I have to take Astronomy and English, but I don't know what other class I should take. I feel really pressured and stressed out right now so I know this is something simple but I'm having trouble making even small decisions.

How can I pass the time while waiting to hear back from colleges?

I have 2 1/2 months before I go off to a big college.
I'm bored out of my mind while I take classes at my current private college and work part-time.
I already got accepted into one college, but I'm waiting on a response from the other two which could take up until mid December. One of them is a Uni that I REALLY want to get into, but we'll see. I also can't wait to rush for a sorority. I know I might not get in, but I really hope to, I spend a ton of time researching sorority life.
I can barely tolerate my current life though and I find myself aggravated everyday because I have nothing to do in my small hometown. All of my friends have already moved off to college so I have nobody to hang out with an...

Should I change my major to one I like or stay with what's dependable?

I started nursing school in February. I originally was just going to go for an AA and then found out that nurses with AA's wind up doing all the lower level stuff and decided I wanted to transfer in January to a Uni to do a BSN.
Now I'm almost through my first year of nursing and I'm not so sure I want to make this my career. I like learning about the body, but I don't think I'm up for dealing with angry, injured, sick people for the rest of my life. At first I just figured "Well I'll just go straight for a Masters and do something specialized and not so hands on like Anesthesia" but a Masters is so far away and will cost so much money in tuition.

Hi. I'm an English major in second year in Puerto Rico. The thing is that I used to be in Geology but changed majors because the mathematical side overwhelmed me barely starting out. Lately I've been so out of it, so unmotivated to do anything, that I decided English just wasn't making me as happy as I thought it would. I'm thinking about going to the US to do a double major in Geology, Psychology, or Studio Art. I love those three. Geology is really cool - yes, there's the math factor I have to work out, but I promised myself that I wouldn't give up so easily - and I'm particularly interested in Mineralogy, being a person who loves rocks and identifying them, I think its a good place to start. Lost about the future

In just a few days, I have my final school exams which will determine whether I'll be attending university or not, which I'm sure I'll get into my desired course, but beside that Its like I'm losing motivation and focus and don't really understand why I'm doing what I'm doing. Like one minute I want to completely give up and I question what I'm doing with my life and the next I force myself to do the work despite not knowing where it will take me. At this point I'm completely uncertain about my life and don't know where my head is at. I just got accepted into a University in another city, how to prepare?

First of all, I'm a transfer student so I have a little bit of college experience (around 9 months) but I currently attend a small private school. My issue with my current school is that I don't feel like I'm getting much out of it and it didn't feel like a real "college" experience. I always had the highest grades and was surrounded by a bunch of middle aged or older adults who just weren't interested in even trying to become friends or do well in their classes. It's also in a small town that I didn't want to be stuck in for a while (especially since I live with my mom).

I am an Indian by nationality. from initial years of my schooling I have been a good learner and a great student at almost all subjects. I had an inclination in science and English language and wanted to work as a doctor or an editor as I grow up. I decided to go for medicine as a career but could not make it due to financial crisis and scarce seats in colleges. anyhow, I started with b.sc. in botany last year as it offered a safer landing to my career after JRF,M.Sc.Ph.D etc as a lecturer. but now it turns out to me that I can change my avenue by opting M.A. journalism or M.A. English and try to up bring my notion to be an editor or that sort of stuff. messed in my own dilemmas, I gave a sort of career test few days ago, it only added fuel...

Academic Withdrawal

I had previously been placed on academic dismissal from a graduate program, but had gotten permission to withdraw from the university, and now I have a grade of "W" on my transcript (where i had hoped I could just drop the class and not have it appear on my record).
How would this look to other universities, in case I decide to apply to different programs at a future date?

When I first started at the college I'm currently enrolled at they told me the total cost of my tuition for 2 years would be around 22k. I took out a loan to cover the first year of $10,500 and then I also had two stafford loans that were around $5k together, so all together I had 15.5k out in loans.
Fast forward to now, I'm 4 months in and they've somehow used up ALL OF MY LOANS and they're saying that I'm only financially covered through the end of the next three weeks (or this quarter of classes). To make things even crazier I've only taken three classes at the campus and the rest were online. So they've charged me $15,500 for only 4 months of schooling and of course they don't accept scholarships.

Groped someone while drunk, and I feel awful

Hello all. I'm a 19 year old female college student. Several months ago, whilst black out drunk at my friend's apartment, I groped his roommate. I have no recollection of this, but apparently I rubbed the guy's crotch. Several people were in the room with us at the time. I think he asked me to stop and I believe I did.
The next day, my friend's roommate was discussing the events of the previous night with my friend, and said something like, "if the roles were reversed, and I did that to her, she'd be calling the police." Appealing University Dismissal

I was dismissed from my university due to clinical performance, within one week. I had not brought medical issues to the university's attention- but I have gotten a full neuropsychiatric evaluation upon further reflection, and there I have issues relating to ADD that have contributed to my performance in graduate school, and the recommendation is to appeal and ask for medical leave. Because this is all happening after the fact, what is the likelihood of the department reversing their decision and actually granting medical leave? Am I protected by law in this case (I.e, disability)?

Withdrawal from university

I was dismissed from a masters program for not maintaining professionalism and adequate clinical performance--this was so sudden, within one week of starting clinical work. I was required to monitor my well-being. I requested complete withdrawal from the university and this has no been processed yet. I believe I acted hastily and not in the right state of mind. Can I go back on my decision and request a medical leave instead? I would be willing to provide documented proof of medical management of stress and anxiety, from here on out, so that I can remain in the program.

I'm from Malaysia, Junior university student and I wanted to go to Italy to study medicine. However, I don't know what to start and how. I have some plans as well. First, i need to take IMAT but I don't really know what to do when I get there i Italy and how to start a life there. Please help me. I don't really know what to start to plan. I want to study in America but I have to do job there to pay my tuition fees. Could I be able to maintain time between study and job there? I am a Bangladeshi boy. I've completed my higher secondary school. Now I want graduation and I want to study abroad. I prefer America. My parents can afford to sponsor me and one of my uncle lives there in New York. In addition, I am gonna giving my IELTS exam soon. But I have some doubt If I can't survive there. If New York is expensive then I want to study anywhere in USA.
