What is the best diet that actually works?

Say you have a daily caloric limit of 1500, but you go maybe about 400-600 over for a few days. Will it make a difference whether or not you're eating healthy food? Like if I ate 800 calories in bananas would that make the scale go up as much as it would if I ate 800 (or more) calories of chocolate or cake or something?

there has to be a catch to vitamin water it cant be thatt good for you , so is there anything wrong with it?
i heard people say theres bad facts about it but i dont know them , do you?

I eat a lot of fruit. Every day I have at least 2-4 servings. I eat a variety of fruits at lunch. I know they are healthy for you, but what about the sugar? Is there something bad about eating fruit daily? I still eat veggies but only one meal as a side. Any ideas? Thanks!

So this usually doesn't happen to me, but recently I've been getting bad gas. It smells DISGUSTING and I can't hold it in. And it lasted for like 6 hours today!!! This is a major problem, I don't want people to think of me as some gross chick who farts all the time. What is causing this? How do I stop it!!??!?

about 5 days ago my current boyfriend asked me out and i got so happy that i havent been able to eat or sleep much. i force a little food down at meals but i really dont have an appetite anymore. when i think about food it seems good but then i put it in front of me and i have no desire to eat it. sometimes i feel a little sick if i start to eat, too. and in about 4 days i lost 6 pounds. i dont mind it, i was happy actually, because i was looking to lose a few pounds but i know thats not healthy. is my appetite ever going to come back?

so i feel like the only way to be social is to eat unhealthily. what are other things i can suggest to friends when we hang out? everyone always wants to go out to lunch or to a movie and then dinner, etc. what else is fun that doesn't involve food? i'm trying to lose weight. also, any advice on openhouses? they're coming up and i have a feeling i'm gonna binggeee

is it true that you're supposed to drink half your body weight? some girl told me that a couple weeks ago
i weigh 145lbs..does that mean i have to drink 72floz? 64 is the recommended daily amount.

This is for only people who are in the medical field or people who are experts on herbs, and supplements.
I (a female, 52 years old) have always been thin and have always had a fast metabolism and still do. Here are the dosages of the things I started taking a few months ago:
Kelp: 1 tablet three times a day (150mcg each tablet)
Alfalfa -1 tablet two or three times a day (500 mgs for each tablet)
Garlic - 1 tablet once in awhile (400 mgs each tablet)
Chromium Picolinate - maybe 1 tablet twice a week (200 mcgs)
And I noticed I lost weight which I do not and never wanted to do. However, how do I determine what is a good amount to take to keep my metabolism working efficient...

i think that im slowly developing an eating disorder
i find myself afraid of gaining weight
i dont binge and purge
my relationship with food isint the same
im very defencive when people say im anorexic
because i do eat
i just dont have a healthy way of eating without regreting what ive done
im 15/f 5'6" 100lbs.
im not sur if thats healthy of not
im always thinking about ways to lose weight
and today all ive eaten was yogurt
i would hate to one day call myself anorexic
i dont know how to stop this
im not happy with the way i look ...
how can i stop this ...

im 17/f. for the past 8 months or so i have had a huge problem with eating and eating and i feel like i have no control and i cant stop then i make myself throw up. i make myself throw up after eating a ton at least once or twice a day. im tired of it. i am 5'4 and 123 pounds and i want to lose weight, but i want to do it the healthy way. please help me. how do i get over this? i dont want my parents finding out so please dont say have them take me to someone. i just want a website that can help me get over it or a hotline to call or ANYTHING. please help me

I'm getting obsessed with pretzels. I have about 1/4 to 1/3 of a bag a day. Are pretzels a healthy snack choice or are they not? What if you like to dip them lightly in mustard?

ok so im 100 lbs and in the 8th grade, and i want to be smaller. i used to be the thinnest of all... then i gained. i want to be the SMALLEST of everyone i know, and i know i can do it b/c i have before. i really want to become anorexic, PLEASE, ive heard all about how it screws you up and stuff, but i want ways to BECOME anorexic, not people telling me the dangers i already know all that. if youve been anorexic before, please tell me how you did it, b/c i want to be! i havent eaten all day and when i do, i just throw it up. i dont seem to be seeing much of a difference, so please tell me how to be anorexic.
