my best friend told me that if you apply jojoba oil to your hair before you shampoo and condition then it would get relieve dry damaged hair. is that true?

I have a lot of freakles or however you spell it and i hate them! is there a good coverup for evening our your face and covering freakles? And please don't tell me to just love the way i am. thanks in advance! <33

14/f i am going to be a freshman in highschool next year and when i get ready for school i just put my hair in a ponytail and jeans and a oversized sweatshirt. i dont take the time to get ready because my bus comes at 6:00a.m. and i dont like to wake up early. but for highschool i want to look good. not perfect...just put together. what are some ways that i can do my hair and waht style of clothes should i wear that are simple, dont take too much time to look nice (so i can sleep in alittle) and not have to wake up at 5:00. thanks! ill rate!

ok so last summer i got a haircut rite? it came out HORRIBLE, too WAY TOO short! i was so embaressed. so i went to a professional place and it got even worse. i was ALWAYS getting made fun of and i hated it. well the past school year i whore my hair up every single day! now i want my hair to grow really long but since the last haircut i got was a year ago, i dont think my hair will grow. i dont want to "get a trim" cause i want it to grow! should i just snip a tiny bit of hair off myself? please help!

ii have a seriously bad habit of biting my nails ii would love 2 have some long nails by the time school starts, does ne1 know of some really good tips and/or products or something that would get me 2 stop? -[(nail polishes? medicines?)]- any good answers get 5!! thanx loads!

new look for highschool

I'm going to be a freshman this year when highschool starts and I was wondering if I could get help with a "new look", and I mean everything! I dress kind of preppy, but also sporty at the same time. I would like a more rocker//bohemian//preppy look all mixed in one. Is this possible? Everything from what(if) I should put something in my hair, all the way down to the shoes! ((no spandex or cowboy boots please!)) I'd also like a new look, I wear eyeliner and mascara everyday, any updates? Any good brand of eyeliner that doesnt smudge, wonderful foundation for beige skin, a "flirty" pink blush, and waterproof mascara would be awesome! If anyone could give me advice on a good first day of school outfit, that would be fantas...

ok i have a really big problem. i wear a training bra and any tank tops, short sleeve shirts, or really light fabriced shirts i wear, my bra shows ALOT. and also the even bigger problem is on tank tops, my bra has a higher up arm hole so you can like see the bra alot on the arms. this has stopped me from buying new clothes, and i always try to look for the clothes that cover me up the most!! im so mad cauuse I just want to be confident and free about myself and not worry about this! its all i think about. yes, dont say ask my mom cause she always asks "well why are you being so mad, whats the problem" whenever i pass the opportunity to buy a perfectly nice shirt!its cause im too embarresed to tell her about it. the only reason i...

Its Summer 2005 and I am a 13 year old girl entering 8th grade. I have hair that is a couple inches past my shoulder when its strait but its usaly wavy inless i straiten it which takes a max of 10 minutes. I have medium thicknes so that doesnt realy stop me from doing things with my hair. I usaly pull it half up and half down with a clip or pony tail, I almost never wear it down, or I will poll it all up becuase i have to for cheerleading ( I am a cheerleader if that helps any) I need somthing diffrent! School starts in 6 weeks and i want somthing diffrent that is nice. My hair looks best when i have half of it clipped up and half down if that helps any too? Could someone give me some pictures or ideas? That would be greatly apperiated!!...

Wanted: Straight Hair!

Ok..I have reeeally curly hair. I want it to be straight but when I try to straighten it there are 2 problems:
1. It takes me 1 and a half to 2 hours to get it completely straight.
2. My hair only stays straight for a day or overnight..even if I just straightened it.
Are there any easier ways to make my hair straight and make it stay straight for a while?

My hair is curly frizzy and not nice to work with. in my opinion its DISGUSTING!!!! i get many compliments on my curls, but i hate them. I own a rele crappy flat iron! idk if i should get my hair chemically straightened, but i want to. I cant take my hair anymore!! what r ur thoughts about getting my hair straight and w/ less frizz?

Dim Down Blonde High-Lights

I got my hair highlighted & it was WAY to bright, it makes my skin look pail & everthing, & it was supposed 2 b in streeks, but the lady made it look more, everywhere...
anyway, is there a way I can dim it down afew shades without having 2 go back & dye it again?

Abercromie Kids Bathing Suit

Ok so I am slim 13/f. And a pool party is coming up, i mostly shop at Abercromei Kids. I never really looked at it but I swa that they had a white and dark blue bathing suit. Does anyone have one and ould you tell me the cost, and if its a good batihng suit, also does it have padding

Ok, there are alot of gals who wear their shorts with holes in them. And they do not wear grannie pannies. They wear thongs. So it is gross seeing their butt. Do you think I should just go up and say " Hey I can see your butt cheek" or what?

i live around chicago IL, and were having a drought, so its really hot around here. it gets really humid - and my hair is naturally wavy. if i scrunch it and wear it curly, it gets frizzy, and if i straighten it and wear it straight, it doesnt stay striaght, it puffs up etc. i have to go to summer school every day from 8-12, and i have very thick and quite long hair, what are some easy hair styles that i could do quick in the morning that doent look sloppy?
