I've been a cheerleader for 5 years. I'm trying out for my schools squad once again next month; football squad to be exact. I'm afraid I won't make it; I excel at everything in cheerleading except for tumbling. After I hurt my knee last year; I lost all my tumbling and I have a horrible mental block. The football squad is pretty much all tumblers, I really wanna make this squad for my mom, it means alot to her. But I don't know what to do, do you guys have any tips on how to get over this mental block?

I was wonderin if you guys could edit this cheer for me???. I'm trying out for Freshman squad (May 11th) So any tips would help a lot but i cant edit this cheer if my life depended on it and its realy not good at all.. thanks sooo much! you dont know how much i need this.

How can I get started in skateboarding? There's no one around to help me but I see it in movies and it looks interesting. I'm too scared to ask the people at the skatepark because I am a girl, which should not be a problem but there might be. I have a board and can ride it.

Hey my name is Ashley. Im 15 years old and i've been on the cheerleading squad for 3 years. But this year for tryouts we have to make up a 8 count dance. So i was wondering are there any ideas online possibly that will help me create a dance for cheerleading? Tryouts are next week so i need to put this together.. plezzzz help!!!!

I did alot of exercises yesterday.. I mean alot.. and my legs are like sore! I fell going up the stairs cause they were so sore today at school.. they are still sore to i have ball practice everyday and i also have gym how could I get my legs from not being sore?

yea so im a 15/f i really like basketball & id love to play next year but im so nervous because there are a limited amount of spots! in 7th, 8th, & 9th grade seasons i played post, but because im not exactly the tallest im having to change to guard. im really worried about dribbling & outside shots any one got anything i can practice?!

ok i take modern, and as you may or may not know, its basically ballet without any shoes. I have a problem though. I cant turn because my feet always get stuck. Ive tried putting powder on them before i leave my house but it doesnt work. How can i make my feet tougher and easier to turn on? thanks

i played softball 2 years ago and i tore tendons in my knee. the doctor told me to stay off it and quit softball but i really wanted to finish the season. so i did and my knee ever healed right.
so a few days ago i started track and today we did ladders and my knee gave out like 4 times and now i cant walk on it. i wear a knee brace thing (the elastic kind) and i was just wonderin if anyone knew excercises or ways to get my knees more durable and resistance when i run.

i'm so stressed out about track!
i even missed school because of it today ( and my headache )
i'm a runner && at practice i do fine! its like not really hard but i sweat, ya kno.
but heres the thing, i'm not mighty super fast ( sign ) nor can i run like miles at a time.
its really stress-ful because i'm like average at everything. so yesterday i went to throwing. i'm so frusterated! i can run a mile fine in like under 12 minutes but i CAN'T run a quarter mile under 2 minutes. i'm so ahhh..
please give me like advice, encouragement, or sumthing. i was supposed to have been signed up for an event already, but i'm not. meet is tomorrow @ 4:15

does working out at the age of 16 slow your growth sprunt. can stop you from growing. if you work out 2 hours every otherday.

i started doing track and my muscles hurt SOOO BAD. I do all the exercises and we do stretching too. Like 2 hours each day. My thigh's, legs, feet, stomach, upper back, head and THROAT all hurt. I am getting sick from it, i don't get why and i have to keep doing track for like the next 3 monthes. I don't want to be sore for 3 monthes. help

I'm a 7th grader and i'm pretty good at ball i play for the highschool jv team and i'm atleast in the top 6. I don't have a lot of confidents so i tend to not to play as hard. How could I get my confident up?

I'm doing track and field. Yesterday was the first day. I'm not much of a runner, I do the field events, but yesterday all we did was run. Now my thighs are killing me. I have track again tomorrow and we're going to run the 100 meter most of the time. How can I stop my legs from hurting? How can I prevent them from hurting?
