Are energy drinks bad for you? People say after the energy wears off, it all crashes and you feel SOOO tired. And how much energy does it give you? And is Red Bull or Rockstar good brands of them?

I can get my horse on the bit, but i cant keep him on it unless he's really calm. Like, if i was just at a slow trot and getting him into a canter he comes off the bit and have to get him back on it. If anyone knows anyway tofix this, please help! ( ihave a competition in a couple of weeks!)

Today i went to a meeting at school for anyone interested in being on the cross country team next year. a couple of my friends are on the team so i thought i'd go and be on the team next year. The coach said we need to be ready August 7th to run 7 miles. I came home and couldnt even run one! i'm determined to do it, but i need help thinking of a workout plan, any ideas?

i want to try out for cheerleeding next year. i have never really done any cheers or twirls or jumps or whatever. but i really want to make it next since all my friends are. does anyone know if there is like dvds books anything that can teach me anything at all. what are the warm-ups you do? do you have to run (i don't think so but maybe). what gear do i have to buy? like any info you can give me i will rate...
and if theres someway i can learn a cheer that would be awesome thanxx alot

okay well i am on my highschool cheer team and i am a back in my stunt group. before we go to camp we must have an extension. You know all the way up. well our flyer is brand new never cheered let alone flown before. we have a real good double base with craddle and just got a push up (double base pushing up to extension -- some people call it different things) well camp is at the end of the month and like i said we need a straight up extension. ive tried every peice of advice i could give our flyer but is there anyother tips i could give her to get over her fear and get her up easier? thanks sooo much =]

so i want to loose some wait this summer (20-40 pounds) i am not over wait i just feel fat because i have big bones. i was wonder how long should i go to the gym everyday. i dont want to over do it. and usual i only eat twice a day is that health?

Is color gaurd popular like cheerleader, because my sister said that it was like being a cheerleader, but i dont know if that is true or not?

Are color gaurd people treated like how the cheerleaders are? (popular or not?)

I want to join the flag twirlers team. Sorry, i cant remembe exactly what it is called, but i know that it starts with a "c."
I just wanted to know if they were considered like unpopular, or are they more like cheerleaders?
Also, is it hard to be a flag twirler?

Do you have to be a twig to join a water pollo team?
I have muscles in my arms, but not a whole lot in my legs. I have some, but not a whole bunch.
Also, is there anything that i can do to make my legs smaller?

I have alot of black heads on my nose, and a bunch of pimples on my forehead and my temples. They aren't like big and red, just alot of bumps. I've used dozens of acne medicines (Noxzmea, Clean and Clear, Clearasail just to name a few) and nothings ever gotten rid of them. My mom doesn't have the money for ProActive, or the dermatologist, so what are some ways to get rid of my acne once and for all!

i am not very athletic. I hate running, and i'm not particulary competitive. I dont like being responsible for things on a team because i'm always scared i'll let the team down.Also i hate practices where you have to do sprints and drills esp. since i'm not a fast runner. I take dance and i play a little tennis but i'm not particularly good at eaither. What would be a good sport for me to play?

I am a 17 year old male. For almost a year, I have wanted to get into a habit of running every day, eventually getting up to about 5k a day... I need to do it to lose weight, and also because I want some firmer calves. I have issues with it though.
1. I recently got knee surgery.
2. I have a large fear of my calves doing a thing which I've seen male calves do. Male calves tend to tighten up the leg towards the knee, and the thin ankle section goes up about 1/3 of the way... I find this disgusting and don't want it. I want more of the female variety where the calves get harder, yet not shorter.
3. I just can't get motivated for some reason. I can't make it into a habit, and it goes to waste.
How do I start? And what do I do?

i have no idea if people have asked this before or what, but even if they did, please try to answer? its somewhat long; i apologize ahead of time.
ok, so i'm pretty much an athletic person. I play almost any sports and play on two teams at school. However, even though im not that bad with sports and i totally love playing, i have a horrible issue with running/conditioning. Like, i can run short distances really fast, but i cant run for very long. I can run longer if i have breaks inbetween too. but if i run consistently without stopping, my legs start to burn and i cant breathe.
I cant stand miles because afterwards i end up not being able to breathe for a while. Like for one practice we ended up runni...
