Thanks!

job applications. Posted Wednesday August 15 2007, 2:05 am
alright,
i currently work at a seasonal amusement park and when i applied there, lots of my friends had done it and they higher anyone who applies, so you just go and tell them that you want to work and you basically have a job. well, after summer ends, i will need another job, but i'm not sure how to go about getting one. how do i know if someone is hiring if there isn't a sign, and then what do i do to actually get an application?
no guesses, please, i could do that,
but if anyone could explain what to do, i would be v. thankful.

co-manager pay at Bath and Body Works Posted Thursday August 9 2007, 9:56 pm
I currently work at Bath and Body Works as a Sales Leader. I am looking to be promoted, but I was wondering what I should expect to make hourly. I work in an A volume store in Florida and have been with the company about 2 years. I currently make 11 an hour, which is a $4.25 raise from what I made as an associate. I am also completing my AA this year. If anyone knows or has worked there before, I'd appreciate it! Thanks!

14/f
next summer i have to get a job, and i was just wondering what kind of jobs (real ones) 15 year olds can typically get. not like babysitting or anything like that. a real job. i was thinking dunkin donuts, or an ice cream place or something like that, but if i had to have a resume, what would i put on it? i've never babysat before because my sister's always been the babysitter and i'm shy so i don't wanna like go up to people and ask.. idk like what should i do?

what am i doing wrong? Posted Tuesday August 7 2007, 5:52 pm
Since I was fifteen, I've been trying to find a job. Back then when I applied to places or asked about them hiring, they always said I had to be sixteen or older. Then I turned sixteen and everyone said I'd have to wait until I'm eighteen. I'll be turning eighteen in two weeks and I'm wondering where to go apply. I've applied at A LOT of places in the past few weeks, but I always get the same thing. They want to hire someone who matches their interests more. What I don't understand is how can you not want a seventeen, almost eighteen-year-old who has already graduated high school, about to start college, and can work almost anytime? The only times I can't work are Monday - Wednesday, and its only for 2 1/2 hours because I have college class...

okay, im moving into an apartment with two friends in september but i need a job first so i can pay for rent, a phone bill, and electricity not to mention gas and groceries. I'm not going to college this year, im going to work full time so i can save up to pay for culinary school next fall. okay, so rent will be around two hundred dollars, my cell bill is around seventy five and the electricity bill will be divided three ways and we wont be using it that much since well never be home becuz theyre going to school and working too so it will be about fifteen dollars. gas and groceries will be about fifty dollars every two weeks, mainly for gas. And ill also be paying payments on a used car that my parents are cosigning for a loan. ...
