Senior Pics

My senior pictures are coming up. My face isn't fat but for some reason in all my school pictures my face looks fat and huge. and only in school pictures because all the ones on my myspace and stuff aren't like that. What can i do so it wont look like that in my senior pictures, i'd really like for them to be good.

there is this girl at my school that is a total bitch to everyone including me. she is really rude to me and my friends and says bad things about them to me. it bothers me alot but i just keep my mouth shut. i want to stick up for myself but i want to be the bigger person and blow up on her. should i keep quiet or say something?

What is the origin of the cowboy?

Hi... I know that this isn't the easiest of questions... but I would appreciate it if you could give it your best shot... I'm kinda desperate ;)
I'm doing a project on cowboys. My topic is the origin of the cowboy. I've looked on the internet and Google-ed it but all I have is a general answer: that the cowboy is from Spain and originated from the Spaniards. But if I'm going to do an entire project on this topic, I'm going to need to be way more specific (i.e. why did the Spaniards need the cowboy? what opted them to become cowboys?). Also, by origin, I don't think my teacher meant the origin of the AMERICAN cowboy. I think he meant cowboy in general. I mean, before the Spaniards... I need myths, tales, and legends. You know,...

Backpack madness!

I am looking for a wacky, crazy, funky, fun (etc.) large backpack for school that almost nobody would have that doesnt cost too much (up to $30) i looked all over the internet! and at target and walmart i just dont know what to do all the backpacks are so plain and boring! i need major help! thanks!

School Enrollment?

So I was just thinking, and I'm getting kinda worried... Is it true that when you enroll for school, they give out locker numbers out in order? Do you know what I mean? (I'm a freshman in high school by the way.) Like if one person enrolls and gets locker #387, would the person right after them get locker #388? Is it true that if you enroll before or after (or on the same day) with your friend(s) you'll have lockers close to them or right by them? Maybe it depends on the school, but I'm just curious. I think I'm enrolling on the last day possible and this is not giving me a good feeling. I really don't want a 'bad' locker or anything. Can anyone give me any info on this? Sorry if this was confusing!

I am going into eighth grade this coming school year and I can either go to a school where my beach house is while my house gets redone (I am going to be living in my beach house either way) or go to the school in the town i am in now, 30 min away from my beach house. i dont have many friends but i am starting to make some. i dont know which school to go to. advice??

Im going into my senior year (2010) and im really far behind in credits. To make matters worst, my councilor is an idiot and gets things wrong all the time when it comes to my classes and grad progress.
My biggest fear right now is that im not going to graduate with my class. Im going to completely dedicate myself to my school work this year, but i also have to have a job for co-op, which is only two credits.
I really want to go to college, but there's no money there for me. And obviously i've been really stupid in terms of keeping up with school. My parents aren't too concerned with any of it, they just want me out of the house soon. I turn 18 in November. If I stay in high school I can live here until i gra...

i'm going to be a junior in high school & i think its really time i start narrowing my career path. these are the 3 jobs i'm considering: geologist/mineralogist, nutritionist, psychologist.anyways, does anyone know a good website where i can like find if its like a job that needs people right now, salaries, good colleges for it, etc., etc.
i'm basically looking for a career site .. anybody know of one?

A kid at school really dosnt talk at all.even when questions are asked.I would like to be his friend.at lunch he sits at a bench and twidles his thumbs and has his head looking at the ground.he seems abused and or lonley.sat with him many times before and invited him to sit W/ me and asked his name and told him my name even.what should i say and do? please help me make his life a little better.i am 13 years old a male

hey i am going into high school in september and i am kinda scared. everyone says it is awesome but others say theirs drugs (especially at our school) and that since i am new to the school they dont really care about you. i also dont wanna take the bus to school. i'm really interested in starting cyber school but i can't seem to find one in my state! when i google it, most the links are for PA... can somebody help me find a cyber school thats approved for connecticut??

We have to write a short story and I'm really good at English but not making my own stories. But I had thsi really vivid dream and when i think back, I can imagine it like a movie. If I use it, would it be considered cheating? Or should I just think of something else up? I'm not good with due dates when writing a story.

basically im shit at german. don't try and tell me to keep trying it, cos i have been for four years and i still don't know the basics. its kinda holding me back and i go to a private school where everyone is annoyingly smart and its worrying me about dropping a subject, so i thought i would do a drama gcse out of school because i always wanted to do drama but i couldn't. could anyone, teachers or students tell me if they or someone they know had an experience either doing drama gcse out of school and/ or starting late because its summer term yeart ten, and my stupid school only told me now that i could drop out of it and do somthing out of school, and i don't mind working my arse off during the holidays to scrape a decent grade in drama ...
