I'm not happy with my job. Should I quit?

Posted Monday October 12 2009, 9:04 pm

I'm currently a teacher. I've switched schools three times now. This is my sixth year teaching. I would like to quit teaching in December and go to graduate school to get my certification in paralegal studies. I've always had such a huge interest in law and I feel that I should pursue that. Financially, I believe that I will be okay. The stress of teaching has had such a negative impact on my life, and I'm currently taking anti-depressants to get through each day. I do not have any sort of "spark" or interest in teaching and cannot quite figure out why I started doing this in the first place. What should I do?

picking a work

Posted Monday October 12 2009, 8:08 am

my humanities teacher assigned the class a research project, and the point of the project is to get to know the resources at school. she said to choose a topic that you'll be interested in that has to deal with fine arts. i chose "rap music" i wanted to know how it was considered as music. apparently.. the topic was too broad, and told me to pick a type of work.. but i'm not sure what type of work i can choose that i'll be able to find in the library. any ideas?

i'm a junior in high school, and there's a new program which i'm taking where i go to college as a high school student/college student. so i can finish up my high school and start on my college credit and graduate with my associates and my high school diploma. in the beginning of the year, everything was perfectly fine.. i was able to keep up with everything in my eight classes and get done with stuff early. but a couple of months later, it just suddenly hit me in the face... it started getting more overwhelming, more assignments and projects are handed out, i have a car i have to repair, and to do that i also work on the weekends. is there a way where i can keep everything up and not to become so stressed out about all of is? please & thank you!

Posted Thursday October 8 2009, 9:08 am

Okay, so I go to this house for extra math classes. And theres this girl let's name her B. B is so annoying! My dad has to pick her up to go to the class. but her dad doesnt. my parents dont like B's parents since they're mean to my parents. But, just because B goes to the same class as me..my parents dont want me to go to the class. But i want to go there since i can learn and I WENT THERE BEFORE HER! it's not fair...why can't i go.. and this time, my parents and B's parents are mad at each other. so my dad will take me alone to the class. without her.. do you think it's a good idea for me to go or not? will B's parent's ask my parents why we're not picking her up?? this might cause a problem too..and idk if i should go or not..but i want to go since i want to learn math...

Popular people

Posted Wednesday September 30 2009, 1:00 am

We all know that there are popular people and unpopular people at school. The popular people are usually the people who dress nicely and get all of the cute guys as b/f's. The unpopular people are totally opposite. I kinda get annoyed with the popular people because I think the only reason the guys like them is because they're popular or because they're pretty. They don't think about how nice they are. Well i just wanted to know how you felt about this. Im curious...

So there is this guy in my school that i've had a crush on for a while. It's a small school so everyone recognizes everyone and sometimes when we pass in the halls we make brief eye contact and i've also seen him turn around and look at me many times. same with his friends. I've also heard him and one of his friends talking about me before - couldn't make out what they were saying though because they were whispering.
Well today we made eye contact in the hals. and in gym class he turned around to looked at me many times. So at the end of class he came up to me and was like "my friend really likes you. he's really cute." but i just kept on walking. The thing is, i saw him wish his friends when i was hanging out with my fri...
