The National Guard/Reserves.

Has anyone been in the national guard/reserve? How was your experience there? How much did much money did you receive every month?
And how much did you have to work? Is it possible for me to be a full-time college student while serving? Which reserve force do you prefer: army, marine, navy, coast guard, or air? And finally, do you have to maintain the military haircut as long as you're serving?

Work Expierience

So in Australia in year 10 we have this thing called 'Work Expierience' you do I think 1-2 weeks of work at a proper workplace.
Most people just work in fast food/supermarket or with their parents but I want to do something different.
When I'm older I'd love to work as a journalist or in television so where do you think I should apply to work? You have to remember if I applied at like...a TV station or something they would get thousands of other people applying.
I still have a year and a bit until I do it, but I wanted to think ahead.

job at a hospital

I am a 14 year old female going into my freshman year in michigan. I have found out that i would like to go into nursing and i would like to be a pediatritian, i am looking for a job that i could do after school at Beaumont Hospital starting off as a filing person then working my way up, i would like this job to last until my senior year of high school or for longer. Would this be possible and if so who should i contact? Please help!

animal jobs

I love animals. Basically, anything cute and fuzzy. I'm not too crazy about lizards, snakes, and the like. Horses are my number one love. I also love dogs, cats, and birds. What are some careers having to do with animals that pay pretty decent?

I'm a 17 year-old girl and I'm at my first job (I'm not going to name it). I love working at this place because the people I work with are fun, it's right by my house (which is good, since I can't drive yet), the rules aren't strict and I've gotten used to everything.
Here's the problem, I'm about to start my senior year in high school AND I'm going to be getting my driver's license in about a month. When I graduate, I'd LOVE to move out and get an apartment. When I get my license, I'd LOVE to get a car. Thing is, I don't get many hours which means I don't get that much money. I've tried talking to my boss about it, but he says that we have a certain amount of hours we're allowed to give out each day/week and when we ope...

Hey, my identical twin and I are 14 and we are looking for a modeling job, we live in the Dallas, Tx area... we are used to being in front of a camera and are very determined. Also...we have dirty blond hair, hazel green/brown eyes, and we are average hight. Thanks!

job problem

15/f. i turned 16 in september so my parents tell me that i need to get a job. ok i'm fine with getting a job and i am planning on working at the same place that my older sister works. they have really good, flexible hours and they pay well. but the only problem is that my parents go away every weekend (fri to sun) so i wouldn't have a ride to and from work on weekends. and my parents told me that i would have to walk.
the thing is that i REALLY REALLY don't want to have to walk to work. its a 20 minutes walk and i would have to cross a major street. it scares me to have to walk this alone and cross that road.
so what do i do? i would have to walk to work on weekends until i can get my license which wouldn't be until late march. so what do i do?

Okay, I'm a 14 year old in Bellevue, Washington, and I'm going to be 15 in about 6 months.. I know, thinking ahead, but I was wondering about jobs. I've been looking around on the Net, (McDonald's, Starbucks, Target, etc.) and I can't seem to find any places that accept 15 year old's for jobs. McDonalds didn't state what age, Starbucks said 16, and yeah. It had a pretty good starting pay too, so any advice? please? Stores? chains?

I need help finding a job

I live in a residential home and I have 10 days to find a job.I had 21 but those days are gone.I keep filling out apps. but no one calls me back.Theres nothing wrong with me.I have my HSD.I'm over 18 but under 21.I am drug free,no felonys, and I can work any time day or night.Most places my problem is I don't have my DL or a car but other places that is not required.Does anyone know any places in St.Louis MO is hiring? And why they may not be hiring me?

I'd really like to apply for a job at Forever 21, but I've never applied for a job before and I'm kind of unsure of how to do it. On their website, you can download an application and that's totally fine but how would I go about finding out if the Forever 21 near me is accepting new employees?
I mean, I can walk into the store and ask, but who would I ask? Could I just walk up to someone who works there and ask if they're hiring? Do I need to ask for the manager?
Or, could I call the store and speak to someone? Would I need to make sure I was speaking to a manager first before I ask if they're hiring? Or can I just ask whoever picks up the phone?
Is it possible to email a specific store and ask...

i'm 14 years old and i want a job very badly. my parents have been low on money so it's hard for them to get me stuff and give me money for the movies, etc. so i'd like to have a job to pay for my own things and to start saving for a car and college and such.
i've tried all the mcdonalds around me and have gotten turned down because two weren't really hiring. so any ideas and any places that hire 14 year olds? i live in Ohio, and i'd like it to be an all year thing not just summer, thanks so much :]

Finding the right place

I have troubles finding jobs that i can work at. My friend asked a local skating rink if they hire under16 they said no.I'm really confused cause it thought i could maybe ask if they hire but after hearing my friend i'm total out of ideals on where to ask.

med school

ok so like i know how theres anesthesiologists, neurologists, orthopedists, etc.. which im thinking is what i want to go to school for. BUT im alot more squeemish with people than i am with animals. so id rather be a vet, but could i still just be an anesthesiologist, etc, for them? do they get paid as much as people doctors? do i still have to go to school for the same amount of time? do i need to study medicine or be a vet tech or anything like that before i go on to study anesthesia or bones or whatever i decide? any help is appreciated =]

I really need to find a job.
I started driving alone about two weeks ago, and now I need to start paying for gas and I just need more spending money.
Any ideas on ANYWHERE I could get a job?
I really dont want to work anywhere like McDonalds or fast food or waitressing.

14/F- I have my life pretty much planned out at this point. I want to become a cardiac surgeon and once I get at that point I want to open a over night spa and i want it to be big ( while Im still a cardiac surgeon)do you think my dream is to much or do you think I should go for it-Thanks
