I was never baptized but now I am looking into it. However I do not want to be baptized infront of the entire church during sunday mass. Is that out of the question?

I'm totally lost in the types of Christianity there are. I know I believe in God, and the fact that Jesus died for us to get into Heaven. But what I do not understand, is what exactly God did, and what exactly Jesus did to get crucified in the first place.
Also, I was wondering if someone could explain the differences in denominations for me, or give me a link to a site that can do so. Thanks so much.

Ima christian & at church with youth group we sometimes do this. The youth leaders will put questions on a piece of paper & you answer them.
First: she said answer these questions as if god was not standing right next too you.
and i did.
Second: she said now answer the questions as if god was not standing right next to you.
I know that god is with you all the time.
But this one question had me stumped.
--If a relative was in the hospital & could die any minute would you stay in the room with them?--
I said no to this because i couldnt bring myself to let someone die right next too me.

I was listening to Carrie Underwood's song "Jesus Take the Wheel" and i was wondering...
is there an explanation to why people's lives flash before their eyes when something bad is about to happen (like the accident in the song)

I'm open to new ideas and Wiccan seemed interesting to me. My mother's not open minded at all and so I can't talk to her about it. I'm afraid to talk about it with my family because they are all close minded along with my friends. I don't mind that I want to persue wiccan. hey,
i have a question that has been stumping me for a while now and i was hoping you all could possibly help me on my lil situation. so here is the question
when you loose a friend who was really close to you a friend that called you a name and you called them one as in nicknames and it seems that they have forgotten you but you know you will never forget them and you will do everything to try to have the realtionship even if it is a friend that is a minor
how would you come about trying to regain a friendship of the past???
like how would you attempt to get a friendship with a person of the past. even if you mesed up in the past but have changed now. how can you try to find somthing in ...

the 3 similar religions

I was talking to my friend about religions and how they relate, and she told me that Islam, Christianity, and Judaism are very similar in their beliefs. The books are very alike, but have different names, according to my friend, and that the belief in Jesus is how Christianity stands out.
But how are Islam and Judaism REALLY different? [I'm not knowledgable at all with religions, so don't accuse me of lieing and stuff cuz this is what my friend told me]. Just because Muslims believe Muhammad was a prophet and Jews don't doesn't seem significant enough to separate the religions. So yeah..how are they different?

The taunting of spirits

Well, I have to shorten this a bit, as I could go on and on, but basically the story goes like this: One day, as I was sitting in my apartment, I began to hear some teenage girls talking about me throug the walls of the building. I found this strange, but stranger as I came to find they were discussing my thoughts. As time went on, I started hearing them in the shower, then at work and while doing other things. They told me they were psychics at first, and that I was psychic as well. I started hearing family and friends drop by every once in a while in my mind as well. It took me a while, but I finally realized the whole thing was a sham, and that I was being spoken to not by man, but by spirits. At that point, I addressed them as demonic, ...

how bad is it to say god dammit in the vatican

okay well i went on an italy trip and when we were in the vatican we were in some church and i said god dammit...is that like a one way ticket to hell? i usually dont beleive some sins wouldnt get me into heaven or if theres even a heaven at all but cursing in the vatican? im also afraid if i tell a preist theyll like ounch me in the face
please tell me if im deff. going to hell or how bad that really is or anythiung
