im going into 8th grade and i want to make a good impression..like cute but appropriate...and im a tomboy that likes to look good :D...umm does anyone know what would look good on me?? i have longish dark brown hair medium skin tone i guess and dark brown eyes....help??

Nose Piercing

I got my nose pierced a few months ago, then removed it once I got a job. If I go to get my nose re-pierced and already have the starter piercing, will the piercer let me use it and not charge me full price?

thin/thick layered haircuts?

I was recently at a hair salon getting my hair highlighted, and the stylist who did my hair told me I have the wrong kind of haircut. She said I have a thick layered hairstyle, when what I really need is a thin layered hairstyle. What does this mean? Is there really a difference in layers for thick hair and thin hair?

So i really need a new pair of shoes to start off my senior year. I want to go for something comfortable, but I also want something that looks a little more grown up to match my wardrobe. My style is pretty girly, but I'm too tall for heels and I have enough flats and sandals. I'm just looking for a simple and versatile, but really cute everyday shoe. Thanks so much! :)♥

I naturally have very blonde hair. Its also soft and silky. But there are man different shade in it...the front is extremly blonde and the back is more of a dirty blonde.
How can i naturally lighten my hair without dying it at the hairdresser, and still keep it silky and soft?

ok , so im gonna be a freshman and I wanted to be a princess the night of homecoming. But my mom gave me a 75 dollar budget!! i dont know how to find the dress I want for the ridiculously low amount. I want to buy some thongs with my boyfriend's name on them and maybe a heart or something. It would be super cool if I could even design my own underwear for such things. Does anybody know of a store or a website that will let me do this without ripping me off?

keep nipples from showing under swimsuit

I was swimming today and my nipples kept getting really hard when I got out of the water. My crush was at the pool too and I didn't want him to notice because I think it's embarrassing and might give him the wrong impression about me. How can I hide hard nipple when wearing swimwear or bathing suits so I feel more comfortable about myself? I was thinking maybe some sort of tape but I'm not sure if that might work when hiding them when I am in the pool water. Thanks everybody!

Jewelry Boxes For Earrings

I'm starting to buy a whole bunch of costume jewelry (specifically HOOP earrings) from places like Forever21. I was wondering, do any of you have jewelry boxes that hold all your earrings? Does anyone know where I can get cute jewelry boxes? I find the regular ones so plain and boring. How do you store all your earrings? Thanks in advance!

A girl that is 5'4-5'5 too tall to wear heels? In middle school I was taller than most guys and I think ever since then I think of myself as "too tall" to wear heels. Im going away to college and I wanna dress a little bit more girly and I think wearing heels will be a big step up!.. Thanks!!

Okay so I have beautiful blonde hair with natural highlights (It's dirty blonde if that helps) And I was adding some highlights and LITTLE brown streaks but my Aunty gave my Mom bleach for the highlights and a reddy brown that in blonde hair turns STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE RED. So I was fully ticked cause I looked like Starwberry shortcake gone WRONG on CANADA DAY. IT WAS HORRRIBLE. So we used my moms grey hair stuff (brown coloured) to cover it. It looked prety then because it was darky brown with dark not to noticable red highlights in some parts. But...here's where the problem comes in.....MY ROOTS ARE COMING IN BLONDE!!!!! Well you see I went on one of my "want something diffrent moments" So I cut my hair, and it looked pretty good length wise and everything ...but like at the top of my head my hairs growing in all messed up. I know a mistake :/ Is there anything I can really do to fix it? Thanks!

Her color is a brown but with red too.. i've tried to dye my hair like that but it always ends up being more brown than red. I've tried using Loreal's Dark Soft Mahognay Brown. and Revlons Dark Aubrun Brown. But they seem to make my hair more brown than red. How do i get that tint of red??
Anybody have any brands or types of dye they would recommend?? Thank you!

Hello, fifteen, female. I couldn't find a better category to put this in but it works well here, too. I am having my Sweet Sixteen in August and I have no idea what I want to do. I don't know what to wear (hence the category). I want it to be something that people will remember when school starts but I don't want it to be to costly.
