teenagers please

I would like teenagers to answer this one,
My daughter is 13. But the clothes she wears are not...happy. She always is sarcastic. She listens to strange, loud music. Is this the fashion these days? Should I let her be?

My REALLY thick hair

My hair is abnormally thick and is really wavy. I want to be able to wear it down instead of in a ponytail all the time. But t takes like an hour and a half to straighten and i dont have time to do that every morning before school. Are there any products i can use or any ways i can style it?
(oh, and it also gets very frizzy when i wear it down)

i hate my hair

ohkay so i have naturally wavy hair, the only thing i can do with my hair is straighten it, i really want to be able to like scrunch it or curl it, does anyone have any ideas on like a mouse or spray i can put in my hair as to where it will scrunch or curl easier (( please not expensive!!))

8th grade dinner/dance

Okay well i just got my dress for the dance.. but now i still need other things/.
My dress is brown with pink polka dots and a pink robbon around it, then it 's shortish and poofs at the bottom. It's Jessica Mc Clintock. It's cute.
Okay, then i need shoes and i was thinking maybe these brown one's i saw at Nordstroms but i'm not sure.
I'm getting my hair done and makeup. Now, For my hair,I have medium-dark brown hair. It's about 2-3 inches past my shoulders. In 3 months it shoudl also grow longer. I have wavy/curly hair . For makeup, I have fairish skin with light freckles. I want something bold and different. I still want it to be cute though with the whole dress thing.
I also don't know what assecories ...

hair still looks dark after dying it

Today I went to the salon and I wanted to dye my hair into a brown color. My hair was orginally black but after the stylist was done, it still looks black. The stylist said that since right now there is no sun and itz cloudy I wouldn't notice the color until itz sunny. The thing is I sort of notice that in the light itz a little lighter at the roots but the rest still looks black. So my parents are really pissed off at me cause they are telling me that I wasted their money and they said that it still looks the same. Will it look lighter when itz sunny?

hair dye

I'm gettin my hair dyed tomorow and i need some help picking out a color. here is about what my hair looks like now

(its dyed if you cant tell it looks alot darker up near my roots). my mom says she thinks my hair would look cute light but my eye brows are like black (darker than in the pic) and they color needs to be easy to do because my mom is doing it (so no more than 2 colors like a color for my whole head then like highlights or soemthing).
and how much does sallys hair dye cost per box about?

a new color for a red head

okay i have longish red hair and have been wanting to dye it for the past like 4 years and i've highlighted it, put in lowlights and finally come to the conclusion that i just need to dye it a different color all together.. i tried asking my friends what color i should dye it and they all say "don't dye your hair! its such a pretty color!" but i dont like it and i think its more important for me to like my hair than other people.... anyways enough blabber...
i have light skin with freckles and greenish blue eyes, and i have not the slightest clue of what color to dye it and i need help deciding what would look best on me

so I got a 2nd hole on the lobe of my ear 6 weeks ago, and it's time for me to finally take it out.
but I try to remove the backing, and it's being stubborn && won't come off!
are there any tricks to help me get it off?

haircut

Hey, I'm getting my haircut tomorrow and I know I want something a little different, but I have no idea what! I was thinking of maybe short layers in the front and long layers in the back, but I'm not sure. Right now, my hair is about 3 inches below my shoulder, and I want just 1 inch off. I saw the infomericals for sheer cover and bare minerals. And I was wondering which one works better? Does Nordstrom sell sheer cover or bare minerals? If you've tried one of these powders, could you tell me about your personal experience?

One Piece Bathing Suits

I decided this year to skip over the bikini for a one piece bathing suit because I have a chunky stomach...but I have no idea where to get a cute one at!! All the one pieces I see are all ugly. I really dont want to wear a bikini because I feel self-conscious but I may have to resort to that if I cant find a good one-piece, something cute and sexy. So please help me! scrunching

ugh i have scrunching gel and it works pretty good, ok, but whenever i scrunch my hair, it doesn't really get scrunchy, it just gets wavy. i put hairspray in it and wet my hair before. girls at my school scrunch their hair and it looks wet and really scrunchy all day. idk how they do itt. any tips ? thanks<3

ok, i have a really bad case of split ends, and in order to get rid of them all, id have to cut my hair short. http://tinypic.com/view/?pic=rlzww9 thats what i look like, i blocked out my face, and the red lines are where i would have to cut my hair to. my straightener

ok, my straightener just plain out SUCKS(excuse my language) Its a ceramic hair straightener i got from a store in my mall called essentials. It only goes up to 230 degrees F. I want to get a new one. A CHI straightener. I dont want to order online though. I live in staten island New York, the city. Does anyone know any places around there i can get them? and how much are they? ♥

ok im 13/f, turning 14 this year and i really want to get a second hole in my ear. the problem is, my mom wont let me. how can i convince her to let me get one? and another thing, does it hurt? becuase i got my first hole when i was a baby and dont really remember it...thankss ♥dAnieLLe
