyone who asks her to do something. Okay, I have this friend.I love her to death, I really do. But sometimes she really gets on my nerves. For example, we are in a band together. Sometimes she makes descisions for us...which she doens't consult us on first. When we confront her about it, she acts extremly offended, as if she believes that we would all automatically differ to her opinion and is shocked that we might not like something she does. We've tried to talk to her about, but she doesn't listen!! Help?
