Can you really make it rain with a raindance?

We were learning in school about Native American Indians and what they believed before we took over the land and everything. I know from childhood they used to show Indians doing rain dances for their crops. My teacher was answering a question and said they really did do raindances to bring on the rain from the rain god or something. Maybe this is stupid and maybe it's not but do rain dances really cause it to rain? I don't get it.

It wasn't much blood, just a little bit of it, it didn't hurt at all, I had barely noticed it until I looked for a while. I'm just a little worried. I had just woken up a few minutes before. Now I want to drink like 50 glasses of water to clear everything out. They said it's not serious. But I'm scared to pee. It was bloody semen, I have not urinated yet. A couple of days ago, I did hold my urine for a long while in the car. Maybe I held it too long & it's healing. I don't know? What should I do? What should I Eat/drink? It happened a few minutes ago.

so i'm a freshman in college and i feel like all my friends are just throwing themselves out there, like its the college thing to do. but i don't like being a slut, i'm the only one whos still a virgin because i feel like i haven't found the right guy yet. even all the guys i've messed around with i've felt a connection with, like i actually cared about them. i'm not into one night stands but i feel left out when all my friends talk about it:/ not to brag but i am a pretty girl and guys do try to get with me but i'm just not into it, i want a serious boyfriend...what should i do?

17|f. ughhh i have this random red spot on the tip of my nose! i got it about 7-8 months ago & it wont go away. its not raised & was never a pimple. i wash my face twice a day & that hasnt helped. i exfoliate. ive tried those blackhead strips. i even got a facial & its still there!! i finally got rid of all my acne then this shows up it drives me crazy. does anyone know how i could get rid of it? thanks.

Taking A Year Out of University: Volunteer Opportunities?

Hi, im taking a year out, and going to university once this year finishes. Im just wondering if people have any ideas as to what i can do? I want to do some charity work, but wondering how to go about that.
I also want to volunteer at lawyers' offices, or at the office of my local newspaper, how would i go about contacting them and asking them?
Any other idea's as to what i can do will be useful also :)

SORRY!!! I know this is long... but I wanted every single thing I can remember... Just in case, I guess...Again, sorry it's so long...
This is a reoccurring dream I've had for awhile now, and I know it's long.. but I sleep until the afternoon...so I guess my mind has a lot of time. But once in awhile, I only have the ending (I'm basically in his arms the whole time, just crying silently) But usually, it's the whole story...and I can't figure out what it means! Nor why it won't leave me alone! For the record; I'm 16. And I had broken up with my ex boyfriend (the first person mentioned) beCAUSE he was too nice and such. He didn't have much fun, or anything. And a couple days ago I got a prank call and it wasn't until a few days...

Snowy Honeymoon in SUMMER

My boyfriend and I are looking to get married soon, but we have run into a problem. I really want a sunny wedding day (since I live in seattle, this would mean it would have to be in May-August). However, for our honeymoon, we both really want snow. We aren't skiers or anything, we just think the snow is very romantic. Where are nice places we could go for our honeymoon during the summer and still see snow? Thanks!

Okay asked this before and here is more details. Is it okay to call a celebrity who is semi-retired and reportedly loves his fans? Im no stalker and got advice from someone who's a fan of this person as am I and this person and said to try and add your info to see if the person calls and added your info and all from another fan of this celeb and the person said they got a phone call from this person by doing so without asking. Went ahead and done the advice but wondering if if I should call or wait to see if the person calls? Found the number to call some time ago and just took someone elses advice to do a letter which was suggested. Should i wait or call? I asked around and it's 50/50. LOL I need to know this thanks!

i don't have a job, and i don't drive. and i wont be able to take the test till december. i need to make some extra money, but i can't find out how! does anyone have any ideas of some easy stuff that i could do? maybe something that i can do online that would be REAL money? like they send me a paycheck? thanks for everything. any ideas are appreciated. :)

How can I learn to speak Spanish?

I am going to go travel to Mexico next spring and I want to be able to speak some Spanish there. I don't have to be like FLUENT but a decent amount is good. I don't want to look stupid and say words wrong so I need some audio or an instructor that can listen to me and help me pronounce the words right. Where can I find some place to teach me how to speak Spanish?

they're black, and they have silver D and G on the sides of the handles.

they look like that, but mine arent rinestone. mine are just plain silver. and the D is kinda being the G. on both sides. when you fold them in, both the sides make it say DG, DG. behind those, there is a little DG logo, only on one side though, and it's backwards. on the inside, of the right hand...

My Elbow. What is this?

Well in 8th grade, I banged the back of my elbow hard on a wooden chair. I'm in 10th now and my elbow still Clicks & cracks when I move it in different ways. It does not hurt at all, nor does it affect the use of my arm. What can I do to fix it and how long might it last? I never thought much of it, but now I'm wondering if it will start bothering me as I get older. I'm kind of worried about the cracking of it. Is there any type of: stretch, massage,Food, motion, twists, pulls, hits, or techniques to stop the cracking & clicking?

Hey my husband is deploying to Afghanistan October 31st of this year and i want to get a tattoo to show my love and support for him. I thought about the yellow ribbon with dog tags but talking to him about it he isnt a fan of the yellow ribbon and i want it to be something we both like.
