What can I do to ensure that I will be able to start pointe in the fall? (I have to please my teacher and it is totally her choice wether or not I can take pointe) Do you think I need to loose weight for this? Thank you so much

Hey guys. Right now, I'm a bit sad. For as long as I can remember, my number one priority in life has been softball. It's all I ever wanted to do. When, I lived with my mom, it was all I ever DID. I moved in with my dad when I was about 9, going on 10. I still played softball, and I still loved the game with all my heart. I made all-stars every year I played. Then, one year after we lost a game, my all-star coach made us practice right afterwards. We were all too hot and worn out, and my dad was furious with this, and told my coach I quit. This happened when I was about 12. Ever since then, I haven't made the all-stars team, and I see myself becoming worse and worse. I would do anything to play softball in college, but I don't think I'm goi...

Softball

Posted Thursday June 29 2006, 8:49 pm

I was just wondering if anyone has been to the ASA Hall of Fame Stadium (that might not be the name) in Oklahoma City. It's where the Women's College World Series is held, and where they are holding the World Cup of Softball this year. Anyway, my question is, do they have a gift shop? Or somewhere to buy t-shirts? Because I told my friend I would get her a t-shirt. Thanks in advance for your help.

Cheerleading Mental Block.

Posted Tuesday June 27 2006, 7:27 pm

I`ve been a cheerleader for almost 6 years, all-star for 4 and rec for two. I just cheer for my school`s squad now. I have the worst mental block. I was working on my full, then one day I went in and couldn`t even throw a handspring. I never got hurt and my tumbling was beautiful and fluent. What happened? I want to tumble so badly now, but when I try I get freaked out and can`t get myself to go backwards. I haven`t been able to tumble in 2 and a half years, horrible I know. I can tumbling with a light spot, or even just someone standing there, but when they step away I freak. I`ve tried, "Just throwing it" and imagining myself doing it perfectly but none of that works. Can anyone help me? I want to get all my tumbling back cause ...

Ready for Soccer Camp?

Posted Monday June 26 2006, 1:38 pm

I have soccer camp all month long in august and the coach said "your not going to the camp to get fit.. you have to be fit before coming to the camp" and everyone that has been to that camp said you run almost the entire time. I'm really worried that I'm not fit for the camp. I try to go out and run, but I'm never motivated. I'm not motivated to do any kind of exercise, but I really want to. I'm not what you call a fast runner. I'm better with my soccer footwork then running, and it's always going to be like that. Anyway, is there any way I can get more motivated and more fit before camp starts? thanks in advance =]

Twirling Rolls

Posted Thursday June 22 2006, 4:05 pm

Baton Twirling:
I know the United States Of America has a "Roll Badge", and this year it's coming to i think Australia and Canada. I was just wondering if anyone who has it could tell me what types of rolls are on it? long arm rolls, or like just elbow rolls, or something even more complicated.

Please don't answer this if you think a baton twirler is just a parade leader.....
Thanks

rollerblading

Posted Tuesday June 20 2006, 8:54 pm

I just went rollerblading for the first time this year and my feet ached so bad I had to stop. I rollerbladed last year and was fine. My rollerblades are the same as last year, and I'm the same size as last year. Does anyone know why my poor feet ache so much? Thanks.
